With the NFL today, March 9th, the Pittsburgh Steelers' 2025 team MVP, Kenneth Gainwell, is heading to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' next season. He's signing a two-year deal worth $14 million, averaging $7 million per year. That price tag likely kept him from staying in Pittsburgh where running back Jaylen Warren already earns just under $6 million a season. Steelers officials really wanted to bring him back but couldn't make it work. Now Pittsburgh turns to Warren and their 2025 third-round pick Caleb Johnson as their top two runners. Gainwell had a breakout year on a one-year deal worth about $1.8 million, rushing for over 1,000 scrimmage yards and eight. Touchdowns while shining as a receiving option for quarterback Aaron Rodgers. D&N is sponsored by our partner. Check out the episode description, headphones in a pillow.
