Lucas Sanabria opened a scoring in the 8th minute with an unassisted goal, and Joao Claus followed with two quick strikes in the 11th and 13th minutes to seal the early lead. Claus grabbed his second goal of the season, unassisted after taking a pass from Gabriel Peck on the first one. Peck now has 24 assists in his first 64 matches for the team. The 29-year-old forward joined the Galaxy in a trade with St. Louis City to help her place injured star, Riqui Pueg.
