This teaching argues that the Protestant Reformation failed to restore true biblical Christianity because it did not return to the New Covenant model revealed in Jeremiah 31:31, where God promises a covenant made with Israel that is entered by new birth rather than by birth into a state or church system; the speaker emphasizes that Scripture teaches God’s covenants belong to Israel (Romans 9:4), that Christ’s kingdom is not political or earthly (John 18:36), that entry into God’s people requires being born again (John 3:3–7), and that attempts to place believers back under law-based religion contradict apostolic teaching in Galatians; furthermore, the misuse of Jesus’ parable of the wheat and the tares (Matthew 13:24–30, 36–43) is criticized, noting that Jesus said “the field is the world,” not the church, reinforcing the argument that mixing believers and unbelievers through infant baptism and state religion undermines the biblical gospel and the New Covenant established by Christ.
