02This is J-Towers in the morning. Hi, everybody. Welcome to the show for Friday. Well, I'm glad the weekends here. Oh, glad. Oh, my God. Couldn't be happier. I always hate that. I'll go shit. It's a weekend or excited. It's a weekend. No, really, we are. We're excited. It's a weekend. We need it to be. Hey, we had a good day yesterday. We were out and about. Out and about in the city. Tell you a little bit about that. Great lunch yesterday. Also on the show. Oh, great. I think we've literally been thinking about it since we left. I told you so good. I was thinking, I should have not got that experimental pizza. We should have just got two of the other ones. Well, next time. Next time. Next time I want one with pepperoni, please. Yeah, I wasn't going to say anything there because I wanted you to handle it, but I'm a pepperoni person. I like pepperoni. Dude, I almost asked for it on the side. And I thought that would be there. Nobody gets a side of pepperoni. How would you do that? Would they just put in a little a little pepperoni? Yeah, but yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Coming up on the show today, we do have music to make you cooler. We also,
02we'll talk a little bit about why during this tax season, you should not be getting help from influence. You definitely don't want to do that. There's also an airline that now will only clean the more expensive seats in between flights. So if somebody like back in the back of the plane has crumbled cookies and all that. That's cool. Yeah, they're just going to it's going to remain dirty. So they don't want us to fly on there? Doesn't sound like okay. They're changing up a lot of things over there. We have more de mi lavato tickets today. Yes, yep. Very good. We'll do that this morning. Jake Towers in the morning on demand. Here's the Hollywood Minute with Chelsea. Savannah got three visited the Today Show studio yesterday for the first time since her mom disappeared. She stopped by to just thank her colleagues. She said, I'm still standing. I still have hope. I'm still me. There's a lot of pictures that you can see her through Studio A with like Hota Kotby. Clearly emotional and like giving her a kiss and hugging all the co-workers. Now she does plan to return to the show at some point,
06but right now obviously the focus is on finding her mom. I mean, I'm just going to be so irritated if this just quietly goes away and those idiots sort of get away with it. I think they'll go get a figure now. I hope so. Don't get a figure now. Jessica Simpson has chosen to keep her $17 million mansion following the separation from her husband, Eric Johnson. So they initially had listed the home for $22 million back in 2023. Then it had a little price reduction in 2024. Now she's just taken it off the market completely and she says she's going to stay put. Okay. And it is the Osborne's old house. It is. Yeah, which I think is kind of funny. Oh. Britney Spears was arrested Wednesday night for a DUI after authorities responded to erratic driving. An unknown substance was discovered in her car during the stop that is currently being tested. She was taken to the hospital for a blood dry for her, you know, let alcohol count. Sure, yeah. Okay, she would not comply on this.
08No, she did, but they were given her another, okay. They still took her. Britney, very emotional and regretful about the incident. Now her longtime manager has released a statement saying, this is an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable. Britney is going to take the right steps to comply with the law. And hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in her life. He also said that her family plans to support her. She'll be with her boys. I know she's talked to her mom. And you know what else will help America and the world? Stop liking her dancing videos. Stop liking that. The dancing videos are done. No, it's ridiculous. It's, I was trying to explain this to Warren yesterday, what she does on Instagram every single day. Yeah. And he, and I said, and she gets likes, like she did something new and different. 100,000. Like stop supporting her melting down every day on Instagram. I just like that her manager is like this behavior is totally wrong. Well, what can you say? Confirming everything.
08Yeah. Well, he's kind of confirming everything that we thought though. Yeah, like something's not right with her. I say get her dad back in the mix. You know, you know, I'm not bad. Yeah, it could be toxic in theaters this weekend. That was a really good one. We have hoppers and the bride. All right, Charles. Thank you so much. Good morning from 100.3 WNIC still to come. We had a really fun day yesterday. We ate a lot in our little adventure downtown. We'll tell you about that. Also, one airline says they are not going to clean the higher, the lower price seats in between flights. We'll tell you what airline that is coming up. Oh, crap. I got six thousands camera. And there it is. It's all good. Okay, sometimes Allison's camera gets tilted and she looks like one of the villains in the old Batman TV show. Oh, they were always just married. They were always on it because they were crooked. That's what that was the joke. Yeah. That was the joke that's say. Wow. Those scenes were always shot at an angle to show they were crooked. And I thought that was like a genius thing. Oh, no, no. What a great day.
