Episode 80: "TAP: Troutwine Athletic Profile", Dr. Robert Troutwine

About this episode

The MAP boys sit down with Dr. Robert Troutwine, who is the developer of his namesake assessment – the Troutwine Athletic Profile – known more commonly as “TAP” – it is an athletic assessment that measures the mental intangibles important for success in sports.

He has over 30 years of experience working primarily as a research and development psychological scientist with pro sports organizations – the military – corporations – law firms. You may have heard of some of his clients – the NE Patriots, Ford, Sprint and the US Navy Seals to name a few.

He is best known for his work in sports – he coached football in the early 80’s before he was hired by the Kansas City Chiefs in 1984.

He has independently consulted with dozens of professional and college sports teams on such topics as assessment, coaching, and the development of athletes.

In 2019, Dr. Troutwine co-founded Ryzer Mindset to bring his proprietary TAP assessment to the global athletic market.

You can find the assessment at www.ryzer.com
