Pleaded guilty to obstructing Congress, sentenced to 41 months in prison back in November 2021. Fast forward, he served about 27 months before good behavior got him out early. Prison was rough, he says, but the judge called his courtroom apology the most sincere and 34 years on the bench. Then, on Trump's first day back in office, January 20th, 2025, Chansley was one of 1,500 January 6th folks granted full. Clemency in a big pardon wave. These days in Arizona, he's still practicing as a Shaman and insists he wasn't yelling that day. He was singing a spiritual song to cleanse energy. 1:03but now he's stepping back from the spotlight that put him there. Lately, he's turned against Trump, calling politics toxic, and the former President a liar tied to shady stuff. Showed up at a protest with anti-epstine signs, talking about ditching the drama, he's even filed a massive $40 trillion lawsuit against the President, IMF, and others, claiming surveillance and war profiteering. Wow, declaring himself head of a new republic. Chansley's pushing a book called Shamanic Apocalypse, pitching an evolution of consciousness over wars or revolutions.
