Episode One - The Day He Disappeared

About this episode

12-year-old Terry Floyd disappeared on June 28, 1975, from the small Victorian town of Avoca.

Journalist Dee Dee Dunleavy re-traces Terry’s last known steps with Daryl Floyd, who has spent the last five decades searching for his brother.

Former Homicide Detective Charlie Bezzina explains why Terry went from his home town of Maryborough to Avoca that day, and how he got there.

We hear the voices of Terry’s mate Peter Holland, and of the father of another of his friends, who was one of the last people to see him alive.

Terry’s parents despair at realising that their son might never be coming home.

Victoria Police has a one million dollar reward on offer for information that leads to the conviction of Terry Floyd’s killer.
