In this insightful episode of The Treasury Career Corner podcast, Frank Waechter, the Global Director Treasury & Insurance at PUMA Group, shared his “accidental” path into treasury and how it has impacted his recruiting process.
Frank is responsible for any treasury and insurance matters within the PUMA Group. He is based at the company’s headquarters in Herzogenaurach near Nuernberg, Germany. He is also an active member in the German Treasurer’s Association VdT e.V and a member of the United Nations Fashion Industry Charter on Climate Action: Working Group "Financial Tools”.
Founded in 1948, PUMA is one of the world’s leading sports brands. As a German multinational corporation, PUMA designs and manufactures athletic and casual footwear, apparel and accessories, and the PUMA Group owns the brand PUMA, Cobra Golf and stichd.
PUMA supports over 14,000 employees across 120+ countries and has been a public company since 1986, listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