08We had yesterday we got off the we got off the area yesterday here in South field at our Fox two radio studio with I heart. And then we went over to the I heart building downtown at Eastern Market where we conduct business. Business was conducted. That's all you need to know. We said at Allison's desk, I have a desk. I set up I like to call it my office. Well, yeah, yeah, that's that's a better territory. Yeah, yeah. I think it'd be great if you had a picture of frame picture of Warren and a mug and then you just kept it there. Well, I was going to put tape just like this at the chair that just says, Alice. Yeah, so you know where it is. So we were there for a little bit. And I posted those pictures on Facebook. I think you guys did too. I posted something like Kim Blockamp. We were joking with her about our I heart tunnel that everybody wants to take a picture in the red tunnel. But then we went over to subino for pizza. Oh my god. So delicious. It was so long overdue. And I have not been able to stop thinking about it. Like I want to go back today and get another pizza. And this I mean this in the best way possible.
11Yeah. But the pizzas we got were just so basically simple. Yes. And I don't know how they make such basically simple pizza tastes so amazing. That's why that's why Chelsea was right. I should have got pepperoni. I don't know why. Like three ingredients. And it was like, oh my god. I mean, you really can junk a pizza up and then it becomes more of just like this thing. But like press sauce cheese. Like back in the day, like, you know, New York style pizza is really just that. It's just really good sauce that doesn't taste like it's good. It's good sauce. It's cheese. It's very hot and thin. And that's it. And you fold it. And you're right, it's foldable. And I kept saying I'm like, this is not just mozzarella. There was some sort of cheese in there that I was like, oh, this is good. And thanks to subinoes by the way, Espino really quick. But you know, every time we go there and we post something like they always repost it pretty quickly. Oh, they do, did you tag them? I did. I didn't think to do that. Okay, I think it's funny that we ordered. So we ordered a large and then we ordered a small of a second one. Your comment was, will everyone take some home? Like, will we make sure that we take it home?
12And we were like, absolutely. Those pizzas were cleared. We ate everything, everything. And on the pictures I posted, I took one picture of just one piece left. Because I was like, who's going to get that? Because I think we all wanted it. But no one wants to take that last piece. And then there was one last. Especially when we've already had like six pieces of pizza. I know. And then there was one last piece of the white pizza. So I was like, well, I'll eat that one, Chelsea, you take the. I hope that they weren't offended. I was really embarrassed after I said it. But I had asked for a side of ranch because I'm just obsessed with ranch. And they were like, we are really sorry to say this. But we are a restaurant that does not carry ranch. It was so funny. I was like, we don't carry this. Did you bring it? It was something that we don't get. Not even it, we don't carry a teaspoon of ranch. It was like all my passion to you. How dare you? What are you going to dip of hours into ranch? I feel like that was the equivalent of asking a steakhouse for like a one sauce. Yeah. I wouldn't have known, but yeah.
13But also interesting, if ranch is around maybe, but I never think about ranch with pizza. Oh, I really? I don't either until you have it. And then it's not so bad. Right. If it's around, I might do it. But yeah, wow, you look angry over there. What's happening? Oh, oh, and then so when I got home yesterday. Uh-huh. I realized that it was Minimum and Rose birthday. You know, she's the queen of Toobie. It's a queen of Toobie, more Toobie movies than anybody. And I thought, she's a nice, I'm going to give her a surprise. I'm going to give her a surprise, uh, face time. Nice. Oh, that was bold. A surprise face. I mean, because anything can happen. You know, you don't. Oh, you mean you just randomly started ringing? I just randomly. Yeah, that's usually requires like a notification. Like, hey, can I face time you? Why didn't I, I did what I winged it. Yeah, uh, winged it. Minimum and Rose. Is it your birthday?
