It's one of your Tuesday afternoon, but it's not just any Tuesday as a guy. Top of the afternoon to your Carrie. Ooh, I do love a bit of older dance. Back on board now. You can even get a Michael flatly. Although he's not. Library upstairs, party downstairs? Yeah. And that's how you describe yourself, but we've also got some Michael flatly playing. Can I say about myself that I'm fine? I had so many people DM me after I posted last night, me on the couch eating for dinner, a hot cross bun and a tub of yogurt, needing me to get out of the tub. And the number of people I had offered, you need me to cook for you. I can bring over food. No, I couldn't have been happier. Carrie, would you give me some understanding floating? No, floating by making me feel like I'm not able to cook. It's not like... No, I think you did that with the photo of you with yogurt and a hot cross bun. I was so happy. I couldn't have been happier with my gel dinner. It was so good.

I've got a suspicion about this. Because it's been a phase for you. I've asked for the last months now where you keep talking about your girl dinners. I do. I reckon you take one bite and then you put it down and then out of frame. What are you eating for? A roast. I reckon you're having some kind of tuna salad and niswa salad number. I reckon you've got the lean protein. Two chunkier bits of niswa. It's like tuna and egg. Tuna salad. And like... Yeah, what else has it got in it? A bit of boredom. Yeah, I don't know. It's a bit bland. Yeah. A dash of mediocre. anchovies, olives. Yeah. Yeah, good, those things. Oh, and potato. Oh, potato. It's going to have a salad. You're having it to not have carbs to then throw potatoes in it. I'd rather have a bowl of chips than a niswa salad. A niscus hasn't spelt. Yes. Niscus. Niscus. Yes. French. French. It is French. From Nis. Well done. We've covered a lot of the air.

And the next segment is going to be brought to you by VG Airway. So stick around. Also, we've got one of the most expensive things. I think you say that. Because I was looking down the round sheet. And it tells me what's up next. And they're like, make sure you mention VG Airway. And I'm like, we're jumping all over the globe here. But I don't think you have to mention it. I think they're just letting you know that in the next segment, Jesse will mention something about VG Airway. Hey, don't give away who's going to do it. I was going to make my T's. Find out who's going to mention VG Airway. He's up next. This is Carrie and Tommy. Carrie and Tommy, and it's time to slow down, switch off and unwind with VG Airways because the best time is VG, time feature. Airways.com. Someone should tell Noah that maybe he can. You know? It's like you're being yourself. Yeah. It is some party's day. Give us a, give us a well. Oh, where have I gone to it? Well, don't even ask me to do an X and I can't do an X. Top of the, top of the afternoon to you, Carrie.

For the morning to you. There you go. There she is. That Darshi blows. That Darshi blows. That Darshi blows. And nobody knows who he is. Or what be his name? No, Saint Patrick. I'm a pirate. I don't reckon where he is. I'm a pirate. Maybe I've turned into a pirate. They're not too dissimilar to the X. There is a gorgeous musical allilt to the Irish accent that I think differentiates it from the Scottish accent and it's lovely and soft on the ears. What did you do to celebrate some Patrick's day today, Carrie? To be fair, I didn't even know it was some Patty's day until I got in here. I know. Do you wear it? Last for us. Your dress is a four-leaf clover. You wear it so much. No, that's just my Tuesday gear. Tuesday kit. So you didn't try and split the G. You didn't have a Guinness. Wow, that's a split the G. Oh, what does that even mean? I mean, one sip of a Guinness pint and you're trying to get it to stop halfway through the G on the Guinness. Oh. Everyone's doing it.

Yeah, good marketing tactic by Guinness. You didn't even try the Irish food we got. We got, is a quarter fry up bag. Spice bag. Spice bag. Which was rice, gravy. Fried chicken. Fried chicken and chips. And curry sauce. Curry sauce. Curry sauce. That's right, not gravy. Curry sauce. It still keeps out there, if you want it. It's cooked now. I'm okay. As producer Kim Ford out. Oh, I did you. And by out, he means it is gobb. As you're in called it, brown food. It is just a thick plate of all-brown food. Yeah. What is your understanding of some Patrick's Day? It's about a saint called Patrick. Do you know about, because I actually don't know. I don't know. No. Jesse bought up. And excuse for men at lunch to go have drink Guinness. You don't reckon women drink Guinness? No, they do drink Guinness. But I'm just saying, when you drive through the city, it's just a whole lot of men in suits drinking Guinness at lunch time. Is it? Well, it was today. Nah. I just saw more men in suits than we're in.

See what you're looking for. Yeah. It's very true. I don't really like a man in suit. I like a woman in a suit. Yeah, I like a woman in a suit. Hot. I like a man in suit to be commoner. Common. I get it in boys. I like a fairer man in tracky pants. Man in a suit. Do you have a leisure? No, I'm not sure. A pleasure. Not really active wear. How do you feel about men in suits? Just a slouch. A slouch. Men in tights. With no courtesy shorts over the top. Just so you really know what you're buying before you have to lay down your money. I like an oversized teen. Some trackies I like. You know, like slouch wear. But not on a slouch. This is what I find out. This is what I find often ironic about it. Whenever a slouch is wearing slouch wear. Women are like, oh, yuck. No, I don't want it to be a slob. I want him to pay a pretend slouch. Yeah. That perfectly curated slob look. Just so you bought off something earlier in our meeting about becoming a saint and what one has to do.

