A new poll shows that not only most Canadians favour Pierre Poilievre to Justin Trudeau, but even those who voted for Trudeau in 2021 are split on whether he should step down ahead of the next election. While the polls have consistently bad for the Liberals, Trudeau has been unequivocal that he plans to contest the next election – and his caucus has been in lockstep behind him.
