Ex-Gym Teacher Jailed for Decades-Old Abuse

Christopher Charles Frost, a 78-year-old living in Albury, was found guilty on nine counts against four boys under 16. The crimes took place in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The abuse happened over five years at a boys high school, in Wagawaga, and the local gymnastics school where Frost worked. It involved touching the victims inappropriately and using force or threats to stop them from speaking out. Victims told the court the trauma lingers today, wrecking their trust in others, mental health, and even job stability. Some battled severe anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. They also said the school back then cared more about its image than protecting kids. In court, the judge pointed out the long pattern across multiple victims and Frost ongoing denial of guilt.