You have to perform two miracles. Yeah. And what were St Patrick's miracles to get Don the saint was driving. Oh, he actually had quite a few. But one of them was driving all of the snakes out of Ireland. And then I. Did you achieve that? He did apparently. Yeah. And then the other one was raising 33 people from the dead. And that's kind of one miracle. Yeah, unfortunately. That's hard. It was hard. One job. I mean, you know, you did the pirate accent earlier. He, St Patrick was actually kidnapped by pirates when he was younger. And then that's how he ended up in Ireland. I don't know him. That'd be a long time ago, long before my family be on the sea. Do you think most Patrick's are named like have some Irish in their family or something? I reckon it's. Oh, I was going to say I would assume that he's quite common, but I don't know. But it's interesting you bring it up, Carrie, because I would love to find our most saintly Patrick. Oh, we're going to meet one that's raised 33 people from the dead.

But these can be modern day miracles. Okay. Do you think how easily night hoards get handed out these days? No. No, Andrew. No, who got one fill it? I think they've all got them done. I'll do that. Yeah. Tony Abbott. Tony Abbott. Yes. He's got a night hoard. Yes. I would love to know on 13th, 1060, because your name needs to be Patrick. That is the first thing. Well, except Patricia's also. And you need to have performed two miracles. Your how you take the term miracle and apply it to your modern day life is up to you. You just have to plead your case to it to us. And we would decide if it is your Saint Patrick's day today. Patrick's, we want to hear from you and your modern day miracles. What if your miracle is being able to convince us that you're a Patrick? That is a ding ding ding in my book. 13, 1060, Patrick's. We want to hear from you and your modern day miracles. Give us call. We need Patrick's. What's happened?

No, 1060. It's called. We've got a mirror. It's called in a tummy. Oh, there's one Patrick. What's happened to him? We've just answered him. So we'll get through him shortly. Patrick. I get it. You don't need to buzz on all the time. You asked a question. It's the theatre. I think we need to turn off his mark. He's talking way too much. I'll happily stop talking. No one asked you to. I know. You need to fill the air. No, we don't. I'm just going to step in here because this is feeling a bit real. It's some Patrick's day. Oh, my God. That's weird. Why do we have his mic permanently on? Don't look at me like I'm not here. That was a statement. Again, not a question. Hello, Saint Patrick's day. Let's celebrate the Patrick's and find the most saintly Patrick. So if you're a Patrick and you perform two modern day miracles, we need to hear from you. Give us a call in 1060 K. What's the closest thing to a modern day miracle you performed? You've nearly cured brain cancer. I reckon raising three children, getting one to 18 is a modern day miracle.

You said it like I said it in the salt to you. No, but I haven't really done that. The medical researchers are doing that. I'm not going to claim that. I think that's a bit rough to claim that. I would say one of your modern day miracles is shutting down compliments pretty hard. Get a tummy. Hi. How are you? I'm good. Thanks. I'm obviously not Patrick or Patricia, but my mom is Patricia. We were told, Tammy, that you're a kid. I don't know. They said Tammy's a kid. It was the man who's microphones on, but he's choosing not to talk. The miracle. I'm sure you are a child, just an adult child, Tammy. I am. And actually, it's got to do with children. Okay. So my mom is Patricia to birthday today. Happy birthday. She's an absolute saint. She helps me with my kids endlessly. And her two miracles are that she is the hard rubbish queen.

Anything that you need, she can conjure up within a week. Oh, wow. So she's got this particular talent, which is unrivaled. And just the fact that she's so helpful. She's just unrivaled in her ability to help. It feels like, Tammy, I love it. But it feels like one miracle that you've kind of worded out. You fluffed out into two. I kind of just thought we needed one. And then I heard you say two. And I was like, how are we going to make this thing? What is she conjured, Tammy? Well, anything you need, like she finds the most amazing stuff in hard rubbish. Like I judged her heavily for years. And then I've come around. Is your whole house now from hard rubbish? Well, everything my children own at her house is basically from hard rubbish. And I used to, I used to propel it. And I used to judge her. And now I have turned a corner. And I salute her. Well, happy that they Patricia. Yes, happy birthday, Patricia. Tammy, I've got a question for you in relation to hard rubbish. You know how some councils now are bringing in your two collections

a year instead of having the one day that it all goes out on. Are you scared? That's what we've got. Are you scared that it's going to be the death of hard rubbish pilfering amongst the community because there's no other one uniform day? No, we've had that for ages. And she just, she manages anyway. I don't know how she does it. We've had that rule for so long. Here's a suggestion, or sorry, I'm suggesting something which you're very welcome to refute. But is there a chance that Patricia is just a burglar? Well, if she is, then she's doing a great job. There's no one's caught on. So how are two of her? That could be her second miracle. Yes, she's a burglar that's never caught. St. Burglar. Thank you, Tammy. We really appreciate it. Who you got picked? I think I've got Michelle. Not a Patrick though. Hi, Michelle. Hi, Carrie. How are you? Happy St. Patrick's Day. Ah, top of the morning to you. Ah, better morning. I have a great story for you.

But it's about my son Patrick. One, okay. So he's he's born out. He's named after my grandfather, Patio Dowd, who was born on some Patrick's Day, and a father to 12 children, which is a story in itself. Wow. But about about two weeks ago, so I work at a secondary school at a proud state school. And we had done our anaphylaxis training. As we do, he works at my school as education support. He went to the gym. He's a Patrick. He's my son. Oh, sorry. Your son Patrick works at your school. Hi, son Patrick works at my school. Doing anaphylaxis training. Yeah. So, uh, so he done the, he was, he works as education support. So in the classroom helping him. Mm hmm. He had, has staff member done the anaphylaxis training. Mm hmm. That night he went out with one of these mates to the gym. And after the gym, they went to have something to eat. And usually, uh, Charles checks all the, the stuff,

but he didn't check this time. And he said, Pat, I don't feel too good. And he said, um, Patrick, I think I was, mate, this is, this has got pad time. I think this has had nuts. So because he done his training. Sorry, Michelle. I just need it. When you say it's got pad time. It was a bad diet. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. So it had nuts in it. He was anaphylactic and your son saved the day. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So they were at the Coleson Alston Week and he looked on his phone and went, I've got eight minutes to get either to the hospital or call an ambulance, because he didn't have his epi pen on him. Yeah. So he got in the, put him in the car, called triple zero on the way. By the time he'd got him to the hospital, or his airways had closed. Oh. And the doctor said, if it wasn't for your really quick thinking and the training that you had, you might would have been dead. So that's one miracle. Has he done anything else?