13It is. I love you. Happy birthday. Welcome in my new edition sweatshirt. I'm so jealous. You lived it. You've been a concert guide this past six months. She's noticed. I knew a dish that had a crazy background. She just kept it there. But like a regular person. Like a regular person. You shatter fans. Yeah. But huge. But I'm so the next show is what. And we got to go for you some as soon as we can. All right. I'm going to read some soon. Yes. Yes. So tell me, it's Italian. I got you. Oh, that's how you sat in. I love the Italian salad. I love you. I love you back. It's like can be up, but I'm free. I want, I want her, uh, I'm going to write a 2B movie. Will you get it to her? I want you to be a hitman. I don't want to be a hitman. No, but that's so counter programming. That's not who expects that.
14Denzel in training day. What? That was who does that? Now, does she ever work with Vianne? Yeah, she was. Vianne thinks so. Okay. Was that who said you could be an EMT? Yes. That's yeah. Wow. You had a really busy day yesterday. It was a busy day. Now, what is your next show? Because she's right. I mean, you've been like a concert frequently. I don't. By the way, is there anything you want to go to? No, we told us yesterday. We know what the one thing you want to go to is. We need to get diesel into. He's, he's messaged me a few times and I've been really bad at getting back to him. I don't know. You know, Diesel. Diesel's on prime right now with black men. Don't cheat three. Oh my god. As diesel, he's a director and he's, I think it's probably safe to say he's like the king of tubi. He's in a lot of movies. Okay. He's in a lot, but even he's, there he is. There's diesel. Oh, okay. So what you're saying with the next, I don't know yet. I don't know. I think I've got Keith Sweat coming up in the summer. Is there anything like on your radar though that you don't have tickets for right now
16that you're like, I'd really like to go to that show or no? No, I don't think so. I think I really, I think I've done everything I want to do. No, if there's a show on his radar that he really wants to go to, he's got tickets already. Yeah, I'll tell you when I get back. He's just going to go. All right. Yeah, that's the thing. You're going to, you're not even going to tell us that you're going. I promise you, I'm not, I'm nothing coming up. Nothing coming up. I know. All right, well, we'll see. I make you a Michael Carbonaro, the illusionist because he's like his stuff. I'm going to write a movie where you're the hitman. All right. I'm going to call it the hitman. All right, very good. Okay. And we can play that song. Watch out for the hitman. I don't know. And yes, you do. AB Logic from the 90s. Yes, you do. A couple of Fox News headlines today. The big if you missed our J towers in the morning on Demand show, the rewind show on Fox locally yesterday, that's because on Fox local breaking news always comes first. And it has to. So they did around our show last night at 930. But that's because yesterday, during the time that our show normally runs, President Trump fired Homeland Security Secretary Christy Nome.
18After she told Congress, the president approved a $220 million DHS ad campaign. That's why she got the boot because he was standing by her. Trump says he never authorized that spending and didn't know about the ads. You don't snark on the president. Well, he says he didn't know about it. So as he said, she said, Oklahoma Senator, Mark Wayne Mullin is expected to take over March 31st. Does this mean she's going to have to redo all the airport screens when you stand at TSA. Yeah, when you stand at TSA, she's like, I'm Christy Nome. Welcome to the airport. What I've never noticed that. But I also have been to the airport since J's juniors, so maybe that's why. But she was given a different role. Did you hear that? Yeah, she got a different position. I, yeah, she wasn't fired. She was here to notice. Is it like an envoy or something? Yeah, a special envoy for a security initiative called the Shield of the Americas, which I thought was interesting. Like if you're firing her because you're so mad at her, not happy with her work or whatever,
21why are you giving her another job? Well, there. Well, that's why I had said he was, when she was going through all that Congress hearing stuff and everyone was like, she's got to get, he was standing by her to a point. He was like, not I'm not going to fire her. But she, um, like it wasn't a firing like in many other worlds. You're fired and you will get that. And we wish you well in your future endeavors. This was like, they fired her and then she was able to come out speak, talk about the new role and, you know, she got bumped to overnight. She got bumped to overnight. Yeah, that works. That's right. That's right. Run a business and not thinking about podcasting. Think again, more Americans listen to podcasts than add supported streaming music from Spotify and Pandora. And as the number one podcaster, IHART's twice as large as the next two combine. So whatever your customers are into, true crime, sports, comedy, culture, they'll hear your message. Plus only IHART can extend your message to audiences across broadcast radio. And all this reach means everything.
