Global Change and Nuclear Power

About this episode

Series 1: Sociopolitics In Nuclear Episode 2: Nuclear Power In The Picture Of Global Issues. When the pleasure of life has been arbitrated, the dispute to progress rationed and much of the sayings reveried, then all we can say is, "let's act now". Global change can be solved with a simple technology and that is nuclear power and technology. Hey! Come, have a listen to this podcast. Collins In the last part, here is what I mean: 1 MWh serves 1,300 persons in Europe 1 GWh serves 1.3 million of them. But since an average consumption of 12KWh per day is recorded per person. Kenya being a low consumer of Electricity, consumes about 5 KWh/person per day or 0.2KWh per person per hour (0.208). Therefore, 5million or approximately 4.8 million people will consume 1GWh in 1 hour. Note: There is a place I have said, 100 instead of 1,000. In the previous episode, EMC^2, not an A (that's in Swahili). Will sure correct those errors next time!
