I was watching a movie called Peter and Paul and it's great, but the special effects were a little cheezy. Then I thought about it...
Can you imagine what it must've been like to see the miracles firsthand? Remember that at this point, these people had never seen special effects. There weren't giant sound systems. Can you imagine what is what like to hear a voice from the heavens?
My dog dances when I let him out of his cage. He knows what freedom is like FIRST HAND. We need to think back to the AMAZING actions of Jesus. He even told people he healed, "Don't tell anyone," but they couldn't help himself and neither should we.
Take some time this week and try to put yourself in the shoes of those who experienced Christ firsthand.
