FF: Should I Quit Paying Taxes?
Some people on social media are asking if they should stop paying taxes in protest to the waste, fraud, abuse, and war. We talk about the problems, the ramifications, and how we approach the topic of taxes. We discuss how you can "Give back to Caesar what is Caesar's" and still save without losing your purchasing power. We talk about unconstitutional laws and how you can fight against those. We cover topics from taxes, inflation, money, and how to stand up against the problems with taxes in a way that is legal. We need to approach the solution to problems in the right way to make the world a better place.

Welcome to the Real Power Family Radio Show, brought to you by Family Success Triangle. Where we talk about how we achieved financial freedom in two years, by the time we were 30. If we can do it, so can you. We will bring you the people who can help you achieve financial freedom, time freedom, and location freedom. Learn how we integrated our business, investing and homeschooling into everyday life. Now, here is the Real Power Family, Eric, Lila, Devon, and Ethan. Welcome to the Real Power Family Radio Show, I'm your host, Eric Wilwin. We have the entire family for this financial Friday. There's a lot of talk on X. Has anybody been on X and red? I just made one comment in like, I got a lot of responses for it that, uh, recording the fraud that's going on, and they're blaming it on Somalis. And they're also saying, I think Trump said Somalis are trash and, uh, I don't know, but
I don't think it's any one country, any more than anyone religion or anything else. That being said, we absolutely, did you know that I think it's District 3 in Ohio, which is Columbus, has a Somali congressman, Lila? Oh, I did not. Yeah. Although it's times we've testified to the House and Senate in Columbus. This is the Ohio it, uh, House of Representatives. He hasn't been on any of the committees, but he's at their shooting his mouth off like, you know, I'm loyal to Somalia. I have a problem with that, like I have a big, big problem if you're one of our politicians and selected the state, the federal, even the local level, if you're, um, if you're elected to Alliance City Council, and I'm like, I'm only going to do what's best for Canton. I don't think you should be allowed to stay on Alliance City Council just because there are two cities in the same county. You need to totally represent who you represent, period, no, and of course you should not be able to have another passport or any allegiance.
Why do you need another passport? I mean, I would kind of like to have one, but that's an escape mechanism if my government gets too bad. If you want to be in the government, you should be 100% committed to that country. Yes. Yes. In that country, you're there to serve that country. Yeah. And let's say I've never actively tried to get another passport. I do not have to pay. I only have my United States passport. That being said, I can understand why some people do want two passports. That'd be very clear here. Um, I am a big fan. Everybody knows, of course. If people didn't show up with guns and throw me in jail, if they didn't confiscate the money, uh, if they didn't freeze my bank accounts and, you know, put leans on my property or confiscate my property and they couldn't throw me in jail. I wouldn't pay my taxes. I am absolutely disgusted and I understand I might actually take an equivalent or even greater amount and give it to local charities, but they would all be in my direct area.
If we need, I might even write a huge check to fix a bridge. I might, you know, repave one of my parking lots and then do the street in front of my apartment building. And I could see doing some of these things. I mean, look at the, there was a dominoes commercial where the guys like, yep, we did that. And they were going around and they had a asphalt truck painted up like dominoes. What incredible advertising, how many people, if you aren't in Ohio or literally anywhere it's snowing and we have a blizzard right now, uh, a mansion every spring, what the roads are like. Very publicity, could you get if you just went out and fixed roads? I'm not saying that I want to count on private enterprise to take care of all the roads. I am saying that if they didn't take money that we really don't want to give up, then we would give it to the things that we wanted more. Right. I assure you, I would not send hundreds of millions of dollars to Ukraine for any reason no matter what period, but some people might and that's good.
I think they've got a right to put their money where they want it to go. I've said for a long time that if you want to tell me I owe X amount in taxes, let me put it towards the things that mean something to me. And then if something doesn't get funded, obviously the people don't care enough about it. How many more people would say if you could check the box, right? Yep. Uh, that says it, but you'd have to actually keep the interest separate. This is the interest based on the war debt. This is the base on that. A mansion. We have a $1 trillion. We have more than a train dollars in interest repair every year and a trillion dollars was spent, obviously spent on the military. But how many waves and repercussions are we getting? We go in and we invade a country and say we're doing something great. And then we allow all their refugees to come here. And some accounts are over 80% of the people that we bring here from some different specifically
Somalia are on welfare of some sort. How much is that costing us? Well, if we wouldn't have invaded, would we have given them all refugee status, then it was clear. This guy, what's his name? He had like a 42 minute video on X that everybody was watching. He found $110 million in fraud in one day. And then Trump came out and said it's billions. Oh, it's so clearly way over billions. That's just what they found very quickly. Finally, no news media would put it on. Finally, Fox News put it on. And I heard CNBC is still saying, oh, he's not true. He's blown it out of proportion. You're talking about Nick Shirley, right? Nick Shirley's video. All right. Then that's what started all of this. And it between that and these endless wars and, oh, my gosh, Trump's bombing in other country. And we're blown up. Nobody's talking about the drug boats. He blew up. Maybe we're done with those. That'd be great. But now he's bombing in other country.
