Finding Peace in Motherhood/ Seeing the Big Picture

You’re child might not like every decision that you make. In fact, they might even cry about it or throw a fit, but let me free you from that…You mama, know what is best for your child and you can see what the long-term consequences of what seemingly small decisions can be. God gave us authority over our children and it’s OK if they cry about a wise decision that their parents make. It’s OK if they throw a fit and get mad at you about it. They can’t see the destination like you can you can see the destination.  You can see the goal.  You can see where you’re going and they cannot and that’s OK. We are called to lovingly guide our children to be all that they can be and thrive in this world and sometimes that requires being uncomfortable and not doing things that you like to do.
