A new rapport from Rint Cafe shows a massive 1,318 percent jump in Gen Z Rinter households there from 2018 to 2023. Southern cities are dominating the trend with metros in North Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Florida seeing the biggest gains. The study looked at 97 US areas with at least 15,000 Gen Z households defined as people born between 1997 and 2012. In Birmingham, the number of these young Rinters shot up from 1,683 to 23,859. Over five years, Huntsville ranked 11th nationally, growing from 1,648 to 14,521 Rinters in the same period.