One of the most important reasons I voted for him again was because he was the only president this century, Democrat or Republican that didn't start anymore wars. He didn't go out and kill people on other countries. And I thought that was a really good thing for the world. I'm not saying that, you know, if you're Israeli, you shouldn't be fighting Hamas or that if you're Ukrainian, you should be fighting Russia. I'm not saying that the Ukrainians or at least their leaders are right. I think that most of the people stuck in the war zone probably just want it to be over. I think that everyone that lost a father or a husband or a son probably thinks maybe it wasn't worth it, at least at some time in their life, if not, if that's not their driving thought, war is just not good. Death is never, ever good. And I don't think that we should be funding it. So some people are using the thing, well, I don't think we should pay taxes. We should just go on tax straight. One, yes, we could do that.
Two, yes, the government can absolutely crush anybody. They pick out according to many people, they can't begin to get it. You would only need a, you know, a small percentage to people to say, no, I won't pay before it changed things. I don't know. I think maybe the IRS couldn't catch you. It doesn't make it right. But you'd need at least 20% and there aren't people that are that strong. When we sued the city of North Canton, when we sued the CDC, we couldn't even get people to stand up with us. They were all afraid. Not only wouldn't stand up, they tried to talk me out of it. And I'm going about it the legal way. And they're like, no, don't do that. They'll audit you. They'll crush you. They'll take your business license. They'll do whatever. I said, I don't care. I just, you can't run a business like that. You cannot keep up. And that's what the farmers, they got pushed too far. Telling me that I cannot evict people that don't pay their rent. I can't provide rentals. If I give it to somebody and they live there and they don't pay me.
If they don't pay, then I not only lose that one. I lose all the others if enough people start doing that. It's just, it's not sustainable. So it really didn't matter what they did to me. I had to be backed into a corner to know this is terribly wrong. And it wasn't hurting us financially. But the moral hazard, if it went on, could have destroyed us. And once you get past, once you pass through a decline, you can never come back. So that's where, you know, the farmers from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Holland, Norway, Poland, Romania, Scotland, Slovenia, Spain, and Greece are all standing up back to my prediction of we're getting more decentralized. Well, I think that it's not bad enough in America yet. Enough people won't stand up. And if only a couple of people say, yeah, I decided not to pay my taxes. Hey, if you're in a small, if you're a single proprietor, if you're just doing your own, you don't get a W2, there's plenty of people that are cheating the system
and working out of the table. There's ways you can do that, but you can't run a business that way. We got employees, we've got subcontractors. We've got all these different cities we've got to do stuff in. And it's just not realistic. If somebody like us were to say, no, we're just not paying our taxes. We're too big. It's target. And there aren't enough other people to stand up. So while I do believe that, what do you call it when somebody forces you to give them money against your will, Devon? That would be robbery last I checked, robbery theft, but extortion. But what if your neighbor needs it more than you? Don't robbery. But what if everything you said beforehand, it is still robbery or theft? And what if they get it out of the five people in the allotment? They get two of their friends in them to vote against you.
And they vote a law in that says you have to give them your money. That doesn't make it right. They may make it legal, but it's still not right. But what if they put $100 into a pot? And they all get together and make a pact and 50.1% of them is asleep three out of five of the people make a pact. And they all say we're going to put a hundred dollars in here. And then we're going to take $200 back out. And the two dissenters are like, but where's that 200 coming from? And they say, don't worry. And the long one will all be dead, which means my kids will pay for it. And they're like, no, I don't want my kids to have to pay for it. So if they did that and they made that pact, knowing that it couldn't be followed through. And like, don't worry more people will be putting money in every month. So by the time we go to take ours out, it won't matter.
We can get 150 or 200, even though we only put a hundred in. They did that. Would that be okay, moral and ethical and logical and mathematical? No, no, you're smelling prosperity from the future. Yes. So you can spend it today. So no matter how you justify it, paying taxes, even if it's for something which might be the noblest of all of the government spending, it doesn't make it right that you paid in. Even if you call it so security, it is literally called social security. It is socialism at its finest. And it doesn't matter that you paid in, it could never have succeeded at the beginning. It can noxiccede now. And this whole one-world government, the great deeps at whomever, they're pushing us to shrink our population. It seems to me like the food industry and the medical industry is also trying to kill us or keep us sick and not save us when we're dying. Oh, and that goes up 600%.
