About this episode
Boundaries are a sign of self-respect, so love yourself enough to set and honour them.
They come in many forms, and most conversations refer to emotional boundaries of how we allow others to treat or speak to us.
Yet, we tend to overlook the boundaries we set, or do not set, for ourselves.
Boundaries are the emotional limits set, which are activated when breached. A breach is usually a behaviour or a comment which violates a personal value. The breaches could be concerning requests for your time and how another treats and speaks to you or invades your personal space.
Even though you may not know what a boundary is, you know it has been crossed when you have an instant and uncomfortable emotional reaction.
Most people have set their boundaries unconsciously, and in a world of healthy relationships, these are generally sufficient.
However, when it comes to unhealthy environments, relationships or poor communication, the lack of awareness and strength of the boundaries is where the challenges arise.
In this episode of the podcast, you'll discover how to set healthy boundaries and use them in a healthy way for yourself, and with others.
