About this episode
Dale discusses the fascinating topic of Esoteric or Inner Christianity. It’s not a religious discussion per se, it’s uncovering the deeper more mystical interpretations of the Old & New Testament and how the true meaning refers to, amongst other things, psychological and emotional aspects of yourself. During the discussion, Dale shares practical rules on how to live so as to interact with the metaphysical force one may refer to as ‘God’, and how to live in alignment with the Universe.

Right, you want to know what's going on in this crazy world? Well, you've come to the right place. This is the Waking World podcast. And if you know there's some of you that have actually listened to the other seven episodes because this is episode eight, you'll know what's going on. But all you new people, you don't quite know everything that's going on yet, so you should go back and listen to the other ones. Anyway, the Waking World podcast is basically me and a guy called Toby talking interesting shizz about things like the occult, conspiracy theory, secret magical orders, all kinds of crazy stuff. So, you're trying to piece together what the hell's going on in the world, trying to uncover some hidden information. This episode is actually about religion, but please don't switch off. It's not religion in the traditional sense. We're actually digging into mysticism and how that translates or shows itself within religious texts. Lots of stuff that a lot of people don't know. Traditional religious people don't necessarily know this instruction manual on how to live your life so that your life becomes good and you can interact with the universe around you. So, make sure you listen to this and follow the instructors like a tank to fight.
Right, so that's happening. A freshman cause we've been chatting for the best part of 25 minutes. Maybe longer, but we're just going to do it. Here we're doing it. Let's jump right into it. So, right. Episode eight, Waking World podcast, Dailant Toby. I think it's going quite well. We're quite pleased with it. I'm really enjoying it. I'm enjoying it because I think there's a coherency across subject matter and I've been looking forward to today's presentation because I think it can take things back to more of a practical approach to how to bring a sense of peace into your life. This one for everyone listening has been what I've been quite excited about because while Dail has been a perfect gentleman and allowing me to wax philosophical about so many subjects, one of the things that really moved me when I first sat down and chewed the fat with Dail about these subjects was his conception of reaching a state in accordance with divinity,
not pushing any religious angle, but rather just giving an account of some of the life rules that he came across. So, I thought it would be a good idea, or we both thought it would be a good idea this week to go into what Dail has experienced in bringing that into his own life. Yeah, all right. Good. So, let's see how eloquently Toby delivered that even just that beginning bit of information and then my bit will be a little bit wee and a bit woo. And I'm looking at that. I can see the bars on the recording thing. Toby's little sound bars are all mellow and nice and cool and like they're all like fucking lunacy. Anyway, I'll try and make it reasonably coherent if I can. But I was going to ask you something first. So, and look, and I always, there's always a little bit of preamble, but the reality is I'm not a spiritual teacher, I'm not a historian, I'm not a Bible scholar, I'm just a dude. Like I run my own business, nothing to do with any of this shit.
It's the most mundane job, you know, office job that I do on my own. This isn't what I do for a living and I'm going to try to paint a bit of a picture and maybe take it on a little bit of a journey and give you some of my experiences. But because it's metaphysical, there's, I can't prove anything to you and I can't guarantee that the information that I'm going to come out with is even going to make a lot of sense because I'm trying to describe something that is the metaphysical and spiritual and really it's a realization that's happened to me individually, uniquely for me. And whether that means anything to anyone else, I don't know, but I can share that experience. But what I was going to ask Toby was, because I never really asked this question, when you got into the occultie bit, what was it you wanted to be able to achieve? Like what did you do it for?
Because obviously it was your hell is to crally all bit kind of glamorous and a bit edgy and always doing all this stuff and magic and this, that and the other and intention and can do it. But what did you want to do it for? Like why? I know you're interested in it, but what did you want to, what were you hoping to achieve at the end of it? As strange as this most sound, and perhaps I'm putting my interpretation now as a 30-year-old man onto something that was talismanic for me when I was a 13-year-old boy. But what I wanted to do in essence was to quieten my mind. I found that there was something in this that allowed me to enter the flow states that we described earlier on. I found that in part taking in meditative practice, whether that be actually going out to completely absent the brain of thought or to adopt an image in mind consistently enough that nothing
else was there, I found that in those respective states I experienced a piece that I hadn't experienced. Did you know that's what you wanted before you started doing it? I wouldn't necessarily say as a 13-year-old, that's what I consciously called you. But when it was colour titillating and it was a bit, you know, this would be a bit cool when you're 13 and you said that right at the beginning. But what are people into these things for on that? Why is someone get, I know I've asked you this before, but really, why are people getting into the OTO or are they getting into free masonry or any of those other things? Let's not, so ignore the ones that, if you're getting into free masonry, you're just getting into it for a business network. But the ones who want to learn stuff, like, you know, mystery teachings, what do they want to get out of it at the end? Do they want to be able to actually perform actual magic or are they wanting to have some connection with a some entity or divine field?
