This came during a high-intensity policing push today, targeting the busy path from Colleen Road in Dublin and all the way to Grange Castle in Dublin, 22. That greenway sees tons of walkers, runners, cyclists, and folks on e-bikes or e-scooters daily, so these incidents had everyone on edge, disrupting, commutes, and leisure vibes. In the raids, they scooped up two stolen electric bicycles, two e-scooters tied to robberies, three e-bike batteries with serial numbers fouled off, a, swiped bankard, and key electronic devices. The two use are locked up at stations in DMR West as part of Operation Me Can, aimed at shutting down e-vehicles fueling crimes from drug runs, too.
