郭智輝連忙解釋:「可能是我講話太快了，不是說每一個房間裝冷氣不好，而是在講說要節能，
因為用電雖然讓大家用的很舒服，我是希望沒有人的房間，冷氣要關掉，因為節能對我們有幫助。」
經濟部也對失言澄清表示，永續、穩定的供電，同時具有競爭力的電價，是經濟部的政策方向。