22Just think about the universal marketing formula. The number of consumers who hear your message, times the response rate, equals the results. Now, let's get those results growing for you. Think podcasting can help your business. Think IHART streaming radio and podcasting. Let us show you at iHeartAdvertising.com. That's iHeartAdvertising.com. Or call 844-844-IHART. One more time. Call 844-844-IHART and get podcasting working for you. Daylight saving time begins Sunday and sleep experts say that losing that hour can disrupt your sleep and even impact health and productivity. Their advice starts shifting your bedtime a little earlier each night before the change. So the transition is not so- It's not going to help you. Just rip the bandaid off. Spring and forward is not fun. I mean, it is fun because it's not going to be dark at whatever. But you're going to three days are going to be messed up.
25I think that's what it takes me to the like the third day. Yeah. To finally get adjusted. But I don't think you can ease into it. I think it's just you ripped the bandaid. You're the first day is like this moon. And you know, I think it's way worse, right? I mean, Monday's way worse than it is in the fall. Falling back isn't so hard, is it? No, because you do feel like you're getting that extra hour. Yeah, you almost get bored. You're like, I have too much time today. Like for me, Monday morning to when my alarm goes off at 2 a.m., my mental alarm will be 1 a.m. Because it's an hour or sooner. So that takes a little getting used to. I always feel bad for parents. Because that's really hard for kids to adjust. And if you finally got your kid on like a good sleep schedule. And that's like that totally wrecked now. What was it, British Columbia? They're not doing it anymore. They're springing forward right now. And they're never looking back. They're like, this is where we live. Oh, I had I had one story here. Wait a minute. This I thought was strange. A congressman in Florida thinks we should switch to
26half daylight saving time. Instead of a permanent standard or day time or daylight time, he wants to split the difference by having everyone shift clocks up 30 minutes and leaving them there. The big downside is we'd have a half an hour off time zones everywhere. Okay, he needs that he just confused everything. Imagine if it's like, wait a minute. So yeah, it would, yeah, like 630 would be 7. You know what solves this argument? It's so weird. It is weird. Do you know what solves this argument though? It was invented for a reason for farmers, right? Something like that. If there's not a reason for it anymore, if there's not a benefit, then that would be a reason to stop doing it. I'm telling you, I know it's a pain in the neck and it's everybody hates it. We would notice a media like come in, somehow or midwinter. Something would feel weird. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, it would not work out right. I don't think so. There you go. Time for feeling good in the D on 100.3 WNIC. Feeling good is brought to you by our friends at David Feminino.
31Good David get paid. How about this story? A woman in Washington state used to find my iPhone to save her husband from an avalanche. It happened last Thursday while he was skiing at a resort 50 miles east of Seattle. So Michael Harris's wife Penny says she had a bad feeling. Something wasn't right. He didn't pick up when she called. She used to find my iPhone to see where his phone was. His phone wasn't moving. So she rushed to the resort and showed them exactly where he was and they dug him out. He was stuck for hours. He was buried. Yes, I've had Burmia and a broken leg, but he is alive. Oh my gosh. Well, that's a ring endorsement for Apple. It really is. Yeah, so I mean, I think you're going to accomplish the same thing when you share locations. Young people share their locations all the time. They're always sharing their locations. Remember that episode of Landman? We're Billy Bob and their daughters out. And she's making, she's making Billy Bob in the middle of the night go get their daughter. Uh-huh. Because she's in one spot and hasn't moved.
32But she's in one spot in a truck with a football player. Billy Bob shows up for that. But he's like, she hasn't moved for 40 minutes. So there you go. Thank you, Penny, for saving your husband's life and showing us that. That was so great. A little find my iPhone feature works. We're joined by Fox 2 meteorologist Alan Longstreet. Alan, good morning to you. How crappy was your drive in today, guys? It's a fine free foggy. Yeah, again, yeah, here we go. But my phone told me something very nice. So I didn't cry about it. Yeah, because I asked her this morning, what will the high be? And she said 59. Oh, yeah, that's annoying, though, because that's technically true. Well, it's technically true, but it's misleading because our high temp is going to be right before midnight. Oh, so I'm actually glad you brought that up for midnight tonight. Yeah, yeah, it's like normally it's like late afternoon. By late afternoon, we're going to be like low 50s. Although I will say West Ann Arbor, maybe, maybe, maybe you get there earlier. Okay. Most of us, though, I would say 50s. And then that sets the pace for the entire weekend. It does. So 60s on Saturday. Now Saturday, we have some wet weather.
