This week I sat down with the artist known as Lazarus the Great. Lazarus is a musician who is originally from Alabama but moved to Florida with his mother after his parents divorced. We talked about what the differences were between going to school in Alabama compared to going to one of the nicest schools in Jacksonville, we talked about our thoughts on religion, what it was like for him to deal with racism due to being African American and Latino and finally we talked about his new single he put out called “Don’t You”.