Well, he's actually, he has. He has been, he's trying to be an umpire, a VFL umpire, which is pretty cool. And yeah. He's proud of him. Good on, good on you, Michelle. That was an awesome Michelle. That was a wonderful story. Breathe to the point. Bang. Does that we like it? This is Carrie and Tommy. Carrie Bickmore. And Tommy Little. Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little. My first geek went a little like this. Carrie and Tommy's. My first time. In the back of the car headed to my set, running through my choke. Fuck up up, Tommy. Got my food on the stage, with a muck in my hand. Baby, this isn't it. Celebrate 40 years of funny, and Australia's biggest laugh fest, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. The only way you can get tickets is at Carrie and Tommy. .com.au. So head there. Wow. Some embarrassing moments are going to be head up on that stage for sure. Moments where you want to crawl up inside yourself and disappear. I had one of those moments, and I'm going to tell you about it next. This is Carrie and Tommy. Listen to Carrie and Tommy live on the listener app. Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little. So to paint the picture I need to describe what I was wearing. The classic Carrie Bickmore radio, where the gone of the days when you can ask. So you just lean into it. Guys, here's what I was wearing. No, I've got to pack the picture because I've tried. I've tried to add some cooler pieces to my wardrobe because

it's not big enough. You haven't got enough. No, I felt like I was wearing like daggy clothes. And so I've tried to cool up my wardrobe a bit. The first thing I... The first thing I... The first thing I... The first thing I... The first thing I did was I've started wearing real oversized trackies. Like I could fit families inside of them. Like they're real wide leg. Looks like I'm going to break dance at any moment in time, trackies. Yep. And with matching, with a matching... Yes. I love... I've also started and I'll wear them out. So I'll take my kids to all their sports on the weekend. With my oversized trackie on. And everyone's asking Evie, who's your sister and what's she competing? No. When she's going to sub in. Yeah. I've also started wearing... I think it was actually in fashion last year, but I was a bit late to it. They're slides, but they've got fur on top. Not real fur. Calm down, everybody. Just fake fur on top. So I'm wearing my oversized trackies.

And then slides with big furry bits on the front. Yeah. Anyway. That is cool. It sounds like you could be part of like a rap group. Yeah. Sounds like I don't look like that, though. I look like a tryhard mum that's trying to look cool. Like these mums. I know mums that could put that on. I know one in particular. She's so hot. And every time I see her, I do often steal her style. And then I rock up at the gym, we're in the same thing. And it's like, you know, what's that? The Booparads. It's like the Booparads. There's her. Yeah. Be the better version of yourself. Anyway, was that my daughter's basketball the other day? And she needed a water filter. But the game was going on. It was quite hectic. And so all eyes were on the court. But to get to the water, I had to kind of go cut off the corner of the court. And so I thought I'd go real quickly across the court to get to get the water. Across the court. Well, not across the court. Across the very corner. Like the very court. Not like not in the middle of the game. But because I had my oversized trackies and my big fluffy sights on,

I tripped. Right? On. I tripped on the court. Right? Which is not raised. You just hit the ground. You tripped on the ground. I just tripped on myself. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And I knew everyone, because it was already, I was already a bit of a target, because they're really little kids playing. And then there's a big grown-out of it with a wide leg pants. On the court. And it's fluffy things on the court. Anyway, so then I was mortified and wanted to like run away in my oversized pants. So then I was like, how embarrassing. And then I walked two more steps and I tripped together. And then you touched ground both times. Like a view going on. No, the first time I touched ground, the second time I caught myself, because my body was in muscle memory. And then I went to get the water, filled it up. And then I decided just to walk calmly back, because I didn't want to trip again. But I was by then aware of keeping my feet off the ground when I walked. And so I must have looked like this slow walk where I was clip-clopping. And I didn't ask anyone if they saw anything,

but then the next day I saw the same parents, or later that afternoon in another basketball game. And I threw in casually like when I tripped before and like three and then went, we saw that. And I was like, I kind of thought maybe I got away with it. No, I didn't. And I just, I think tripping is such a small thing, but it's one of the most embarrassing, why is it one of the most embarrassing things you can do? Like it really, we all do it. Yeah, but none of us are able to do it. Yeah, but is it because we look clumsy or something? It's because it's people falling over is funny. But even just a little trip is embarrassing. Because you don't even have to fall to you to be mortified by a tiny little trip. It's funny. I'll never forget a trip that I had because I was running. And this would now be, I reckon I was 25, and I was running down near the beach. And there was like, you know how on the side of parts is sometimes those chains that connect the bowels. Oh, yeah. There was a cute girl walking along. And in my juvenile head, I thought this, I thought,

she'll think it's sick if I jump this long. That'll be the start of the rest of our lives together. And you fall in love with him. Oh, when I saw him jump that chain. You go, Oi, I jump out. Where are you running to? I have a chap big boy. And as I jumped, my front foot cleared it. And I was free. I was ready to go. And then, before I knew it, my face was heading at a raperated horse ground. Because even though my front foot had clipped it, and I was already planning our engagement, my back foot clipped the top of the chain and got caught, like, pushed my leg up with it. And so then I just, and I didn't, you know how sometimes when you hit the ground, you roll or you continue the forward momentum, I just fell into the grass and I just stopped dead. It was like, if I got up and it was a cartoon, there would have been an outline of me in the dirt of where I landed.

