The 1971, the dollar was cut loose from gold. Meaning it was no longer tied to anything scarce. It became money-based solely on trust. But politicians and central bankers have proven that they will always break that trust. $100 back then only buys you about $13 worth of stuff today. In 55 years, the money supply went from $700 billion to over $22 trillion. At that rate in another 55 years, it'll be $700 trillion. That same $100 bill will be worth less than 10 cents. The people in charge always benefit from printing more. The only solution is to take the control out of their hands. Drawing money that no one can print and no politician can manipulate. Money with rules instead of rulers. It's the only way and that's why the world desperately needs Bitcoin.