If you happen to have trisomy 21 or Down syndrome. So it is not just somebody saying, oh, yeah, they're aggressively going after so security age people because they're draining the system. And I really wondered that when they came out with that shot, that's why I didn't want one of the reasons we discussed. I don't want my dad to take it. It's like, give it a year. Let's see what happens. There's no good enough tests that I believe. It happened too quick. I don't believe it. Just stay at home. I'll bring you everything. And the next year we'll decide if you should get the shot or not because you are the highest risk casual. I definitely am not going to get it, but kids aren't going to get it. But you were high risk. If anybody needs to get that shot, it's you. And this is when they first came out with the mRNA shot. Yeah, look at them. They financially, they can't support these people. Financial, they can't be paid. And they have the most legitimate thing saying, but we paid in UOS. So if you can't pay them and you can't win an election,
there's really only one way to deal with it. And that's to get rid of them. Until people wake up and see that that is actually, I don't know if that was their intent, but that is their result. And until people see things like that, they're never going to stand up against the government, not any significant portion. And say, I'm not going to pay my taxes. So we're way over. Let's take a quick break. We'll be right back. I am Ethan Walwind from The Real Power Family. My book The Treehouse is a story about a group of teenagers looking for a place to their own with some scrap wood and a lot of help from their friends and neighbors. They built a treehouse relationships and a dream that turned into a business. Get a copy of The Treehouse by Ethan Walwind on Amazon today. We talked about a couple different things in the beginning part of this show. And dad, I had a question that goes back to the beginning. You talked about, I'm going to do a Somalia or some fraud that you saw on X. I didn't hear about that. Can you briefly tell me what that was? Yeah, you obviously have not turned on X in the last four or a week or so. That's very good. You're a healthy young man. You apparently listen to those commercials that screen time is bad during every teenager takeover. I appreciate Brushwood Media for picking that for their commercial. I think it's incredibly fitting. What they did is they literally, they had a learning center that was misspelled, leering center. But one of the guys, one of my favorite memes over this, he corrected the spelling. And instead of putting, you know, leering center, which should have been learning center, he changed it to L-O-O-T-I-N-G center. Oh, nice. It might not have been looting, but it was the same concept.
Yeah. And very well done. Whoever did that, congratulations. No, they are saying. And one guy went around and he was like, hey, I want to check my, I see you have a daycare here. There was a sign up and he goes, I want to check my child and like, why would you want to do that? He's because I need a place from a stay. And they slammed the door in his face and locked it. And others he walked in and he goes, he had pulled up the records and found out how much they got paid and they're collecting over a million dollars a year. And then they're doing this multiple times over. And he goes, oh, it says here you're supposed to have 45 children here, where are all the kids? And then there was another daycare center where they were giving it. And I don't know if I only saw it once. It might not be true. That I'm certain is true, because he had so much video documentation. But then another one actually had children there and they kept slapping. And this is not Somalis, this is somebody else, but it's another daycare thing. They're slapping stickers on these kids that make them go to sleep. They probably have Diffin Hyde to mean or something in them. Wow. Wow. And one of the kids took some stickers home
when their parents figured it out. But there's all of these things going on. Now people are looking into daycares and then they're looking into Somalis. It seems to be predominantly Somalis. Immigrants in Minnesota. But then it gets worse. And they have all of these Somalis in Columbus, Ohio. And people are calling them complaining. So over the weekend, the FBI, I, somebody shows up and they sent all these troops to Columbus. And they're checking on these daycares and there's absolutely nobody in there. And they're collecting many millions of dollars to the point that we've lost. I think somebody said $8 billion in fraud in just the last year or two, just from this. And they're paying these people. And then we have TSA agents that say, yeah, these Somalis, they're literally bringing in suitcases. They've been doing this. We keep reporting it. Nobody does anything. They're bringing in suitcases full of cash and taking it carry on and flying it back to Somalia.
People are pretty upset over this that they're lying. And then there's another ring where they have a grocery store. And if I understand this correctly, they have a restaurant attached. They're either right there in the same building or they're like next door. So they buy a bunch of food that they get the right off for in the grocery store. They declare a loss because there's so much theft. They give it to the grocery store or to the restaurant. The restaurant prepares and sells it. And I don't know if they're collecting cash or what, but that's another thing. And then the final thing to time on together, like there's a bunch of these that one building has rented out with like a grocery store, a restaurant and a daycare center. And just like they were talking about, who do we fly down to see in Springfield, Ohio, Ethan? Hey, she's Springfield. Yeah, they were going after Haitians there. I personally went there with Ethan and it was not nearly as bad as what people were
blowing up to be on the internet. So I'm thinking Columbus, Ohio, we can drive there. It's only a couple hours. We might go do some serious investigating down there in the next few weeks. If we're not flying to Florida, we might go down there and figure out what's going on. But we could literally just fly into that airport, get some lunch at JPs, take their courtesy car and go check stuff out for a few hours. That could be fun. And then people know it's really going on because they'll have it firsthand and not through some media source that it supplied to them. But this, Nick, was it Nick? Who, what's his name, Lila? Nick Shirley. Nick Shirley did a great job documenting everything and really recording where all these places that he went. So now they're finally sending authorities there. Well, with, what do we have? 17 intelligence agencies? Why didn't a single one of them figure this out? They're too busy tracking down people that peacefully walked.
