Spread the word, tell a friend, and go make a difference in your world. Now onto our show with your host, Peter Mingles. Take it away, Peter. Hello everyone, Peter Mingles here. You are listening to KEL News Radio on the Building Fortunes Radio. And that work, my name is Peter Mingles,

for those people that might be unfamiliar with this. I can't believe we're already almost finished with January of 2026, where the months have gone. I'm not sure. But we do this radio show on Thursday night to the 830-ish ship you will PM Eastern time with Terry Callagher. And Terry Callagher is the creator, founder, inventor, everything that has to do with anything related to this public access media project that we've been talking about. And for those newer listeners that might be listening in, here's how it got started. Made a phone call to Terry. I didn't know who he was. He didn't know who I was. So it was kind of like a cold call. I was interviewing people obviously for Building Fortunes Radio. I was always interested in talking to some entrepreneurs. He was one of the first people that I had spoken to. I didn't speak to a lot of, I just said, you know what I think I'm gonna start to talk to people. So I called somebody and it was him. And we had a nice conversation. And he was driving at the time. So he had some time. So we started a conversation about the things

that I was looking for. We were doing some interviews for entrepreneurs and COVID and blah, blah, blah. And somewhere along the line, since I wanted to be sensitive that he was driving, I wanted him to remember me and remember my email address. And that'd be really tough if it was complicated. So he kind of remembered my name was Peter. And I said, you know, I built a bot or bot a domain name to make it real easy to remember. You could email me at peter at peter.news. So it's like my name at my name.news. And I thought that was pretty interesting and clever. And I had bought first name domain names.news for a lot of people in my family because I was an early adopter. And he said, oh, that's kind of neat. But you liked it.news domain names. And I said, I sure do. He says, I got a couple of those as well. And I don't remember which ones he rattled off. I'm like Forest Gump meeting Jenny for the first time on the bus. Like, I don't remember where it was, wherever. But I don't remember where it was, whatever. But I do remember that he mentioned a couple of domain names that were good.

And I'm like, wow, that's a good domain name, you know, pretty smart, that you got that one. And then he mentioned another one and another one and another one and I'm like, darn, these are really good. You're kind of cornering the market on these. What are you going to do with them? And that's when the magic began. And he started telling me what he was planning on doing. And I'm like, do you realize like no one's ever done anything like this? And he had hundreds of domain names of not only.news, but he's also got like the dot coms, the dot net, the dot orgs, the dot whatever. And I said, no one's ever done anything like this before you're kind of like cornering the market. You're basically setting up your own anti-trust lawsuit against yourself by the way. You've kind of monopolized this internet real estate. This is crazy. And when he started telling me about what he was working on, I was like, no one's ever done this. And AI is making it possible. And I said, here's the issue. Like since no one's ever done this, no one even knows to expect it. So let's do some radio shows, which you agreed to, which we started. We call it cal.news. Cal, K-E-L-L.news for Terry Keller.

And I said, well, document some of the progress. You'll be able to remember like the thought processes in the chain of events where like building your own digital diary, if you will, on our radio show. Plus, if people listen in, they're going to get familiar with your voice. They'll see how sincere you are. They'll hear us talk about different applications of the project. And that's what we're doing today on the radio show. Now, we have a little bit of a problem. It's gotten cold. So he's got a programmer that he hijacked from California to Connecticut. And he's probably end up put bars on his windows by now, because that programmer probably knows to get the hell out of Connecticut. So we might have to do that. That's quite bad, but he's not used to the snow. He's actually fallen twice already. Oh, wow. And yeah, well, I mean, I said snow.

