In this episode we’re joined by Eric Mendell. Eric is a leading expert in the Jewelry and Watch industry. He and his brother David are co-owners of Kerns Fine Jewelry, a retailer that for 80 years has specialized in Fine Jewelry, Swiss Timepieces, Corporate Gifts and Tabletop objects. Eric graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in Political Science and has a Graduate Degree in Gemology from the Gemological Institute of America. He joins Ashley to talk about his life managing a family business, and how the fine jewelry world is ultimately about trust, close relationships and family. He talks about the value of Fine Jewelry and Swiss Timepieces, including passing them down to the next generation.