They were, they were so violent. Devon at this awful insurrection that was worse than anything since the Civil War. They didn't break through the velvet ropes in the hallways. Yep. Yeah. But that's the terrible insurrection that they were talking about for how long and when after how many people. Years they arrested these people and held them in jail without trials for many of them. They coerced them to get them to plead guilty because they had no choice if they didn't. And then many of them, they made up a law and retroactively enforced it. So when they did something, there was no law against it. But then they passed the law so they could prosecute somebody for something they had done before the law was passed. Which is against the Constitution, Article I, Section 9, by the way. You can't have an ex post facto law passed. In other words, you can't arrest people for something that wasn't illegal at the time that they did it. So it's nice to know that our government is so paying
so much attention to the Constitution that they said they were going to uphold and defend. So to speak. I mean, how often do they really listen to that? Because they've been trying, they've, they've also went after the First Amendment. How many times have they gone after the Second Amendment? The Fourth Amendment isn't that why we're suing North Canton? That is exactly why. And that's the way that I do think that you're not having or taxation a theft. People say, well, we have to be, I don't know, man. I definitely don't need to pay. It's illegal to have a standing army for more than two years. And yet we have a trillion dollar military budget a year for our army. That shouldn't be. No, it is illegal. The Constitution is a supreme law to land. It is absolutely and constitutional. I don't care what laws they pass. The Constitution always comes first. If you want to change it, you have to amend that. Yes. So when the Constitution says you can't do it, you can't just pass the law to make it right.
You have to change the Constitution which is much harder than passing a law. And that is the way that I think we need to attack this. We have to use the system they built, but not the ridiculous laws they have. We have to challenge and nullify the laws like this. Ridiculous. They're trying to steal my property. And oh, you think it's bad in North Kent, Ohio. Try New York City. They just passed what is it, Copa? You literally, this has got to be to get more fraud. It's absolutely. It's clearly screams. We're going to abuse you and waste your time and money so we can commit more fraud. It should be the name of the law. Wow. I'll tell you about that right after this break. Welcome back to the real power family radio show. We have been talking about finances and government. And Eric, you were just talking about a law in New York that is, well, you got to tell us about this because I haven't heard about this one yet. Yeah. Okay, Devon, we just, you as an agent and me as a seller
just had a deal come down to the wire and blow up. Why did the deal blow up? The final straw on the camel's back, as you could say, was that the title company wouldn't allow us to do this. So forget about the, they were refusing to follow the law. They were finding their own company policy. But what did that lead? I didn't care about that. It the fact that they drug it out and drug it out until it was too late. And once it goes past the end of the text, you're everything in my life changed because I had planned on that income in 2025. And now that I have to declare in 2026, it's not a good deal for me anymore because I had incredible write-offs in 25 that could offset the sale income. Yep. Now I'm paying way too much in taxes. So yeah, I'm not going to pay those taxes. I'm just not going to sell the asset. And what we'll do is it, I don't know, maybe I'll hold it until I die. Then it is reevaluated to the full value that it is.
And you boys can either depreciate it again or you can sell it without capital gains tax. But if I sell right now, it's going to cost me almost 15 grain of capital gains tax. So close it on December 30th. Great. Close it on January 2nd. No bueno. I'm not going to have it. Exactly. That's the way I am fighting and not paying taxes. I'm just making decisions. I mean, eventually holding this one house longer. Just another rental. Guys in there, he's been there for many years. He's paying. I was kind of selling it because I know the buyer. It was a good deal for him. It got rid of my last house in the city of Akran, which I do not want to own properties in. But there's nothing wrong with the house. There's nothing wrong with the tenant. It's just sitting there making money every month. So why not just keep it? Timing was really important. They just made it illegal to do that in New York City. You have to give, and I believe the way it's written, a 30-day ride over the road. Keep the way it's written, a 30-day ride over the road to any NGOs.
And if you're like, but no, I want to sell it to my stepbrother. I want to sell it to my neighbor. I want to sell it to my children. You're not allowed to sell a building unless the NGOs get to bid on it. And then if you get an offer by somebody, you have to give them, get this 120 days to match the offer and buy it and you still have to sell it to them. Wow. Wow. That is absolutely going to crash. Either the market or the government may be both. Hopefully the government. Oh. Wow. How are people not like flocking to the streets and protests, so to speak? Wow. And one city councilwoman was quite upset. You can care her on acts. It was nice. So yeah, that's what they did there. And you see, I walked away from a sale because it went. And he was a couple weeks over the deadline. I was fine with that as long as he didn't cross the end of the year. Imagine if you have to build in. Would he get a 30 days in advance and then 60 days to sell it?
And then 120 days right of refusal? Wow. And then when do you start the bank loan and stuff? I'm not going to pay for appraisals and stuff until after that 120, 120 day period. So we've got three, seven. You won't be able to sell any property that falls under that for in less than 10 months to a year. I think that is the absolute best case scenario. It'll take 10 months to a year to sell. Wow. That's crazy. Either you own it or you don't. No, we need to stand up for the Constitution. And if you don't believe in the Constitution, I've got another book that talks about exactly the same thing right after this. Have you ever loved one been affected by inflation? We have the product for you. Hard assets that hold their value like the real power family silk around are available at American Gold Exchange. You can visit American Gold Exchange at AMERgold.com
or by calling 1-800-613-9323. Welcome back to The Real Power Family Radio Show and Dad. You're talking about how the government isn't listening to the Constitution. But if they're not listening to that, there's another book that you had referenced. Where is this going? You don't know. All right. Well, I'm going to break this down for you. There's a guy walking along. Mine in his own business. And let us call it the leadership of the place. Comes up and they start questioning him. And they try and back him into a corner and trap him. And what they say is, I read on X, you said you're not going to pay your taxes. And, you know, just like I would say, that's not what I said. I said I don't know why I pay my taxes. I do believe it is theft. That I never once said I'm not going to pay my taxes. I'm going to find every legal way to not pay them.