32Sunday will be cooler, but we're still well into the 50s and we have sun. So I'd say Sunday. That's exciting. Sunday picked day Monday. Go ahead, call in six, six, six. Sixties with sun on Monday, too. Yeah, yeah, I don't know if I'll be right. Yeah, then you guys want to complain about daylight saving time? Oh, that's as we get. It is. We spring. We spring ahead. We jump to conclusions. Yes, we do. But for sure, I'm sick on Monday. Sad about this. I know. I'm with you, Charles. We're at like a 730 sunset. Sunday. Buck. Man, she loves the. She does. I like the dark. If you get dark, it's you. She's like a little gremlin. Because I say dark from the morning now. Is that the view? No, it's late. No, no, no, it'll be dark for the morning. It's 6 a.m. It's not. No, because you got it. You got to move. It'll be like 6 a.m. sunrise. Now you have me saying you can see myself. No, never second. No, no, no, no, it's dark in the morning. And it stays later later. It's a question. Then really quick. Since I messed it up, do you notice it's later now, though?
36We're going to snap back. We're going to snap back. Oh, okay, we're going to snap back. All right, it's a snapback. That's what we're going to snap back. It's the Sunday. See how that got me? I'd like to send you into the aromatherations. Oh, my God. Can you imagine? You'll confuse everyone into peace. I thought you guys were acting like it wouldn't work. And it would. It would. It totally would. I think it tired, though, after like 20 minutes of acting. I'm ready to go today. I'll go let this lady in. I'll go let this lady in. Back in the day. Back in the day. Today is brought to you by our friends at Family Heating Cooling and Electrical. Here's the latest 127 years ago. In 1899, Bayer patented aspirin. So there there's that Bayer aspirin. I still use today. Yeah, but you know what? I don't, I take aspirin every day. But I always wonder about this. You don't take aspirin. Like if you had a headache, you'd take ibuprofen or Tylenol, right?
36Depends. Yeah, I don't know who's taking aspirin anymore for headache. I don't know. Yeah, I remember I, I don't know. I was at the hospital once. A long, long time ago. And I had a pain somewhere. And I had said to him that I had taken like six aspirin specifically. And the doctor was like, well, yeah, no, don't do that. You're sitting in your blood. Right. So that's why I think is, I mean, you see aspirin Bayer and all the other people that make aspirin. But I wonder who's taking it like for headaches? This is not an endorsement. But I will tell you this, nothing for me gets rid of a headache faster than three Advil. Now I don't know if you're supposed to take three Advil. But then they also have those Advil 600s. They give you a hospital. So I mean, yeah, I mean, it's just that the Advil's are one of the 250 milligrams. Yeah, I take three ibuprofen. I take three ibuprofen. Yeah. Oh, all Advil is ibuprofen, right? It gets 200. Yeah, and it's 200 milligrams. And Tylenol is 500. You take two of those. That's a thousand. So yeah, look at us. We're like drugists. In 1965, the temptations hit number one of the billboard charts
38with their signature song, My Girl. Of course, that amazing song recorded right here on West Grand Boulevard. In 1981, Walter Cronkite signs off for the first time as the anchor of the CBS sign off final time. Yes, for the final time, CBS evening news. And then I went to Dan Rather. I think after that, and he did it for a long time. A long time. Eight years ago in 2018, Forbes names Jeff Bezos, the wealthiest person in the world for the first time with a network of 112 billion. That was in 2018. Oh my God, I wonder who it is now. Is it Elon Musk? It might be Elon Musk, but I might still be Jeff Bezos. I mean, you can make all the rockets you want in the world in those Tesla's, but Dan, you know, that Amazon. But he had to split up that half of his earnings with his ex-wife. Oh, that's true. So I wonder if that kind of knocks him down a little bit. Did you say he was named the richest person in America or the world? The world. Okay. The world. Yeah. All right, WNIC Dearborn Detroit. Let's do Hollywood Minute with Chelsea. It is brought to you. It is Elon Musk now. Brought to you this time around by.