13, 1060. I want to talk trips. Yeah, great. There's small little things, but when did you trip over in front of a big group of people or in a very embarrassing situation? Give us a call. 13, 1060. Let's carry big more on Tommy Little. We're talking embarrassing trips, I was in my oversized trackie with my fluffy slides on, trying to look cool, and I tripped over twice on a basketball court, and while the kids were playing basketball in a game, I couldn't walk, tripped, and then wanted to crawl up inside myself, and then tripped again just for extra effect. Kate. What's up, guys? What's up, Kate? What's up? What's up? Tell us about your embarrassing trip. So just but recently had a, was that the netball center in Melbourne, and my daughter had the state titles there for netball, and we were being tricky parents in going up the stairways to get to courts quicker. And one of the dads said, as we get, we're going down the stairs, going to anyone trip, I get to the bottom lot of the stairs,

bottom step, and trip off it, go flying across, and I'm the team manager. So I had a thing in my hand, like a box, and flew like these kids, like, oh my god, you all right? And I didn't crash, and I didn't headbutt the wall, so that was all right. Oh, I know. We mean, Kate, how far did you send the box of stuff flying? I actually still held onto it. I was very surprised. Well done. That's your netball skills there, held onto the ball. Good on you, Kate. Thank you very much, because it was great, but I don't feel like it was embarrassing enough. No, let's see if Monique can top it. Monique, tell us you're embarrassing trip. Oh my god, I'm a clumsy, bridesmaid over here. I was doing the entrance to my cousin's wedding down a very big staircase at a reception. And the groomsman and I had even laughed about it before saying, that's not true, that's not true. And I'm walking down the stairs and stuck it in the middle. Thankfully, he caught me, but this was in front of about 300 people,

and everyone kind of went, and then as I proceeded to go into the flat ground, I kind of stuck it a little bit again, and so there's a boat of my ankle going about 45 degrees, the wrong way. That was the first wedding, and then my brother's wedding, I didn't, bridesmaid again, didn't even see the hole behind the stage between the stage and the wall, where the bridal table is, and I actually like fell in it. Oh my god. That's my whole leg. So, yeah, not great. Did everyone see the fall in the hole? That didn't see the fall in the hole, but it's like a cartoon, like my head literally just disappears when I just went into the ground. But everyone saw the bandage after, and I was just dancing the whole night for getting that there was any pain and scratches. Have you got any more bridesmaids duties in the horizon? Not in the horizon. I think I'm about to be retired soon. Yeah. Thank you, Manique. We got Mary. Get a marry. Hi. How are you going? Yeah.

When I was a police officer, and it was a test match against Australia and New Zealand and back when the late Shane Warn was playing, and so just before drinks, we had to, there was a group of three of us, and we had to go on to the ground just before drinks, and it was at the great southern stand. Yeah. And I'm walking towards the boundary, and I wanted to look good. So I wanted to jump over and do a bit of a flick, and my shoelace got caught on the top of the pick of it. Oh. And I got slammed over, and I got caught, and I was hanging off the little bamboo. And one of the two guys on each side had to pull me up to the roar of the great southern stand. Oh, my God. And I guess just to top it off, it was really good, and then about 10 minutes later we did get an intruder, go on to the ground during drinks. I happened to do this best rugby tackle, and Shane Warn was actually standing about five metres away from me

and gave me a wink in the thumbs up. Oh, good on you, Mary. It's a wonderful day, yes. I love it so much, Mary. Thank you. Get a jack. How are you? What happened, Jack? Tell us about your embarrassing trip. About 10 years ago, I was on a cruise around the Pacific Islands with my family, and I was a bit self-conscious, and I didn't like people looking at me, and we were up on the top deck watching the wave rider, like the surf ride. And my family were trying to peer pressure me to have a go, and I'd just, no, no, I'm not going on there if I fall off, I'll embarrass myself. And anyway, so as they finally gave up... Jack, the wave rider thing is like the fake wave, but you stand on the board and kind of surf. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's someone. So anyway, as they finally gave up on me, I took a step down off the stairs where we were watching, and the floor being wet, I have gone head over heels, and crashed onto the ground. And just to embarrass me even more,

they stopped the wave rider, stopped the music, and the guy over the speaker has called out, are you on the ground over there? Like are you okay? And everybody has turned around and lost. So I should have just gone on the road. How was the rest of the cruise from the confine of your own cabin? Yeah, it was all right. I was out of eyes. This is Carrie and Tommy. Listen to Carrie and Tommy live on the listener app. Yeah, that is where you're at for your Tuesday afternoon, but you can catch a little bit more of one Mr. Thomas Little. Where are you? What are you doing? I'll be doing some live, stand up my new show, Namaste, the F away from me, is hitting cans this weekend. Oh, beautiful part of the world. There's a few tickets left, comedy.com.au. I would love to see you there. What's happening next? Up next. It's, you know how you often hear about dogs, particularly when their puppies, they might choose something. And often it's a couch, someone like this, you know. It's just a bit of a playful fun.

I think this is the most expensive dog chewing a item that I've ever come across. And we're going to talk about it next. This is Carrie and Tommy. Of course, we have a team of legends that have put together this show on the pot and pans is none other than the mount. Hello, mount. Hello, how are we? And people that don't know what pots and pans means. He makes the sound. Yes, he makes all the audio stuff on our shows. On the ones and twos. On the wheels of steel. Yeah, basically. They call me the grandma's to flash. That's basically it. Yes. And you have a gorgeous dog. Where's your dog's name? Lenny. Yes. And Lenny, for those who don't know what type of dog. Spoodle. But a lot of people wonder why he looks like Alf the alien from the 80s company. Does he? He's not curly at all. He's a straight hair Spoodle, which is very rare. Right. Very rare. You say that like you export the corners of the globe and found this rare exotic animal. No, he was thrust upon me. In a hectic way.