I'm going to decrease them as much as I possibly can. But I am not going to just flat out lie. I would never lie on the return. I would be more likely to just not file a return period. But that's not even being contemplated right now. I might sell my stuff out of the city so I don't have to support it. I've done that in multiple cities. I might up and buy a bunch of stuff down in Tennessee and Alabama and then sell off my properties in Ohio. I'm not going to get rid of all my real estate. I'm going to replace it before I sell it. But once I have enough purchase down there to live, then I can sell all the stuff I have up here and get away from their property taxes. So, see, these are the ways I'm going around this. And I also have another way that I'm doing this. And this is just one way that what this old guy said. He wasn't that old. But this is what he said to the older guys that were trying to trap him. He goes, take out that coin that you say I'm supposed to pay. Whose picture is on that coin?
What is its inscription? And they look at the coin that was supposed to be used to pay the taxes. And what is on the coin that you need to pay your taxes, Devon? Is it a picture of a dead president? Nowadays, yes. And it doesn't say the full faith and credit of the United States government. I believe so. And it is not federal and doesn't have reserves, but it does say it's a federal reserve promissory note. I happen to agree with this guy. And I'm thinking probably some of our listeners know exactly which book I read this in. If not, you should check it out. It's a good book. We'll just leave it at that. But he said, let's see, render unto Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's. So, give the federal government their fiat currency back. Hey, your taxes. But what is that Gresham's law? If you pay your taxes. You pay them with the worst money out there, the currency, the stuff that loses value.
If, however, you want to save, that's not necessarily the problem. Because one of these comments on X. Oh, and that other guy probably didn't have X where he came from. We'll just leave it at that. I was probably too smart to ever get wrapped up in social media. Yes. Yeah. If he, uh, where was he going with that? If they're liless, say something. Well, I think the big part of this is the government wants you to pay your taxes. But if you're paying them in fiat currency or the currency that's losing value, you're giving back to them something that is worth less. When you give it to them, then it was when you got it to start with. Is that where you're going with that? Kind of, yeah, actually. And they also try and convince you, which is the worst part, they convince you to save in their currency and put it in their banks, which wasn't absolutely awful in the 80s because you could get a reasonable return on your investment in the 80s.
Now, you have to factor in. Most people, their minds just don't think it's not like they're not smart enough to do fourth grade math. Of course they are. It is that they don't realize the government lives to you and says inflation is 3%. But it's really 5 or 6. And then if you can go out, even if you're smart enough to think about it and you find a way to get a 4% return on your money, you know, or if there is a bank that's willing to pay 4% and you perceive that as no risk, I just put, it's like money in the bank, which I do not consider safe. Even if you're under the 250,000 FDIC limits, I still don't, but that's another story we've talked about over and over. Yeah, if you put it in at 4%, and the government says 3%, you're not getting 4% interest, you're getting 1%. And you have to look at the reality of the fact that you're not really getting 1% return, you're actually losing 2%. Because real inflation is 6. Minus the 4, even though you put $100 in the bank and it goes up to 104,
it cost you $106 to buy the same amount of goods and services as you did a year ago before you put it in. And these numbers are constantly changing. That's why and the way they measure them is constantly changing. Always for the worst though, it's never gotten better for us that I know of. Worse for us better for the government because they're the ones that make up the rules. So they convince you to save and at one point in time if you could get yet 10% interest on a CD and inflation was 8%, that wasn't awful. And then they beat down inflation thanks to Volker and it got down very low and you could still get 4%, and a pretty much no hassle placed to store your money. Well, that's not bad. If you store it in a currency that's losing 5% or 6%, which I believe it is right now, it's probably real inflation is probably 5% or 6%. And you're getting .1. I looked at CDs that the special CDs, the bank that I go to, my favorite bank, the one I love the most.
They're advertising up to .35% return on a CD. So you guarantee to lock your up your money. A third of a percent of interest when you're paying 18 times more in the inflation loss. Wow. So this is my interpretation wrapping all this together. Give unto Caesar what a Caesar's pay the government in their own Federal Reserve notes. But save and what Robert Kiyosaki has referred to in God's money. What is he called gold? He's usually called it God's money. Exactly. It was made before or with the beginning of the earth. It was here way before us. It'll be here long after we're gone. This is the money. Gold and silver. You know, they were made in the creation of the earth itself. Whether some being snapped as fingers or we came together into comments and there was a big ban, it doesn't matter.