We're pretty adapted at it. But it takes somebody from San Diego and you drop him into an area that's, you know, we've had a few storms in here. And one in particular, we had over the weekend with a foot and a half. So he's getting a full dose of what Connecticut living is like. Right. Very good. But it's been very productive. He's been here about a week and a half. And we've been working for over a year. But now it's crunch time to get this thing, you know, the final layer of it up. The back end is done. But the front end and the, you know, the machination of how the UI works. That's where we're at now. So we're probably a more than a half, maybe two

with the most out getting this completed in in the market. I hope to have a bait already by the end of the month, February. What I got it, actually, I got an email from the high school in the town that I'm in. I don't know how they found me. But they were looking for sponsors for a CITIC class revolving around a project that they're starting doing some background on the historical society in town. And so we put a proposal to them to help back in their project and maybe make a history corner within the town bulletin, which could be very interesting, really.

And another project for the CITIC class, but not only for this class as a project, but for future classes for the history teachers to be able to get the kids involved and understand what history is by understanding the history in their town and their local area. And obviously we can give them that experience with the technology of today. And not just looking forward, but if you don't understand the past, you're bound to repeat it. So this gives kids that on the ground experience that they wouldn't get otherwise. Does that sound interesting? It sure does. Absolutely. Well, yeah. So I just sent them a reply email this week. And we had a snow day on Monday.

That's when I sent it. So they've had about four days to digest. And I'm going to follow it up on Monday or Tuesday and see where we might be able to work together. So it gives me an answer into the education piece, which we have. And flush that idea forward within the town that I live, which would be nice, you know? That's right. Absolutely. Yeah. So this project says it develops is going to have a whole bunch of projects that's been off of this. So it's going to get pretty wild pretty quickly in a positive way. So with all the daily applications. Tyler Reddick here from 2311 Racing, another checkered flag for the books, time to celebrate with Chamba. Jump in at chambacasino.com. Let's chamba. No purchase necessary. BTW Group. Boy, we're prohibited by law. CCNC, 21 plus sponsored by Chamba Casino. So before we got started doing the radio show, you had asked me how my week was and I just

reengaged with a group of people that do a speed networking event. And this was their first one that they had it this year. They usually do it once a month. So they were true to form on in January. They did one. And it was really kind of interesting because of course, as I've been doing previous speed networking events, these are with entrepreneurs and authors and business coaches and people that do things for nonprofit organizations and people that help out women or veterans or a whole bunch of other things. I was thinking about when I was listening to all of the people that were speaking where they could use your platform to be able to advance their causes as well as advance the causes of other people in their community. And a lot of them are faith-based, though they're overlapping. So like some of the gals that I was speaking to are people that focus on women and help them with their needs and they're doing some different speaking events. And many of those women are also faith-based, so you have the church kind of thing overlapping

into it and some of them are health-oriented. So you have like health coaches that are also faith-based, that are working with women. So it kind of really starts to overlap into the different categories that you have setting up with this public access media thing. And some of them are local and some of them are nationwide. And some of them are even international, but we'll get into that maybe some other time. So there's a lot of things that I'm working on behind the scenes to be able to help plug people in to the different and various things that you are working on. So I am anxious to have you pick this off and get started so we can start poking around and you know. You know that a little bit, making it work. Yeah. That example is very appropriate to what we're doing in that you'll be able to see the people that are in your faith, in the faith-based organizations. You'll be able to tell whether they're involved in health issues or politics or so on because

they're going to be, their identity will showcase if they choose to see where their interests lie. So you're going to be able to cross-reference. You may know someone in a group that's also engaged with say or the orthodox faith or something. There's just so many crossover potentials and you don't really in discussion with people that you meet or even within a group get into, you know, what are your other interests? Where else do you have some influence or how can, how can what you do help people that are in another organization that I mean? Those kind of references, are you engaged in something, let's say in a health issue,