Yes. So a rescue of sorts. Yeah, basically. Yes. As we all described, you know, in various different ways. And your dog ate something. Lenny chewed something. Yeah. Can you tell the people what it was? So I have sleep apnea because, you know, genetics. Anyway, I went from a CPAP to this revolutionary mouthguard. So the CPAP's the full machine. Yeah. It's connected to your nose. It was like, I couldn't sleep with it. And then I got this mouthguard that was 3D printed to keep my jaw like forward so it doesn't collapse. Okay. That was amazing. And then my dog chewed it in half. Oh, no. No. So I haven't slept for like a year till it's expensive. Till Carrie, how much? Oh, I hang on. I carry. Have a get. I know. But have a get. So I've done, I've done like invisalign before and stuff. I reckon we're talking like 10 grand or something. 10 grand.

What is the danger of this? I know. 10 grand. 10,000 dollars. I don't know. I figure if it's not something everybody's doing. How much was your invisalign? Over the course of the whole treatment. Sorry. I got a spawn con. What was it now? Carrie's working out how many posts she had to do. And what the monetary value of those posts was. But I think it's changed over time. How much it cost? This is a long time ago. You've overshadowed. Really deflated the impact. Yeah. Was it $500? That's $4,000. That's still a huge amount for I was going. Yeah. Yeah. I asked Mount. I said, can they just now, because they've done all the scams. Yeah. Oh, can they just bring you another one? Bring to another one. It won't cost the same. Yeah. So I called them. I go, hey, you know, I've got all the scams and everything. And they said, actually, we don't use the same company anymore. We've got another company. So now you need to get all the scams again. So it's another $4,000. So what are you doing now? Just snoring.

Just sleeping really badly. Yeah. Oh my god. Put your thing back on. It's just a hassle. What was causing you most of the hassle? Was it for the person in the bed with you or for you? It's a bit of everything, really. Yeah. Because I have actually, I don't mean this as a joke. I do mean this quite genuinely. I often think if you were new dating someone and you actually genuinely have to sleep with your sleep apnea mask thing. Yeah. It must actually be quite like, you must quite, well, you know, everything you feel quite self conscious. Oh, big time. Yeah. So either just, I've said to a girl before, if I sound like I'm dying, I'll be fine. Just like that. Oh, cut to the next day when it's like the middle of the day, not even bad. And you just start joking on something. Yeah. And she goes, he's told. Maybe he's fine. He's fine. Yeah. It's like when you sleep next to someone that like has sleep issues and they go, and then they hold their breath and you're like, are they dying? And then about 20 seconds later, they go, which I think he's maybe a form of sleep apnea, isn't it? Yeah. Well, all of us apart from two in this room have done a sleep study

before, and I think it was my minute and a minute point, like minute and 20 seconds was the biggest time I didn't bring. What? Oh, you're doing Wim Hof. And I was doing, yeah. And I got 19 minutes of REM sleep all together. So like, if it's like in a chunk of sleep, there was deep sleep. No, no, no. It's like deep sleep in the whole like six or seven hours of sleep. 19 minutes in total of actual sleep I got. It's not. Well, that's mouth guards. I'm doing pretty well. So you want to know what's the most expensive thing that your dog ruined? Yeah. Because I will tell you that it's actually not that expensive. No, that is ridiculous. That is a huge amount. Yeah. Is there someone to ring in and go, the dog tube my couch and carry I'll go, that's worth 200,000. No. You asked me, I didn't offer it up. 13, 10, 60. What's the most expensive thing your pet has ruined? And we are talking about the most expensive thing your pet has destroyed. Because our man, our digital man, our digital man, our audio man,

the mount has a sleep apnea mount guard that costs $4,000 and was chewed by his dog Lenny. I can't believe it, Carrie. Have you seen what we've got on the phone? We've got another Carrie. Hey, Carrie. Hi, how you going? I don't meet many Carrie's. Do you? No. Are you a Caroline? No. No, neither am I. No. Do you know who... Just straight, Carrie. Do you know who you were named after? Probably a relative. Yeah, okay. Because you were named after the horror film. No, no, don't do scary movies. Picks are all the way. Okay, fair enough. What did you pet to destroy? So my cat, Gilbert, after a very long night at the hospital, I got home about five in the morning and I took my hearing aids out and put them on my jewelry box. Oh. And he was about one at the time and jumped up on the jewelry box. I'd gone to bed and I woke up in a couple hours later and he had gotten my hearing aid

and chewed a five and a half thousand dollar hearing aid and destroyed it. Oh, my God. The irony being that you couldn't hear any of it happening. All right. So you said the sort of thing you can claim on insurance, Carrie? Not a chance. Oh, my God. Carrie was Gilbert, okay? He survived that trauma, yes. He's brother Sullivan took him far, far away from me because I was quite cross, yes. Okay. Sullivan and Gilbert. Yes. My name is... Yes. Our producers ask you, is Gilbert still alive? No, we lost both of them to cancer two years ago. We were in six months of each other, yeah. Why did our producer ask that question? I could tell from Carrie's tone. But Gilbert wasn't... Yeah. Oh, I'm sorry. I think he comes up on Facebook every time. So, yeah, it's a fun memory. Okay. Good on you. Thank you, Carrie. All right. Get a Simon. Good day, gang. How are we doing? Yeah, we're living the dream. What did your pet destroy? Overall, it's just one item.