We're certain it was made then, right? Or it was floating in space and coalesced then, if you will. What do we save our pent up store to value in? Gold, silver, right. And right after this break, I will come back and tell you if you don't have $5,000 laying around to buy an ounce of gold, what you can do. We'll be right back. Brushwood, media network. Every parent wants their kids to be successful. And today's world, getting them the right knowledge to do this can be a challenge. My husband and I decided to homeschool our kids and give them a financial and real world education, rather than making them memorize things they would probably never use. Our results are kids who became financially free before they could drive with no money or credit from us. Now at 16 and 13, they co-host our real power family radio show, and Devon is in his third year of college. How can you give your kids a head start like this? Check out our book, Family Success Triangle, which outlines the lessons we taught our kids.
We want you to achieve amazing results at any age. Get your copy of Family Success Triangle on Amazon today. And be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel at Real Power Family. And listen to the Real Power Family radio show Monday through Friday at 7 a.m. on the Brushwood, media network. Welcome back to the Real Power Family radio show, where we were just talking about taxes and inflation and a little bit more, and dad, you had brought up the quote not too long ago about render onto Caesars with Caesars and onto God, what is God's? And we were also just talking about how gold it was here probably well before us, and it will likely be here long after we're gone. It is pretty interesting to rub my wedding ring and know that this has been here since the beginning of time. It's never changed. It's exactly the same. I mean, they formed it into a ring that my wife gave me 25 years ago, and it's still the same.
And a million years from now, it'll maybe be crushed or melted, but the molecules will all be exactly the same. They're not going to really interact or react with other things. Just interesting. I love that part. Well, Kiyosaki, I love how he says that he also, he not only says it, you know, gold is God's money, which totally makes sense to me. Because what are they always talking about the Bible? It's over. The denarius, right? What is it that he also says? Gold is rich people's money. And if you think about it, middle class people can buy gold, but how much are you really going to collect? Especially now, I mean, you bought in a few years ago, that would have been wildly different. It was a lot easier. But now, just to get it, not the 400 ounce bar that you see, but at 10 ounce bar, you can literally put it in your hand, wrap your fingers around it, and it's like the size of a roll of pennies. You can literally hide it at 10 ounce bar in your hand of gold. It's so dense. If you have moderately large hands, probably not Lila.
But yeah, we could mainly cover it up. That's how small 10 ounces of gold is. That's $45,000 in silver to get $40,000 ounces of silver. You can buy a monster box right now that we were buying 500 ounces of silver at a time, and they were under 10,000, like $9,698, so I bought five of them. Now, I just looked up last night. $40,000 to get one monster box of silver, Devon. That's heavy. If you don't know five ounces, somebody can do the math, but you feel it when you're moving that around. That's not necessarily something you want to throw in your backpack and walk across the state with. No. But a 10 ounce bar of gold, I'll stick that in my pocket. I mean, I wouldn't, obviously, because I don't want to carry $40,000 on my pocket. But if I needed to, to take significant value somewhere, it'd be easy enough, and you could walk for a hundred miles and not really realize it was there.
In fact, you could put many 10 ounce bars. 50 of them would get heavy, but you could carry five or 10 pretty easy. So there's, you know, almost half a million dollar. Well, 12 of them, 12 to 14, that's about half a million dollars right now. If you look at it, silver truly is the middle class money. You might have some gold, but it's hard right now to go out and even buy an ounce of gold. And most middle class people would never have a chance to go out and say, oh, yeah, send me an ounce of gold every, every payday. So my buddy in the Air Force, he just allocated X amount and he was getting multiple ounces of silver. He goes, I couldn't believe it thought that cheated me. He goes, I've always paid the same amount. And I don't know if it's like a hundred bucks or something. He goes, there were so many like five ounces of silver every month. And my wife called up and said, there's something wrong. They only sent us one ounce. And what he does is straight out of his paycheck, I think a hundred or 200 bucks or whatever goes into his silver account. And whenever he gets a full ounce of silver, they mail it to him. So when he sent him a hundred dollars and silver costs 75, he only got one ounce.
And he's like, I can't believe I was just throwing that we get the bags out and every event open. I just tossed him in the shoe box after the first handful of months. Now he's in Qatar and she's getting it and she calls him. She's like, yeah, this one's really light. I opened it. There's only one ounce in there. But soldiers aren't overpaid by any stretch of the imaginations, especially not sergeants. And if he can go out and throw and buy a couple of ounces or even one ounce or one and a third ounce every month without any hassle, that's a good way for him to store his money. I'm glad he took my advice on that many, many years ago and has been doing it for years without even thinking it just came out of his paycheck. So that goes to show that silver really is easily the middle class money. I don't know, but if you're living paycheck to paycheck and I know people don't like to think of themselves as poor. But if you're getting government handouts, if you're living in government housing, if you're on SNAP, EBT, food stamps, government cheese, whatever they're going to call it next,
you might not have $80 later. Then again, you're getting your hair nails done because everything else is paid for. Maybe you do have $80 laying around. If you do, go out and buy some silver and store it there just in case all of that government assistance goes away. But I think there's a lot to what Kiyosaki said that gold is the rich man's money and silver is the middle class money. What's the poor man's money? What still holds value that we also buy and stockpile because not only is it incredible useful. If bad things ever happened, it is very easily tradable. It's good for barter. Wow. What is that? Oh, come on. Anything you're normally with me when I buy it. I'm confused. I don't know. It's you other precious metals brass and lead. Wow. Okay. Oh, but yeah, ammo is a really good way, especially if you live in places like I do. Maybe not so great in Manhattan. But out here, it's really nice to have plenty of ammo.
