Gamecocks Land Top DL Archer, Boost Class of '27

This 6'4", 315 pound beast from Fayetteville, North Carolina pledged to the program for the Class of 2027. Archer ranks as the 130th best prospect in the country, 16th best defensive lineman nationally and 6th in his home state. According to the 247 composite, last season at 71st high, he posted 44 tackles and 17 tackles for loss, showing serious disruptive power up front. Players and coaches made him feel right at home during his spring visit to Columbia, with Archer saying it was like he was already on the team.
