This move brings the 38-year-old left-winger, together with his younger brother Marcus, for the first time in their NHL careers. Nick has 11 points in 37 games this season, and the Wild see him as a leader for their playoff push. Earlier this week, Minnesota kept adding depth with forwards Michael McCarran and Bobby Brink, plus defenseman Jeff Petri. McCarran brings physical play with 12 points and plenty of hits, while the 24-year-old Brink has 26 points this year. Petri adds experience on the blue line for just a conditional late pick.
