Graveyard Outdoors & Sheep Hunting with Julie Chapman

We welcome Julie Chapman to the podcast to talk Sheep hunting, Graveyard Outdoors, kids in the outdoors and conservation.

Julie, although having grown up as a hunter, got bit really hard by the sheep bug a few years ago. Like everything in Julie's life she does everything to the extreme, hence her passion for chasing wild sheep. Julie notched her FNAWs a few years back and was closing in on her second FNAWS when her mother took ill this past year. Julie talks about the decision to leave the mountain and make her way home to be there for her mom.

Julie and her husband were the founders of a not-for-profit called Graveyard Outdoors whose focus is to get children outside. Julie discusses what is like shepherding 65 kids on a turkey hunt and the many highs she has personally enjoyed mentoring the next generation of hunters.

We also dive into the work Julie is doing as a Director for the Wild Sheep Foundation and her upcoming hunt plans this year.
