Eric Dane's Fight Against ALS: A Legacy of Strength

He shared his diagnosis publicly less than a year ago and fought the disease until the end. Dane built a strong career with stand-out roles like Dr. Mark Sloan, known as Mcsteamy, on Grey's Anatomy from 2006 to 2012. And later as, troubled dad Cal Jacobs on Euphoria right up to his final days. He also capped in a navy ship in the post-apocalyptic series The Last Ship. His family shared that he spent his last moments with his wife, two daughters, and close friends who meant everything to him. Fans and colleagues have poured out love, remembering his charm on screen and his real life's strength. In his battle with ALS, Dane turned advocate, pushing for awareness, better health policies, and research funding.