you might be engaged with Alzheimer's because you have a relative you're taken care of and it wouldn't be known, but you'll be able to find that out through this platform. So that crossover that you're just, you're bringing up, that's really a fundamental value proposition that I saw early in the, in the potential. So I'm going to get, I'm going to stick on that Alzheimer's thing for a second only because one of the gals I was speaking with just retired, she was part of the speed neck networking event because she's like, listen, I want to continue to stay active helping a lot of other people. And she studied and treated people with Alzheimer's for the last 18 years. So she knows, just about as much as anybody else and she's just a really good person, she's willing to help, she likes to coordinate things you could just see that she, she retired, she's not done. So people like that can overlap and help in lots of places, she's a woman, she's a senior

herself, she has a special T, she's really good at connecting different people to different services. So she could be a community organizer kind of for you, one of those editorial types of people who knows. And that's just like one day, one example with some of the speed networking people that I deal with on a regular basis, that's why when you started telling me about the project I saw it right away, like I saw it right away, I'm like, wow, you build it, we'll fill it up because I really do believe that's going to happen. I think it's going to happen organically. I hope so. I mean, that's really how it's intended to be built, I'm really resistant to bringing in investors, I'd like to build it organically through membership and the reason before it is that if I bring in investors now, I'm duty bound to give them the highest return possible. Well, the return that I want is just what you're talking about.

I want to see the good that comes out of it, and in the end, the value is really what it's going to be doing for these communities. And if I take investors in like private equity or whatever it might be, they're not going to, they're concerned is their return. My return is that it gets up, that it's sustainable, and that it helps the communities and continues to build better community, that's the value for me. Ironically, I'm of an age where money isn't really going to make a big difference in my life. Certainly, it'll make me more comfortable, but it takes some stress off me or what made my head, but the reality is, I have no plans about being next month is up and learning.

It's not something that I would even try to continue, so you know, that's what I want. So I guess the question would be, so where are you at, what are you working on as far as progress? And I know you mentioned, I'm like, you're working away. Yeah, I had to go with justice, somebody came to the door, it was a box for something anyway. Okay, so where were we? Well, you know what we should probably do, I should probably take a commercial break, so we'll take a quick commercial break first, and then we'll be right back, you listening

Talk about the KISC book and websites. The KISC, keep it simple circle, can be your key to success. Now, let's get back to the show. Take it away, Peter. And we're back, Peter Mingles here with Terry Callagher. We're talking about the public access media network project and we put this stuff up on kell.news so you'll be able to hear it almost like a digital if you will journal. And we're talking about some of the different things that Terry is working on relative to building this. And it's kind of taking a life of its own, whether it's people calling him asking him questions where it might fit or people like me that are helping with the project as far as just understanding it and getting people familiar with it as well and a lot of the people that I talk to will be able to jump in there and make things move in a massive way. And other stuff that he's worked on between the trade show the city's done and the other people that he's working on, it's going to be something that kind of takes a life of its own. I'm sure. And hopefully this is going to be launched sometime towards the second quarter of 2026 and

if it takes a little bit longer, it does, but it's probably going to be done sooner than that. At least on some preliminary basis is in them kind of curious and anxious to see how this could be used and help a whole bunch of people. So Terry, I'll just kind of use this one more example. We had a really kind of a cold spell all across the United States. And even in Florida, I was getting notified of a post about the shelters and what days they're going to be open and stuff like that because it's getting colder here too. And cold in Florida, I mean, if we're in our 40s, that's cold, but we've been down into the 20s, believe it or not, and I think they're talking about that maybe even coming back this weekend. So there's a lot of hurry up and get things organized kind of things and how will the public access media network be able to help with those kind of community events that might be happening? Well, think about it. Even the homeless have phones, right?

