Flinders Ranges-Willow Springs -Skytrek- Michelle Reynolds Interview
About this episode
In this episode Andy and Michelle Reynolds have a good old yarn around the campsite up at Willow Springs Station. They talk all about the history, what it was like growing up on a sheep station, how the property morphed into the outstanding tourist destination it is today and what a visiting 4WD'er can expect. Of course the discussion heads around to Skytrek the iconic self drive 4WD track. They discuss how Skytrek morphed from an idea into the original track and how the new track came to be. Skytrek is one of the most iconic tracks in Australia and is on many bucket lists. Having driven it 3 times Andy can attest to it's brilliance.
The Reynolds family have been custodians of Willow Springs Station for generations and run a fabulous tourist destination today from Camping to 4.5star Accomodation and no visit is complete without completing the fabulous Skytrek.
