Falcons Pursue Tua Tagovailoa as Dolphins Release Him

The Miami Dolphins have told Quarterback to Otago Veloa that he will be released when the new league year starts this week. Word is spreading fast that the Atlanta Falcons are very interested in signing him as their next starter. NFL Insider Adam Schaefter reports that the Falcons plan to make a strong push for Tago Veloa once he hits free agency. This move comes as Atlanta looks to stabilize their quarterback spot after a tough stretch. Tago Veloa spent six years with the dolphins, but only played a full season once, back in 2023. That year he threw for more than 4,000 passing yards, showing his potential. Over his entire career, he has 120 touchdown passes compared to just 59 interceptions. Still, injuries and team issues held him back in Miami. A change to Atlanta could give him the fresh start he needs, especially with the dolphins facing ongoing challenges.
