Farabee, Gridin Heroics Lift Flames Over Blues

The Calgary Flames grab the tight 2-1 win over the St. Louis Blues in a shootout on Wednesday night. Joel Faribi and Rookie Motveg-Riden delivered the deciding goals, while Conner's Erie put Calgary ahead early in the first period. Devin Cooley stood strong and net for the Flames, with 26 saves. And St. Louis' Dylan Holloway, even things up early in the second. St. Louis's goalie Joel Hofer, turned aside 31 shots but couldn't close it out. The Blues video coach made a big impact by challenging three Flames goals that got wiped off the board in the first 40 minutes. They kept the game close in St. Louis's 8-game winning streak against Calgary.
