The Atlanta Falcons have released wide receiver Darnel Mooney just 4 days before Free Agency begins. Mooney had a strong first year with the team, but saw his performance drop sharply last season. Over his first 6 seasons in the league, he averaged 13 yards per catch, but things didn't click as hoped in Atlanta. At 28 years old, Mooney now enters a crowded free agent market for wide receivers. That pool includes names like Alec Pierce, Rashish Aheed, Mike Evans, and Stefan Diggs with plenty more talent available.
