EW Podcast - Team EarthWorks - Year End Review 2022
About this episode
Traditionally, at year's end, the EarthWorks team of agronomists gets together to look back and review. This year we talked about the weather around the country and the struggles that many of our friends in the turf business battled through. We also discussed the state of the industry and what we have heard may be emerging trends. A few new ideas coming out of the development halls of EarthWorks came up, and as often happens with this team a round table talk of chemistry made the conversation. One of the more interesting topics is the work of Dr. White, from Rutgers University, who is lecturing on a subject he calls Rhizophagy. This is a phenomenon in the soil where microbes enter the root system of the plant. The plant then harvests minerals from the microbes and sends them back into the soil to start the process all over again. Most importantly, we want to thank all of you for helping us continue our journey. And finally, we wish everyone the very best and safest of holiday seasons.
