In Tampa Bay today, March 3rd, a recent Gallup poll from February 2nd through 16th asked Americans about the biggest problem facing the country today. Government and political leadership came out on top, with 29% of adults naming it as the main issue. That's about the same as the 32% in January. This concern has stayed high since President Trump started his second term, averaging 27% over the past year. It beats the 19% average during Biden's presidency and even tops Trump's first term at 24%. Way back before 2000, it rarely hit 20%. Democrats are driving a lot of this, with 44% calling out government problems, often pointing to Trump, corruption, or too much. Executive power. That's near their record high. Independent said 24%, while Republicans were at just 19%. Immigration jumped to second place at 20%, up from 10% the month before. The economy got 11%, an inflation, or high prices,

8%. This poll came right after some tough immigration enforcement news in January, including the deaths of two U.S. citizens during ICE operations and Trump sending his borders are to handle things in Minneapolis. That spotlight likely boosted mentions of immigration. We'd like to thank our sponsor for making this episode possible.