You would think pretty much, I mean, that's kind of the last thing that people get rid of when they're living and they're like, they always have, somebody always has a phone. Well, where do you go to find out where the shelters are or if there is a veil of bed available or what their phone number is and a way to connect to that whole infrastructure of need that exists and people who end up in a circumstance beyond their control don't understand, don't know and don't have a way to turn. Often times, when you turn to that, you find yourself in a long position in a long area of what you need, and I hope that in belief that through the tools and the resources

we're going to be offering, that's one aspect of the things that we can do and bring people together. And also, bring the people that are, like you've said about Alzheimer's, this person that you know, there are many people around who are willing to put people into their homes to help them out temporarily to get them off their feet. Then this might be a way for that to happen. And, you know, that's, you know, in a small way, I'm trying, or I was actually in a big way, I'm trying to bring people together to the needs that are the concerns of the community, which in today's world, we really don't have that. And there's no infrastructure for bringing people together and showcasing what the needs of the

minorities are. And when I talk about minorities, it's those who are at the bottom of our lives and our culture that may need help and a leg up. And that infrastructure of the giving community, which tends to be faith-based, you know, I know the statistic, it's about 40% of the infrastructure need is provided by the faith-based community. So if this tool can bring them closer to the problems, they'll be more effective, and those people in need will be helped that much sooner and better. Right? Absolutely. Absolutely. I'm looking forward to it. Tyler Reddick here from 2311 Racing.

Victory Lane? Yeah. It's even better with Chamba by my side. Race to ChambaCasino.com. Let's Chamba. No purchase necessary. VTW Group. Void work prohibited by law. CTNCs. 21 Plus. Sponsored by ChambaCasino. So, I guess the next question is, you know, tell us about the time frame and what you're working on. Well, are we talking next week? Yeah, I'm not going to have it. I'm not playing here now. And because of that, his sole focus is now on this project. And whatever distractions he had was going on in his life. They're home now in my house. And he's, you know, full board working on this to get this up. So, I think that we're going to be making a lot of the last minute corrections and adaptions

that this needed in a quicker pace. And because I'm there also, in front of him, he's able to ask me the questions about that, you know, what is taking a day or a half a day to be able to analyze. Now I can work right with him and show him what the ideas are that I had for this. You know, it's one thing to be a founder. It's another person to adapt somebody's vision. And unless you got the person right there, it's a little harder. And I think my being around him is going to help him fill this a lot sooner. You know, his experience comes from AI. He had built something called Citizen Portal AI. And this is how we met. He saw what I was doing through a vlog that I had on LinkedIn.

And I'm fairly active on it also. So maybe I don't know how we clowned me, but the founder of he was working as an architect, as the architect for this project. And he reached out to me because we had a lot of similarities with his Citizen Portal AI that he was building for his name is Peter Allen. He was the founder of ancestry.com. And his company, Soar, was building this fluidically based Citizen Portal AI, which really takes legislatures and towns and builds an AI around it. And it's very useful and it'll do some of the things that we do as well. But I have a more general and broader contact contrast to what I'm doing.

I kind of own a real estate in domains for what Soar was trying to build. And in a few areas that I'm building as well, but not in the complexity that I'm doing. So he contacted me to see if we maybe had some synergy, and if I was willing to work with them. And he actually talked to me before he talked to his boss and to Mr. Allen. And I was, you know, sure I'm interested. Somebody of his background would be a well from addition to the project. And certainly doesn't have a need to make money. He sold the ancestry for a few billions. So I'm sure he's well and he has resources.

He doesn't need to continue to make money so much. He'd probably be an ideal partner for me. But anyway, he looked at everything and I didn't see what I saw and or see what Frank saw. Maybe he did, but they were in the midst of doing a crowdfunding. And they were, if you're doing any type of fundraising, you can't talk to other people about ventures or you're duly bound to exercise what you're doing and with what you came out with to raise that initial funding. So there's like a quiet period and I didn't fit in that. So anyway, it didn't come to anything. About six months later, I reached out to him and he was no longer with Mr. Allen.

He said that he just was disillusioned by the direction they were going. And I said, well, you know, I'm looking for somebody to be my architect. And if you're interested and he mentioned how much he needed for, you know, consulting fee. And at the time, I had the money. And so we came to an agreement. And for the last year, he's been working on the project. And about, I don't know, maybe a month ago, I put the idea in his head that maybe he should come here. And you know, we could finish the project and get it to market with him a lot quicker with him being around me every day. And so that's what we're doing. And it's coming up, you know, I, he says he's making tremendous progress now that he's here.