Let's start with the most expensive. The most expensive was a $7,900 television. What? Which part of the TV are the chords at the back or something? Now, we'll firstly yanked it off the table it was on. It was actually a cabinet that was about four feet high. Oh, my God. So, the impact probably wouldn't have helped, but then he decided to choose a back of the television out with a chord and all the other little bits and bobs. But it sort of looked like a bomb had gone off in the land room. Lucky he didn't get squashed when it fell on him. Like, fell down. I don't know, is it German Shepherd? So, he's probably angry after it hit him. Yes. So, what's his name? What's German Shepherd's name? Benji, but I normally nicknamed him Blitzkrieg. Blitzkrieg? Blitzkrieg. Yeah. I think well. The level of damage he's done through the house is about 50k.

Oh, 50k. 50k. Wow. Wow. It'd be... And I even locked the door to keep him out of the house. And he actually chewed through it and destroyed a $5,800 couch. I had for three days. Oh. Benji would be a great guard dog, though. If he's not upside down wanting a tummy rope. Yeah. Thank you, Simon. What about Carrie? We've got a Carrie and now a Carrie. Hey, Carrie. Hi, Carrie. How are you? Yeah, very good. What's the most expensive thing you've hit through? Well, we're actually our family pit when I was a child. And my dad was chewing a caramel one day and he's got a mouth full of gold fillings back then they used to put them in all the time. Anyway, phone call came and this caramel has pulled my dad's filling out. So he put it on the coffee table to answer the phone and the dogs come along and gathered up the caramel along with the filling and, you know, in that.

And the funny thing about it is that dad followed that dog around for days afterwards. And it is now, well, he's passed away. But he went back into it. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Hold on. He put it back in and he took it to a dentist and they cleaned it. You went back to his dentist. Oh, my God. I genuinely, but yeah, it was so funny. The poor dog was so paranoid every time dad came up around him the next few days. It was like, what are you doing? What are you watching me for? It's so funny. These fillings. Yeah. They were just pure gold. And they said, when my dad passed away, I wanted to get his mouth, but that never happened. I know right now the price of gold, that would have been you would have been better than getting the house. Yeah, absolutely. So. This is Carrie and Tommy. Carrie Vickmore. And Tommy Little. Take, take, take, take, take Tommy.

Take the sunshine time. It's a quiz about music. We find out who knows it. So let's start with the questions. Who's glad you're seated. Come on, build some tension. Use your ears for the music quiz. Okay. Send the music. Use your ears for the music quiz. I love that little tingle. Use your ears for the music quiz. Does it make you want to use your ears for the music quiz? Are you ready? I'm ready. Carrie, your theme for today is St. Patties Day. I don't know anything about St. Patties Day. That is a quiz attitude. All right. I will tell you again. Carrie, your theme. We're doing a lot of St. Patrick's Day for something that neither of us really get into. Excuse me, but my Irish roots are offended. I offended Patrick and Australia earlier on. We've got a whole lot of music coming up. We've really St. Patties this show. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Isn't that wonderful? I think. Is that what the people want?

Yeah. Have you not seen them out today drinking their green beers? Do you actually drink green beer? Oh, yeah. Like what is the green beer? Just flavoured beer. Greeners. Yes. It's a Guinness Off Shoot. It's called Greeners. And you've been smoking a bit over. To celebrate. To get in the spirit of the green. Carrie. Give me the first question. Greened out, Carrie. Give me the first question. That was the first question as read off the sheet. Have you ever greened out? See a bit more. I don't mind getting into my garden every now and then, but no. I'm a bit of a green thumb. I've never greened out. From all the. Question number two. I Irishman Nile Horan rose to fame. What is it? Just all of it. It hasn't been the first time I've been told that. Won't be the last. Offer ducks back. Quiet, quiet. Here we go. Nile Horan rose to fame as a member of one direction before

launching his solo career. What TV talent show did you audition for in 2010? Where the band was then formed? Britain's Got Talent. Incorrect. We do like another go. America's Got Talent. Incorrect. We do like another go. Britain's the voice. Incorrect. We do like another go. Britain's the extractor. Oh, that was correct. Sorry for some habit. I'm sorry. Used to it. Question number three. Which Irish band has won more Grammy Awards than any other? Not just. You two. Do you want to hint? You two? No. I'm not in the quiz. Would you like a hint? Yes. You two. You two. You didn't need the hint. You should have backed yourself in, Harry. You'd had a bit more confidence in your answer. I should have. I should have. No, it was my friend's friend that nannyed for them. And then we knew a guy from work that nannyed for them. Didn't we? That was sting. No, so it must have been my friend's friend nannyed for you two. Your friend. That was sting. No, it must have been my friend's friend nannyed for you two.

Your friend's friend? Yes, because my friend is obsessed with bono, and so she kept trying to use her friend to meet him. Hmm. Any other cool story? Before we go on to the next question. Do you remember though the friend of ours? Sorry, I keep calling him a friend. But the friend, he's more a friend of yours that was Sting's nanny. Do you remember he told Sting that he could play the piano? Yes. This is a true story. He told Sting that he could play the piano when he tried to get the job. But he couldn't play the piano. And then one night Sting was playing the piano and said to the nanny guy, come join me. And he didn't know what to do because he couldn't play the piano. Do you remember when you found out he was Sting's nanny? And you came into the radio show and you're like, I've got Sting's nanny, and he's going to give us all these sting stories. And then I kind of had alarm bells in my head because he's always been very private because he had deep affection for Sting and the way that Sting looked after him over the years that he was with him. And then he cornered me in the office sweating profusely. And he said, Brian, I can't tell any sting stories. And I went, I don't think it's going to happen.

And then you came in the next day and you went, we're getting Sting stories today. But was that story that I just said true? Absolutely. Yeah. You read for question number four. Yeah. Irish singer. Sanito Connor has a global, yes, I know, with nothing compares. Don't be disrespectful. Is it disrespectful? Is it disrespectful? To call us a need. Oh, I think it was passed away. Yeah. Isn't that all the more reason you can say, anyway, I'm actually a big fan. I love to reactivism. Nothing compares to you. Let's see how that goes. Nothing compares. Okay, proving nothing does compare to the actual voice. Nothing compares to you. I used to sing that song so much. We should do that. The song was originally written by which artist. Sorry, we're going to need some kind of noise. Not even an answer. I was singing the rest of the song. Oh, sorry. Boy, you got to do that. I have no idea. Wasn't queen.

