God Always Leaves More Than He Takes Away - A Nighttime Prayer
About this episode
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for thou art with me.” -- Psalm 23:4
Heavenly Father, I come to you with a heart full of trust, or you are my shepherd. I lack nothing, for I find everything I need in your care. You lead me to green pastures and beside still waters, restoring my soul when weary. Thank you for guiding me along paths of righteousness for your name’s sake.
Even when I walk through the darkest valleys of life, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and staff comfort and protect me, assuring me of your presence. You prepare a table for me, even in the presence of my enemies, anointing my head with oil. My cups overflow with your blessing.
Surely, your goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in your house forever. I trust your promise for my life and rest in your everlasting peace. In Jesus name, Amen
