Gabe Joyes is a mountain runner, adventurer, and family man based in Lander, Wyoming. Known for tackling rugged, steep, and fiercely competitive mountain ultras, he’s constantly pushing the limits of what’s possible in training, racing, and mountain adventures.

When he’s not roaming some of North America’s most remote terrain, Gabe is coaching, co‑directing the Sinks Canyon and Run the Red Desert races, or out exploring with his wife and two young daughters. He’s driven by a passion for helping others reach their own summits and for protecting the wild places that make these journeys meaningful.