And, you know, I'm able to answer a lot of the questions he has as he's coming across them. So it's not like he's got to wait for my email or me to pick up the phone. I'm right there. So we have a daily meeting. He knows what I'm thinking. I know what he's doing. So it's very productive. And AI today, you know, very shortly. I probably could have done this on my own. AI is taking on a direction that is making development a lot easier. And a lot, even for the person like myself, who's not a programmer, AI is simplifying that exercise. So kind of anyone could build applications, although mine is a little more on the enterprise side,

because I've got about 600 news sites that are in different topic categories. And that's what makes this project unique and gives it the length that you see. And, you know, we intend to take advantage of at a local level, which is an underserved market. You know, others have tried. They've said, you know, that it can't scale. And I know that, but the reality is what does scale is technology. And news on a local level, of course, doesn't scale within resources and the knowledge. And technology required to bring it out into showcase and on a local level that does exist. And it can be done. And those tools are the things that we're trying to provide.

And we will provide and make something that will do what we intend, which is to build better community. Right? Absolutely. Absolutely. We're looking forward to it. So every week is getting closer and closer. So I don't know where you'll be next week at this time, but I know you'll be a lot closer than what you were. And looking forward to hearing it. I'm going to be following up with the people that I just met on this speed networking event in anticipation that we're going to be plugging them in within the next month or two. So they'll be our, you know, the people that actually might be able to help launch this thing as fast as we possibly can. So I know you're building that. Yeah, it's going to happen. It's going to happen. Yeah. I'm really looking forward to working with people. Yep. You know, the people that you're talking about, they're very, it sounds like they're very passionate about the areas of their, you know, their interests.

And those are the people that we want to be able to engage with. That's really important. These are good, passionate, intense, positive people that are just the kind of people you want to line yourself with. They help build your brand as opposed to take away your brand. So they're good people. And a lot of them on this recent batches are women. So the whole component of the women help and the women. And they're going to be the communicators as well. It's just a really great group of people. So anyway, so we'll introduce everything as it starts to occur. And I'm looking forward to this. I got a bounce in my step when I hear about, you know, the progress that you're making. And the other people that I'm meeting, because we're going to make a big difference in the world. The things that I've thought of are nothing compared to the things that they're going to come out with. All right. I'm looking forward to their input. Yep. Yep.

Good to know. I mean, I'm painting with a broad brush. They're going to come in with the particulars and they're going to make it really important. That's what I'm looking forward to seeing. You know, making it, making a difference. Yep. Yeah. All right. Let's go ahead. No, no, no. I was going to say I was going to let you warm up, grab some hot cocoa. I know you've been outside. Yeah. Maybe I'm going to get your warm, warm your bones and settle in. Because this is probably pretty freezing out there right now. It is cold. Yes. Anyway, you know, I thank you Peter for this. This has really been a lot of fun. And I know when we get going, people will actually look back at this and say, you know, gee, I need to do this too for my ideas or their ideas.

You've given this a lot of important value that people can look back at what we've given examples to as to what the public access media network will be able to accomplish. That's very important. Thank you. Well, you're welcome. So it's going to be good. And, you know, stay warm because you guys are going to be cold again. It's going to be really cold this weekend, I think, for you guys. So stay warm. Stay healthy. Stay safe. Be cautious if you go sweating. Yeah, we were talking about that earlier. Yep. I'm going to try to do that. Have fun. Stay away from the trees. Okay. Okay. That sounds funny. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Remember? Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, taking a video. Hit a tree.

That was a bad thing. That's sad. So having said that, we're going to catch you every next time when building fortunes radio. Check them out. Kale.News. Kale.News. We'll see you next time.
