About this episode

Former Turnstile guitarist, Brady OBrien Ebert, arrested in Maryland for allegedly attempting to run over his neighbor, William Yates, father of the bands lead singer, Brendan Yates. The incident, caught on camera, resulted in Yates hospitalization with serious injuries. Ebert faces charges of attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault, and has been held without bail since his arrest. On April 3rd, a former turned-style guitarist named Brady O'Brien Ebert just got arrested in Maryland for allegedly trying to run over his neighbor with, his car. The 33-year-old faces charges of attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault after a hit and run on March 29th. That hospitalized a 78-year-old man with a broken leg and other serious injuries. That victim turned out to be William Yates, father of the band's lead singer, Brendan Yates. He say the whole thing was caught on a neighbor's security camera in Silver Spring. Ebert's been held without bail at the Montgomery County Detention Center since his arrest on March 31st with a preliminary hearing set for May 1st. William Yates told cops he rushed out after seeing Ebert's vehicle honk and head toward his daughter and grandkids in the driveway. Yates said Ebert's swerved right at him, and after the crash, Ebert came back yelling that he deserved it. Yates also reported prior run-ins, like Ebert speeding at him on March 13th and yelling

obscenities at his family days later. This all stems from tension since Ebert left Turnstile back in August 2022. The band posted a gracious goodbye on Instagram, saying they were grateful for their time together and wished him the best. Meanwhile, Turnstile's been killing it lately, winning their first Grammys on February 1st for Best Rock Album and Best Metal Performance on there. Like this to record, crazy how neighborhood drama collides with big-time success like that. This has been Entertainment and celebrity news today, powered by AI.