Yeah. Mother royalty though. Yeah. Not a king. Princess. Oh, so much. Prince. There you go. Oh. Oh, no. Oh, no. Sorry, Prince. Sorry, just back on this neat thing. Are you never tempted when you meet someone called Chouvourne? In your head, you go to a side band? In my head, but not to them. I don't go. Hey, side band. I didn't do it to Shenato Conor. I know, but she's dead. What's that mean? Do the last question. The last question. I know the last one. The next one. The next one. This one is a stretch, if I've ever heard one. Legendary Irish band The Cranberries released one of the most powerful protest songs of the 90s with Zombe. Zombe. Zombe. Zombe. Zombe. Hey. Hey. Hey. Oh. Oh. I think it's actually a bit disrespectful when you sing it and it sounds a bit off.

Harry. These are all songs for my childhood. Well, other bands that are named after foods include meatloaf, salt and pepper, and the red hot chili peppers. So finish these chili peppers of lyrics. Over to you. I don't know. Choose not alive of imitation over to you. I don't know. It's not their most popular one. I like it, but it's not like I knew all the lyrics to that one. Can't stop wood. I reckon I was out of my chili peppers era, but it would be one of their biggest songs. I would have thought it'd be their biggest like guitar. No. That's because all people like us go under the bridge and stuff like that. And I reckon it would be one of their biggest songs of all time. Okay. Well, I don't know the lyrics. Choose not alive of imitation over to you. Happy St. Patrick's Day. Everybody. This is Carrie and Tommy. I don't know which little issue to bring up first. They're not even issues. They're observations from my weekend away last weekend and staying in a hotel.

Okay. Do you ever had your Uber Eats delivered to you via walking? Yes. I'll have you. Yes. Once. But it shows that they're riding. It shows that they're riding. I've also had one that was on a razor scooter. And it was like six kilometers. And they get the same thing. It showed it was on a bike. And he got there. And he was literally, it took 40 minutes and he was covered in sweat. He was just like, he was just like, I feel like giving him the food. I'm like, bro, you are depleted. Well, because we watched, we ordered room service now. I don't think hotels want you to order room service. Because when you go on, it says minimum weights an hour and a half. Do you want to lock in at a time? And I'm like, we just want it like now or as soon as you. So we ordered Uber Eats and we ordered Hungry Jacks. And we were waiting. I was watching my whopper as it went around the streets. And I, because we were staying near a shopping center, I think they just got it from inside the shopping center, not from a Hungry Jacks somewhere. And it seemed sort of almost looked like he was shopping.

Obviously. But then I was like, how's he on a bike? And then I was like, why is he taking so long? And we watched the route. And then a couple of times he doubled back. And anyway, 45 minutes later, this guy arrived up the hill, puffing. And I was like, where's his bike? And then I said to Evie, my daughter, I think he walked. Yeah. The food was so cold. Yeah. And I was like, why are we doing this? Yeah. Why do we, I know we're lazy, but why do we keep doing this? You know the trap that we've also fallen for is using priority. Oh, it's never priority. I got priority the other night. And the dude literally stopped in a street for 15 minutes. Like I could see his car not moving. At the point where I messaged and said, are you broken down? You'd be such an ass, though. I took my food and I was like, thank you very much. Have a nice night. And you're all ready to nag them. Anyway, that was the first issue that I just thought was peculiar. So your laziness was the first one? Well, I did think because then I saw how far he had to walk, which was about 300 meters. I was like, I could have just walked and got the food.

But you were on holiday. Eating at home. Well, okay. So I was on holiday. So the other amazing thing, other than eating in bed, when you're a holiday that you look forward to. Because if room service is not really a thing that they want you to do anymore and they want you to go down to their restaurants, that's one thing removed from my experience that I love. I love room service in bed. But I just don't like, even in the morning when we went to get breakfast, it was a long delay if you wanted to like get breakfast. It was like a 50 minute wait. And I'm like, surely when people ring to get breakfast, they kind of want breakfast. Yeah. Yeah, I certainly don't plan ahead. No, no one does at a hotel because you plan and goes out the window and you just, you know, tell me. You know why I like room service? Because it's plain food that on the ground. Like it often comes with a mini, sometimes a mini tomato sauce, which I really like. And a little thing. Yeah. And I even like, even though you know what's under there, when the, the cross thing comes on top, I always said to myself, ooh, what have we got here? But I know what it is. But have you noticed, you would stay in hotels all the time.

All the time. Have you noticed something that you can no longer watch movies in hotel rooms anymore? So it's the third hotel I've noticed this ad that they no longer have movies as a selection on their TV. Really? I feel like they've all got, it's not Fox tell, but a version of that where there is like, all the sports channels, versions of. So you can watch free to air or you Chromecast, right? Yes. But now what's happening? So I had all this trouble, Chromecasting because I don't know. No way. You carry. Chromecasting. But I thought I'd nailed it. And then I called the guy and asked him to come up and help me. And he goes, oh, you're trying to Chromecast. That's the end. He goes Netflix has stopped you Chromecasting. Stan's has stopped you Chromecasting. I think it's Disney plus has stopped you Chromecasting. So you can't Chromecast. So then we couldn't watch anything that we had on the screen, but there was nothing to watch. So we were watching flicking through free to air. I think we watched. What's that big bang theory? Oh, I always got an ASPS food. That's why I had an EV with me though. I don't reckon she'd love Adam Liao. Well, we got, we went past the soccer and then she was like,

