About this episode
On today's episode, Dennis speaks with OIS survivor, Riley Mauch.
On Dec 01, 2021 Riley was a detective assigned to his departments SET (Special Enforcement Team). It was a Wednesday and he had just started a three day multi-agency op, specifically targeting certain members of a local gang who had outstanding warrants. Specifically, warrants for gun related charges.
One of the members, was a 20 year old named Anei Joker, who along with gun charges was wanted in questioning for a child rape case in their city. He had also did a drive by shooting at the rape victim’s home the morning of the OIS.
Today, Ryan shares his OIS story, the events that unfolded the day of the incident, the injuries he sustained, how he overcome adversity and how he is still recovering today.