39Tapper's fine jewelry. Okay, so it looks like this happens in every industry. This is really sad though. Christina Applegate says that the money that she was offered to do anchor man was so low that it was a little offensive. I mean, she knows her worth and she knew that like, I'm not doing this for this amount of pay. Will Ferrell and the director Adam McKay wanted her so badly that they paid out a pocket to bump up her salary. Wow. We got a real problem between up here and right here. And by the way, you can't do anything up here without right here. Yep. Right. You need down here. You need right here. Yeah. To make up your happy idea. By the way, I don't see Christina Applegate is really being down here. She's done a honest, I know that she's not Will Ferrell. Yeah. I'm talking about corporations, CEO, just really unfortunate. You know how we have salt mines? Me and Allison learned that about a month ago. Yeah. Maybe we should bring Hollywood memorabilia here. I guess there is a huge treasure trove of memorabilia that's stored in a salt mine in Kansas.
42Yeah. The temperature and humidity make it an ideal location and things like secret government documents are also in that. Yeah, Mark Pillow, my Superman 4 client played nuclear man. Okay. He and I were invited to the salt mine. That's salt mines to that. Okay. That in Kansas. When we were there for a show and I was tired and crabby and said, I can't do anymore today. And he went, he took that elevator down and he had a store like Warner Brothers has all the original films for things down there because it's temperature control, bomb proof. I mean, it's why they have movie props, all kinds of stuff down. That's almost like a scene out of Superman. It sure is. I can see Gene Hackman going down and like some, hey, by the way, can we get in and out of our salt mine or does it have to be discovered? We get those Oak Island guys. No, we have, I think we're actively down there. I love to go, I'd love to see it. I know. We should. If you listen and you know anybody with the salt mines, get a hold of Chelsea Kibble. Please. Eric Daines Memoir is going to be published on November 3rd. He was working on it right up until the end. It's called My Book of Days Memoir in Moments.
45Harry Styles has released his fourth studio of them. Kiss all the time. Disco occasionally. It has 12 songs. His first concert for the new album is going to be airing on Netflix on Sunday. That premieres at 3 p.m. Will you hear that in music to make you cool? We are. And I am so, I love Harry Styles. I did not like one song that I heard. Wow. I'm not, I don't really ever hear any Harry Styles songs. I like very much. I feel like it's if you are a fan of Justin Timberlake, you know this reference. It's like his Man of the Woods album. Oh, yeah. And I just, I don't get it. Yeah. Stick with what you're good at. And finally, Netflix has acquired Interpositive. It is an AI technology company that was founded by Ben Affleck. This comes shortly after Netflix withdrew from bidding on Warner Brothers Discovery. Now, Ben says that the company is committed to preserving human creativity. It's not to develop AI actors, but to have tools to address some editing challenges.
46Okay. In theaters this week and we have hoppers and the bride. All right, Chelsea. Thank you so much. Good morning from 100.3 WNIC with J. Towers, Alice and Chelsea. It is Friday in the city. We like that. Still to come. A friend, Erica Francis, who I'm anchoring the news down the hall with this morning, had an interesting meal in Austin, Texas. She's going to tell us about the first Alzen's bubble. It is coming up. A very interesting fact about the oceans. The oceans? Yes, we're going to learn something. Coming up. We're on a business and not thinking about podcasting. Think again. More Americans listen to podcasts than add supported streaming music from Spotify and Pandora. And as the number one podcaster, IHART's twice as large as the next two combine. So whatever your customers are into, true crime, sports, comedy, culture, they'll hear your message. Plus, only IHART can extend your message to audiences across broadcast radio.