You can generally find a friend that will trade you a steak for a box of ammo or maybe a bunch of steaks. And if you want a bunch of steaks, all it takes is one cartridge out of that box to create those venison steaks for yourself. That's true. That is very true. See, I think there's a lot. And if you don't know, we're talking about Robert Kiyosaki, one of our biggest mentors. When we first got started, first book I ever literally the first business book I ever read my life after years of my mom beating me and saying, you've got to read this. And I refuse to do it. Just don't make your mom get so upset. Just go out and buy rich dead port and read it if you haven't already. And anybody that's in any type of business is probably already read it. It's the number one business book and the history of the world. It is literally the Bible to start your business. So that's he's got some great ideas. So we learned a lot from him. It's just a great guy. I hope everything goes well. Whatever he gets in life, he deserves more of it because he's helped so many of us. Even though he doesn't know it and it was an honor to get to meet him again. We met when we first got started and shook his hand at a book signing.
But it was an honor to actually just stop and talk to him down in New Orleans a couple months ago. So thank you for all you do just in case you happen to be listening. Yes. And I did not my mom's like, did you tell him I love him so much? He changed my life. So you have really affected a lot of people out there. That's what we hope to do. And back to some of the things he says, yeah, gold is rich people money. And if you can get that great, if not stockpile silver. So in this newsletter that I wrote, we talk about what you can do. I don't only buy silver. I have gold and I have silver and I have ammo because that's useful. And if you are against guns and you're never going to own one, I'm okay with that. And I don't know how you feel, but as long as you store ammo in a cool dry place, then it'll last a long time. So if you think maybe it would be useful for you to have some of that, put it in a safe, put it up on the top shelf where kids can't get to it.
I mean, it's not that dangerous without a firearm to put it in. Like even if you don't have a clue what you're doing, it's really hard to hurt yourself with that. I can't, they literally have you can have it in a burning building and it won't go off. It's not like what you see in the movies. You can drop it off of a building and it won't go off. It needs to be inside of a barrel to channel the pressure or it just kind of pops. And firefighters running in, it wouldn't even go through a half inch sheet of drywall. Do you have any idea how easy it is to punch through a half inch sheet of drywall? If not, go check my next move out. You'll see. So you say you could like fry it in a frying pan and you'd pretty much be fine. Yes, and I'm not right. Do not do this. And I'm just saying I watched somebody literally they got in firefighters and turnout gear or running in. So they did have some protective gear on, but it's meant for heat, you know, a ballistic shield like the cops. Oh, I thought I felt something. I guess a couple of things bounced off me, but it didn't leave any type of bruise alone break through the fire fighter outfit, the turnout gear or anything.
Yeah, great video. I'm not trying to convince you to buy unless you actually believe in that are going to use it. And if solvers to getting too expensive, that is an alternative. I mean, it is amazing how many people want a cheap box of 22 rounds just for plinking around and practicing. And how many rabbits and squirrels can you get with a 22 with a box of you have 522 rounds? A lot. You can live for a really, really long time on that food. And even our friend Ian, who was terrified of guns, I got her to shoot a 22 over and over. It's that has like no recoil. So take a safety. If you don't know what you're doing, find somebody that does when I say take a safety course, it doesn't need to be a professional course you pay from just find some has been hunting their whole life and raised with guns and learn safety before you touch a firearm, but there's another way to store your value. And what is another way? If you earn it and you're going to pay your taxes, follow laws and find a way to legally diminish them to the absolute maximum, to the minimum you can maximize your deductions, do everything you can learn about tax law.
And we talk about a lot of ways to do that owning real estate is a really, really good way. Just depreciation in and of itself is incredible. And all of these people are like, oh, we're going to think this away, you know, this is unfair for the rich people. No, it's not. If you take away what they think are loopholes and incentives, the entire monetary system crashes. There are no rental properties and 40% of Americans are homeless. How many businesses would go broke if they changed the laws in the way that like blessing wants to change him in Ohio? A lot of things would hurt because the government uses those tax incentives to encourage people to do the things they want done. Like for example, getting more rental properties out there or in other cases, perhaps that's drilling for oil or how many other things are out there where we want more people to do this. So we're going to give them incentives in the form of lower taxes or tax right off.