oh, that's the men's soccer boring. And I was like, yeah, the girls. And then we ended up watching six episodes of the big bang theory, eating our cold, uber eats. And I was like, this is not how the hotel experience used to be. Just one thing about that. You know how you said, like, we ended up watching the big bang theory. Like, it's something that's, you know, so far removed. Isn't the show that you watch all the time with your girls? When you can watch whatever you want. Yeah, children. Yeah, but it's different to big bang. Big bang's got a bit more like sexual innuendo. A daze. And I just don't think it's appropriate. And your girls who watch Maths aren't used to innuendo. I don't know. They're used to out and out. This is Carrie and Tommy. It's time for Big Mo's Bits. I'm going to tell you what makes you fart at the end of this bit. Oh. And it's something we can all stop doing to make us a little less flat shlin. Okay. Oh, as you burn. Oh, it's burping. That's what it is. No, I reckon. I mean, Carrie's been holding me in heart. No, I... Does that happen?

Anyway, I'm going to get to that later. First of all, smell your burp. I guess, stop it. That's disgusting. I want to talk about Kelly Clarkson. Obviously, one American Idol all those years ago. At the time, the winner of American Idol won $1 million plus a car. But she revealed on the Kelly Clarkson, who her own showed the other day. Oh, they got her as a guest. She saw neither. They were like, oh, you win a million dollars or whatever. No, you didn't. We lied. You did not. No, it was like a million dollars worth of investment in you. And then they said you get a car. I needed it because my car is bashed in. And I couldn't afford the deductible. And you know, I did not get a car. She didn't get the car. Well, the money. Yeah, that sucks. That sucks. Tell you something else, it sucked. Was the whole cold-play kiss cam thing. Remember when the CEO and HR lady from there, they were caught on camera having a kiss and the world lost their minds. They're all having an affair. Then they both lost their jobs.

Did they both lose their jobs? Yes, they both lost their jobs. Did they? Yes, which I find interesting now that we have some more details. So, Kristen, who was the woman involved, has done a... Oh, she stepped down, I think, as her role in HR. Okay. And he got five. I know. Yeah, HR. I don't know why, but I guess it adds a layer to it. Does it? Yeah, because she would have been the one that had to fire herself. Well, she stepped down, yes. Yeah. This is true. She's good people management, though. Good handling people, you know? Yes. Anyway, she has revealed to Oprah. She's done a tell-all. We're going to find out more about what went down in the tell-all tomorrow. But the promos come out. It's just he. You've been called a slut, a home record, a gold digger, a side piece, the usual tags for shaming women. This would be the only on-camera interview that you're planning to give. Why did you decide to be here today? So, it destroyed her life, and she wanted to have her chance to tell her side of the story. You've got to remember that that clip,

that kiss cam clip, was seen more than 300 billion times. Billion? Yes. Billion times. So, if you think about a pop... What would you call it? What do you call those moments? Like a moment, like a viral thing. Memorable moment. What do you call, why can't I think of the word? No, like just a pop culture. In the Zeitkirk. Yes, moment. There would be... I can't think of many more that would have topped 300 billion years. Doesn't that mean like every... How many times would it be? Well, some people would have watched it more than once. But doesn't mean that everybody on the planet has watched it like 20 times, doesn't it? I mean, I've watched it at least 50. There are only like 20 billion people on the planet. What's what it says? More than 300 billion views. Why? Anyway, this is what she goes on to say. Neither of them were in relationships at the time. I did not know before the story that she was separated from her husband and that her boss was also separated

or said he was separated from his wife. So you get texted from one of your children? Yeah, my daughters. Let me know that my estranged husband was also at the concert. And in my mind, I thought, is this going to be weird if he sees me with Andy? But then it was like, I'm in Gillette Stadium. There's 55,000 people here. I'm probably not going to run into him. So he knew that there was a relationship there. Yes. So why did you step down? Because at the time, there was so much backlash for the company they worked for a astronomer that they didn't feel like they could stay in the position and double down and try and, you know, and I think the affair thing took off because that's what Chris Martin said when he said, when they, you know, they looked awkward and she ducked down behind him. Which I think was probably just a natural reaction because they don't need to start and see each other and they didn't necessarily assume the whole world would know about them. And he said, looks like there's an affair coming there. Yeah, because, but didn't the guys wife come out and say something? Well, it's interesting because I think she Oprah says then and he was separated or he said he was. Yeah. So we're maybe going to find out from this HR lady, Kristen,

that even she was fooled by his marriage dance. I don't know. But we'll find out more tomorrow. But I think as far as Oprah interviews go, this is a good one. Is it? I think so. If you're going to, if you're going to actually find out that the whole thing was not what it was because we've decided this woman was a Philandra for the rest of her life. And if she wasn't, then that's a horrible title that the 300 billion people in the world have given her. Sorry. I think I say is it because I wouldn't remember their names. I barely remember what it looks like. And I don't care. Like, it's in, it's in, I didn't really have a view on it. But don't you think you would care if it was you? Sure. Being labeled something that it wasn't? Sure. Yeah. Good for her though. Because obviously she doesn't have a job anymore and Oprah might have paid her pretty well. I'm assuming would have paid her pretty well. Also speaking, an event soon, which is like $1,000 a ticket. So I think she takes some money back. Yeah. But most importantly, the far. Oh, sorry, the far. Oh my god, the far carry. Chewing gum, make it far.

Stop chewing gum if you don't want to fart. I fart on. I eat gum all the time. Do you fart often? I do. Yes, because it's all to do with the gas that your stomach creates all this acid from the chewing motion. But there's no food going in. It's air. It's still working. It's still working down. It's a stock chewing gum. Have a mint instead. Oh my god, okay. It didn't trick you.
