Formula E Season Review: We look back on a blockbuster final Gen3 campaign

Another multi-contentious season of Formula E action is analysed after the final Gen3 campaign of the world’s only all-electric world series – the ABB FIA Formula E world championship.

11 winners from 17 races told only a small part of the story in a season where Pascal Wehrlein took his second title and Jaguar claimed the team’s silverware in Mitch Evans’ last season with the Big Cat and Antonio Felix da Costa’s first.

Five big questions on the pattern and narrative of the season are discussed by Val and Sam Smith, while subjects such as Jaguar’s inability to get a driver’s title are also ruminated upon.

The performance of rookies Felipe Drugovich and Pepe Marti are also looked in to, as is the soap opera that was Dan Ticktum and his fractious relationship with his own team, competitors and stewards over the course of a season in which he often went from genius to eccentric and back again across any given weekend.
