Erwin Ballarta has been described to me as "the most dangerous guy in the room" by people I consider to be dangerous themselves! Erwin is a life long long martial artist, DT instructor, Former Texas DPS officer, coffee entrepreneur, and one of the most soft spoken and fascinating men you'll ever meet! This interview took place at his office for the Texas Police Assoc in early June of 2020. This is the original version of the episode. You can certainly tell how rigid I still was back then!
