Farewell to Beloved Florist Elaine Heyfron

0:00On March 26, friends and family said goodbye to beloved florist Elaine Heyfront at her funeral in North London. The 52-year-old passed away on February 17, while on a family trip in Spain. A procession with white horses and a saxophonist led mourners to St. Dominic's primary church, where floral tributes line the street outside. Elaine grew up in Queens, Crescent, and ran flower stalls in local markets, like Finchley Road and Kenneshtown, for more than 25 years. She built a strong reputation in the community, always bringing cheer with her vibrant displays and warm personality. As one of five sisters, she was a proud mom to Tasha, Harry, and Laney, and shared a debon with her partner, Peter Boone, whom she called her. Soulmate, her fun sayings captured her lively spirit, making her memorable to everyone she met. The Catholic service featured hymns, psalms, and a reading from St. Paul's Letter to the Romans, with music like Ave Maria and Cumbaya.

1:00Tributes included a royal-style floral crown on the hers, a bouquet shaped like a vodka bottle, and one for her dog, Teddy. After the service, she was laid to rest at Islington and St. Pancras Cemetery in East Finchley, followed by a wake at the Mill Hill Services Club. Her family is keeping her Finchley Road stall going in her memory, honoring her legacy with every flower they sell.
