Ex-Pride CEO Admits Contempt of Court

0:00On April 23rd, the former CEO of Pride in London, Christopher Joel Deshields, just admitted he's in contempt of court for not handing back Logan, details to social media, bank accounts, and other company gear after getting fired last month. He'd been running the show since 2021, but got the boot over claims he blew more than 7,000 pounds in vouchers meant for, volunteers on stuff like speakers, earphones, and fancy cologne for personal use. Pride folks worried he was plotting a rival group with their confidential info, so they hit the courts and a judge ordered him to return everything. Back in September, but he didn't comply until now. This week, the judge accepted his admission on failing to cough up passwords for Facebook, PayPal, YouTube, and more. Plus documents and a phone sim, card, he also copped to skipping a witness statement. Focusing set for June or July, where he could face up to two years inside, or a big fine, but Pride's pushing ahead with a new interim boss to keep.