So back to the original question, should I quit paying taxes? Well, you can't quit paying the gas tax. It's literally in there. You swipe your credit card to the gas pump or walk in and pay cash no matter what you're paying that. You can't quit paying if you don't pay your property tax, they're going to take away your property within a handful of years. So are people talking income tax? Well, if you're employee, what are you going to do? No one person's like file exempt and other one says, tell me I have way more dependence or whatever you put on your W4 change your W4 with HR. But they're still sending proof to the IRS you owe this with your W2 and now you have a paid in. So now it's screaming, I lied to you and didn't file. It's just it's set up so it's very, very easy to be caught if you try to cheat as an employee. And yet, while I pay in advance, if you own the business, you play by totally different rules and if you're the employee and it's not even the ownership, anybody can start their own company.
It costs $99 and I'll how to start an LLC and then you go out and bill out. I talked to your account and lawyer to set all this upright, but you play by different tax rules and it's significantly better for you and figure out if you need an S corp or a C corp or an LLC or eliminated it. I have a whole list of them. I wrote a big section. I'm not going to talk about it now because I'm out of time. But in that same seven part newsletter series, I wrote this big section on what entity to use for what? How does this benefit you? How's that? It'll give you a starting point. You might still need an accountant and a lawyer to help you, but it teaches you the difference of what question to ask the accountant, which one to ask the lawyer? Because if you ask the wrong one, they'll give you the lawyer will give the lawyer answer the accountant will give you the accountant answer and they might contradict. Don't ask an accountant for a lawyer answer. Don't ask a lawyer for an accountant answer. But again, for more of a description, read that and it gets really hard to not pay your taxes without being crushed by the government.
So what do you do? Go about it. I mean, I think I'm doing it right. You go about it the way we are. You go after the worst possible tax there is a tax on unrealized capital gains that they can continuously they charge you every year. It's not like sales tax you buy it and pay for it once they charge it every single year that you own an asset and they can raise it as much as they want without your permission. And if you go and say that's ridiculous, it didn't go up that much. The people that raised your property taxes are the ones that tell you, oh yeah, we think we're right and you're wrong. The people that get the money to decide how much money they get not to be able to pay it. So that is why we have billboards all over Ohio for abolishing property taxes because we are one of the worst. We're the eighth worst in the entire nation for the amount of property taxes and for a third of the counties are really going up again next year or this year in 2026.
They went up in 2025 like 40% in Ohio was my personal increase of my tax bill. So how do you not pay taxes? I am going after them. I am fighting with House Bill 88 92. Is it the water bill? Yes. House Bill 92 were going and testifying and getting that so they can't attach leans to my property. So I'm fighting them trying to get laws changed legislatively. I'm going to the Supreme Court to get illegal law or unconstitutional laws thrown out. And so I'm fighting them judicially and I'm trying to change the constitution. I'm challenging them constitutionally with this amendment to abolish property taxes. That is my path to not paying taxes or at least decreasing. And if you say of course we'll always have to pay taxes. Yeah, we might always have to pay taxes and it should be something that's not so insidious that you lose your home after you've paid off the mortgage and lived there for 40 or 50 years.
You should never be worried about losing your home. These farmers, if they want to go out and mortgage their property and then their kids lose it because they can't pay the mortgage. Well, that was dad's fault. If you mortgage it and can't pay the mortgage, that's your fault. But you should never ever be in a position where you can't stay on your farm. Because, and we have lost many, many, I think it's hundreds of thousands of farms recently. And a lot of that is because of these outrageous property taxes. They can't make enough money to pay the property taxes. That's just not right. So that is why we're going after that. I think it's one of the worst taxes out there. And once we beat that, another, you know, going after the city, I'm picking the worst ones and I'm attacking it through all of the appropriate branches of government. If you want to be involved, check out Axe Ohio Tax Axe OHTax.com or shoot us an email info at ClearSkyTrainer.com. And we'll hook you up with the people that are doing this, Lila and Devon are collecting signatures.
If you really want to take action on not paying taxes and don't want other bank accounts frozen and your assets seized, then let's get a group of us together that are doing it the constitutional way, even for not the legal way is the constitutional way to change the unconstitutional laws and using the legal system to do that. You've got to be involved, but go about it the right way. Devon, we always have to be standing up for the right thing for what's ethical and moral. And as my mom put it, we have to go through things the right way. And that's not always the easy way. Again, for the property tax thing, that's Axe OHTax.com or there's a link at realpowerfamily.com. During every fourth turning, there has been incredible bloodshed in America, the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World War II.
This is the next fourth turning that we are having. It's happening right now between now and 2033 probably it will be complete if not before. I would love, please let us make it through this dramatic change, this fourth turning without massive bloodshed. That's why I'm saying let's do this the right way. We're not pushed into a corner bad enough that everybody should just say no, I'm not paying no matter what. And if that time comes, we'll make the decision then. But I say go push and let's just elect leaders that actually want to follow into what we say. Let's own our eyes and see the fraud waste and abuse and get rid of it. That way they don't need the taxes as much. But I think we could pay way, way less than taxes and have plenty of great schools and firefighters will all be paid and libraries will be open. I don't think there's anywhere near all these people that are afraid of losing public services. I think it's total BS.
We just need to be as even half as efficient as a business person is with the government and they would have way more money than they needed. Think about that and we'll be back next week.