49And all this reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing formula. The number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate equals the results. Now let's get those results growing for you. Think podcasting can help your business. Think IHART. Streaming, radio and podcasting. Let us show you at iHeartAdvertising.com. That's iHeartAdvertising.com. Or call 844-844-IHART. One more time. Call 844-844-IHART. And get podcasting working for you. It's time for Allison's bubble. What do you got today? This is according to a 2025 study. So this just happened. And it's not something we don't really already know. But when you really, when you really wrap your brain around it, we know way more about space than we do about what's going on under the ocean. I've heard that. Yeah. So according to this study from just last year,
49humans have visually documented about 1,470 square miles of the deep sea floor. That's just 0.001 percent. That's a little larger than the size of Rhode Island. So everything we think we know and that we've seen under the ocean, it freaks me out to the size of what's actually down there. You know, they still find like fishes and things like that down there. I haven't heard. Is it fish? They find fish down there. Yeah. That fishes. But still, you know what I'm saying? They don't fish. They fish. I don't know. But yeah, that haven't been discovered yet. Right. Yeah. No, I know. It's crazy. Our friend Erica Francis, so I do the news with down the hole in the box too, as we had a little commercial break. So I said, come down and say hi on the radio show. Thanks. Thank you for coming down. No, of course. We have been talking about a picture you posted from your, you went to where did you go last weekend? Austin, Texas. Right. To see my family. So wait, your family's in Austin? Yeah, I have three cousins and an aunt. All there and then their little babies.
50And I finally got to meet after like five years. One of your, you know, seven girls go stay in one hotel. No, no way more relaxing. And they made it sound like that's far fetched. No, it's not. No, that's a Saturday for you next weekend in Nashville. Oh my gosh. No, I know. I couldn't do the cold weather anymore. You guys is like, I'm going to go on so many trips in March. Yeah, I got to go. So wait, what was that thing that you were eating? Friedo pie. What is Friedo pie? Okay, so you guys have had the thing where you put like a walking taco. Thank you. Ground meat, whatever. Okay, so it's kind of a take on that. Yeah, but it's more southern. So you get like pulled pork, some beans, lots of cheese, sour cream. I mean, your tummy is going to be rumbling. So it's a form of nachos in a way. It's like a nacho. It is a nacho but with friedos. Friedos, not tortilla chips.
51Yes, and it was so good, you guys. And you needed in the slice form or you just pile it onto a plate. No, that was her plate. That was my plate. I ate it with a fork. Yeah, you did your meal. Yeah, I thought that was an app. The thing was how are you kidding me? It's app like that. I thought it was an app that everybody shared. I don't know. No, that was my meal. The comments were so funny, you guys. Were they? So many men were like, careful. That's going to go to your hips. Okay, I'm tired. She already has. I don't understand like the license that guys take on her page. Oh, it's like they're such scumbags. Yeah, they really are. Wow. I mean, they're the scummy things I've seen guys, right? I'm like, are you sure right there? Well, you can find out who they are. It's usually a picture. Yeah, it's usually a picture of their dog or a great dainn. Yeah, or a logo of a team. See, if you have a dog, I expect more from you. Any kind of pet. Don't be gross. Are people asking you for feet picks?
53Sometimes, the threes have kind of subsided. Oh, good. Yeah, they've gone to the way inside. Thankfully. But if you're having a bad day, just go on my page and go through the comments, and it'll cheer you up right away. Right. Well, it'll make you lose more faith in your men. Yeah, he's got the impression being an anchor woman. It may be. I think so, Jay. It's hard being an anchor woman. It's easy to be an anchor man. Yeah. An anchor man had it made. That's a joy too. Every day. Well, good. I'm glad if I'm, you know, a little announcement. I'm excited. I just been asked, I can't get all into it. I'm going to go to Austin in August. Are you going to be a hundred and thirty? I know, I know. Are you going to visit Erica's family? I'm going to see Erica's cousins and her new children. That's the announcement. All right, good. Well, good seeing you. I know you have to go back to her. I'm just a hair girl. I mean, boy, Oliver. Yeah, getting ready for that's incredible. Some incredible stories from around the world and beyond. That's incredible.
