After the United States put a pause on strikes against Iran, President Donald Trump said that he is prepared to order resumption of “strong military action” against Tehran if negotiations fail, warning they have little time to reach a deal. Benjamin Netanyahu’s Washington visit this week could determine whether Israel joins renewed strikes as the Iran war enters a two-day diplomatic pause. Meanwhile, Iran issued a second warning to Ukraine following what Tehran said was an attack on a vessel in the Caspian Sea.
