Lowry's a big guy, 6'6", and almost 300 pounds. He started his career with the Green Bay Packers, then bounced to the Minnesota Vikings, and most recently was with the Pittsburgh Steelers for Asesti. Couple of years, he's seen a lot of action, played in over 130 games with a good chunk of starts. He's got some decent stats too, wrecking up over 16 sacks and more than 200 tackles in his career. Now, he did have a rough last season, tearing his ACL, which landed him on injured reserve. The Steelers ended up letting him go during the final roster cuts. The Giants have been making moves to try and improve their run defense, and bringing in someone with Lowry's experience is part of that strategy. They're definitely trying to solidify the defensive tackle spot.