53We'll start with this one. First, a 33-year-old tourist from Canada was arrested after police said he stole a real flamingo from its habitat at the flamingo hotel and took the bird back to his room. He claimed he was rescuing it, but that was not the case. That's incredible. How does he think he was rescuing it? He was not rescuing it. Right. He was not. Well, you got to be drunk. He was drunk. Right. Got to be. Okay. Got to be that. Yeah. By the way, side note here, when we were at subpoena yesterday, having pizza, a gentleman came up to us and said, that's incredible. That was awesome. Which we thought was really funny. That was so funny. Yeah, I think it was. Clearly a listener. Clearly a listener. We first had we've heard that, though. That's incredible. We're there. That there. Southwest Airlines is experimenting with having cabin cleaners come on their planes between flights to clean only the premium and extra legroom seats of the aircraft. The rest will remain gross in Germany. That's incredible. Well, way to really kill it for your customers. Right. You're crushing it. Right. Isn't Southwest Airlines the one
54needs to restructure like seating. That's the one. I have to wipe my own seat down. No, it's wrong with them. That is correct. Wendy's is hiring a cheap tasting officer. It pays $100,000. Basically, you just taste as Wendy stuff and then post videos about it. You can apply at Wendy's cheap tasting officer.com. Chelsea, just don't give yourself that job. It's truly seriously. Just go to Wendy's every day and give you like that cinema con lady gave yourself that job. I'm just going to need to find to give yourself the job. Well, Wendy's location I can go to not the one in South Lyons closed. I don't know if the one in Novice open. Like you'll be at Wendy's every day, be in a CFO. I'm going to go to sheets every day and have scheduled appearances that I schedule myself. That's great. Right outside sheets. Speaking of sheets, you can door dash sheets now. I was on the door dash. Yeah, just like browsing yesterday. Where do you get those from? Tacos. Tacos? Okay. Jill sent. Tacos are one of the things they talk about a lot, but Jill sent me a picture inside the store because remember, I never went in and it looks. I mean, the picture I saw looked like a little grocery store.
55I mean, there was all kinds of cold. Yeah, most people say that Friday is the best day of the week for happy hour, but Jen's ears prefer Saturday. They also they're also the generation most likely to prefer having happy hour at home. So basically Jen's ears are staying home on Saturday and drinking and calling it happy hour. It can only be happy hour if it's on a weekday. You silly little Jen's ears. Right because you've worked all day and that becomes the happiest hour of the hour. You're not working and you're drinking. Yeah, Saturday is just regular fall down drunk day. That's what that is. Uber CEO says he's really demanding work culture include, include expecting employees to answer his emails over the weekend. He said, don't come here if you just want to coast. That's it. Who said that? The CEO of Uber. Okay, so I get that like don't just go and coast, but I also don't need to respond to your email on a weekend. Depending on what your job is. Yeah, by the way, if you need to talk to me that he just text me. Yeah, text me. I'll answer that. Yeah, a restaurant in California was getting backlash for a logo they
55created with the help of AI. So they just typed the name of the business in and made that the new logo. So funny. I'm dying to see it. What is it? Like who cares that the restaurant use AI to make their logos? It's their restaurant. This is what it looks like. The Salty Otter Sports Grill. If I want me. I mean, yeah, nothing's it's fine. Yeah. Where do people get the time? Officials are warning restaurants about people pretending to be health inspectors for social media videos. They're going in like with their phones being like, hello, I'm here with the food inspection company and we need to check everything out. And then they're like posting on TikTok. That is so stupid. That I'm sure I could be wrong. It's happened before, but that sounds really against the law. You're impersonating somebody. Yeah, right. And finally, a second child has become stuck inside that same claw machine at a recreational center in Missouri that the first kid got stuck. All right, we got a whole week's go. Yeah, we got to shut it down now, Missouri. Yeah, that that machine comes out
56of your chucky cheese or wherever we don't have it anymore. And also can we figure out how these kids are getting in? Because I'm just not understanding this. Yeah, and also keep an eye on those kids. Yeah, and there's that. Louisiana was rocks by 4.9 Magnus earthquake yesterday morning. It was the strongest to strike that part of the United States in 14 years. Look at Louisiana and their earthquake. There you go. That's incredible. 38:58That's right. I was talking to our boss Tony yesterday. And I was as I was talking to him like, you know how when you get distracted and you're like making eye contact and then you're like, I'm looking at the back of the Lenovo screen. Oh, man, did you bring it up? Did you say something about it? Allison, name a fruit that you can eat with the skin on. Apple number one 10 points. Oh, that's right. Yeah.
