Finistair's Summer Flights: Connecting Islands & Boosting Travel

0:00On March 29th, the airline connecting Alderny, Jersey, and Breast in France is sticking around for a longer summer run this year. French carrier Finestaire is keeping flights going twice a week on Fridays and Sundays, kicking off the last week of May right through the end of September. This comes after a solid two-month trial last year that drew strong interest from passengers. Local leaders see it filling gaps in travel options without stepping on the toes of current routes that keep things connected. Stuart Clark, who chairs the Economic Development Committee, pointed out how the test flights revealed real hunger for smoother hops between islands, and nearby spots. To push it further, they're teaming up with Jersey's government imports, while boosting marketing and easier booking setups. All this sets the stage for more reliable trips across the region, keeping the momentum rolling strong this season.
