El: Ο Ηλίας καθόταν στο μικρό του διαμέρισμα, κοιτάζοντας την οθόνη του υπολογιστή.
En: O Ilias was sitting in his small apartment, staring at the computer screen.
El: Ήταν Γενάρης, κι έξω το κρύο έκανε τα παράθυρα να θολώνουν.
En: It was January, and outside the cold was making the windows fog up.
El: Η τελευταία του εργασία ως γραφίστας έπρεπε να παραδοθεί μέσα στην εβδομάδα, αλλά το μυαλό του περιπλανιόταν στην εορτή των Θεοφανίων που πλησίαζε.
En: His latest project as a graphic designer was due by the end of the week, but his mind wandered to the Feast of the Epiphany that was approaching.
El: Στην γειτονιά του στην Αθήνα, οι δρόμοι ήταν γεμάτοι ζωή.
En: In his neighborhood in Athina, the streets were full of life.
El: Οι καμπάνες της εκκλησίας χτυπούσαν αγγελικά, καλώντας τους κατοίκους να μαζευτούν για τον Αγιασμό των Υδάτων.

En: O Nikos, more persistent, added: "We'll be waiting for you at the square.
El: Μην ανησυχείς για τη δουλειά, θα τα καταφέρεις!
En: Don't worry about work, you'll manage!"
El: »Με τους ήχους της γιορτής να διαπερνούν τις σκέψεις του, ο Ηλίας αναστέναξε.
En: With the sounds of the celebration penetrating his thoughts, o Ilias sighed.
El: Οι προθεσμίες τον κυνηγούσαν, αλλά κάτι μέσα του έλεγε πως έπρεπε να κάνει ένα διάλειμμα.
En: Deadlines were chasing him, but something inside him said that he needed to take a break.
El: Άλλωστε, οι Θεοφάνια ήταν μόνο μία φορά το χρόνο.
En: After all, the Epiphany comes only once a year.
El: Παίρνοντας μια βαθιά ανάσα, αποφάσισε να φορέσει το ζεστό του φουλάρι και βγήκε έξω.
En: Taking a deep breath, he decided to put on his warm scarf and went outside.
El: Οι στενοί, λιθόστρωτοι δρόμοι ήταν γεμάτοι με γείτονες που χαιρετούσαν ο ένας τον άλλον θερμά.
En: The narrow, cobblestone streets were filled with neighbors warmly greeting each other.

En: The cold air offered a refreshing contrast to the warm atmosphere of the community.
