Explosion at Jewish School in Amsterdam, Islamic Group Claims Responsibility

0:00On March 14th, an explosion hit a Jewish school on the south side of Amsterdam early this morning. Dutch officials say the blast caused only limited damage and no one was hurt. Police and firefighters rush to the scene right away and they're now checking camera footage that shows someone lighting the device. A group called the Islamic Movement of the Companions of the Right has claimed responsibility online. They posted a video of a person setting off the blast before driving away. This would be their fourth claim to attack this week across Europe following arson at synagogues in Rotterdam and Liege in Belgium. Amsterdam's mayor called the incident an unacceptable act amid rising anti-Semitism targeting Jewish people in the city. Security was already stepped up at synagogues and Jewish sites in the capital because of those recent fires. Investigators haven't confirmed the group's involvement yet.
