Sk: Tam sa rozkladá trhovisko.
En: There lies the marketplace.
Sk: Je teplý letný deň a slnko svieti nad hlavami ľudí.
En: It is a warm summer day, and the sun shines above people's heads.
Sk: Koruny stromov sa mierne kývajú vo vetre a nad trhom visí vôňa čerstvého chleba a ovocia.
En: The crowns of the trees sway slightly in the breeze, and the scent of fresh bread and fruit hangs over the market.
Sk: Ľudia sa tlačia medzi stánkami, plnými farebných tkanín, košov a drevených hračiek.
En: People squeeze between stalls full of colorful fabrics, baskets, and wooden toys.
Sk: Marek, mladý roľník s neobyčajným talentom na rezbárstvo, stojí pri svojom skromnom stánku.

En: A few days later, a man in rich clothing approaches Marek's stall.
Sk: Ján, obchodník z mesta.
En: Ján, a merchant from the city.
Sk: Pristúpil k Marekovi s úsmevom: „Počul som o tvojich krásnych rezbách od Petry.
En: He approaches Marek with a smile: "I heard about your beautiful carvings from Petra.
Sk: Rád by som ich videl zblízka.
En: I'd love to see them up close."
Sk: “Keď si Ján starostlivo prehliadne každú figúrku, pokýva hlavou s uznaním.
En: When Ján carefully examines each figurine, he nods in appreciation.
Sk: „Máš v sebe veľký talent, Marek.
En: "You have great talent, Marek.
Sk: Rád by som ťa vzal so sebou do mesta.
En: I'd like to take you with me to the city.
Sk: Máme tam majstra, ktorý by rád prijal takého oddaného učňa.
En: We have a master there who would love to take on such a dedicated apprentice."
Sk: “Marek nevie uveriť svojmu šťastiu.
En: Marek cannot believe his luck.
Sk: Jeho srdce je plné radosti a očí sú lesknúce sa očakávaním veľkých vecí.
En: His heart is full of joy, and his eyes are shining with the anticipation of great things.
Sk: Rozhoduje sa okamžite a súhlasí s ponukou.
En: He decides immediately and agrees to the offer.
Sk: Keď Marek balí svoje veci, jeho myšlienky sú plné nádeje a vďačnosti.

Sk: Odišiel nielen s príležitosťou, ale aj so sebavedomím a uvedomením si, akú moc má láskavosť a pomoc jeden druhému.
