Girl Dies After School Bus Stop Fight

The incident happened Thursday afternoon in Villa Rica, involving Jada from Mason Creek Middle School and another student. Cellphone video captured the two girls yelling from a distance before dropping their backpacks and exchanging punches. They fell to the ground, then stood up as an adult intervened and told Jada to head home. The school bus had already left more than 90 seconds earlier. Paramedics found her in cardiac arrest nearby, with someone already doing CPR. They rushed her to the hospital where her family later posted pleas for prayers on social media. She passed away Sunday. Loved one shared the sad news online, and a memorial sign with flowers now marks the spot near her home. Her mother turned down interview requests from reporters. Police are studying the video and waiting on autopsy results before meeting prosecutors later this week to consider charges.
