Gender Identity: A Conversation with My Teen

Welcome to February's Cupid Series!

I have an extra special guest joining me today - my oldest kid Sophia Elliott.  Sophia turned 15 this week and has proven to be my greatest teacher since the moment she was born. 

Since she started high school some really important topics have become her passion and purpose in bringing the world together as a diverse and inclusive place. I have learned a lot, so I invited her on today’s episode to share her knowledge around the topic of Gender Identity - what we adults don’t know, what we need to know, and how to best educate and support the ones we love as we navigate this new and very important conversation. 

After our recording, Sophia put together a resource list that can help support both kids and adults alike in this journey to better understand ourselves and the ones we love.