Is that all they want to do? Or, it's like, because I don't know what the reason is to get into it. And then are they wanting to get into it because they want, they've heard that there's some, let's call it magical force that you can interact with. They've heard about that and they think the only way that they can have any interaction with it is to go down these routes. Is that, would that be right or not? Or is that total ballad? It's very true. I think if I were, I can distill my answer down to two different approaches and the language that I'm going to use is actually something that I thought, well, you introduced me to, which is that concept of the north south and the east west. And to be more precise about that, are you connecting to something that transcends the boundaries of this world with all of those ups and downs, connecting to the divine directly, or are you looking to have a bit of a play around in this world of form? And I would say that the second of those explanations probably applies to the vast majority.
But is that because they don't know the first bit? It necessarily is a real thing. Absolutely. I would say that we wake up in this world, whatever condition we've been carnated into, I mean, the existentialists call it kind of form of abandonment. We kind of wake up here. We're in a world with a narrative that's already been going on. We've had this identity put on us and then we try to make sense of what it's all for. So it's perfectly understandable. But as we begin to mature and feel our urges and our desires and our connection to things that we regard as good or bad, we want to kind of play around with them. We want to manipulate them on one level. Human beings are very selfish organisms and there's nothing wrong with that. But I do subscribe to the view that Plato had, Plato himself had actually in the early stages of his development before he begins his association with Socrates. It would appear that he would have gone to Egypt like a lot of the Athenian elite did in their grand tours.
And would have been exposed to those teachings, he was exposed to the teachings of Pythagoras, who was himself a magician. But Plato had a very good point when he was kind of discussing his ethics of the human person as it relates to divinity. And he said, you know, through the mouthpiece of Socrates, when an individual has true knowledge of the good, true knowledge of the North, South, axis. They're actually incapable of doing evil. They're incapable of all that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, perfect. And that's what I think happens at one point, but until that happens, we are in this realm without desires. Because when you mention a soon... Oh, FYI, I had drinks for a John last time and it made such a noise in the background. I didn't realise until 2010 minutes into our talk. It was really annoying because I had to go back and... I don't know how to use this editing software properly.
It's so frustrating. It's a wonderful, chill beverage. I was so well-dressed. So now we've got that off. I've got the fucking air conditioner on, but I want it on low. But if it's on low, it's going to vibrate the walls of the office. So I was going to be constantly pressing that button. But anyway, it doesn't matter. What we're talking about? Yeah, right, so. Cut, so... I think Jesus was this manic. Absolutely, absolutely. You didn't know of a term those tables in the temple without having that file. Yeah, no, of course he wasn't. Yeah, so whenever you think of... When this definitely, I promise you, this is not some religious seminar service. I'm not giving a sermon on religion here. And it certainly isn't a talk on Christianity. Well, it kind of is, but it isn't. Because as soon as you say, as soon as you hear someone say, I'm Christian. And sorry if there's people out there that are Christian. A bearing in mind, I was brought up Christian. I'll give you a little background story in a minute.
But as soon as you hear someone say, Oh, yeah, I'm Christian. And I love Jesus. Immediately, it doesn't matter who you are, you go, Oh, that's a bit shit. You do? I don't want to say anything. That doesn't mean I don't like Christians and I don't like Christianity. It just means instantly, and I reckon the majority of people listening would go, Yes, it's a bit... It's just a bit rubbish and it's a bit crap and there's kind of nothing cool about it. It might be really nice. People might be lovely, but it's a bit crap and just people don't get interested. Sorry, Mum, if you ever do listen to this. So it's definitely not about Christianity. It's about the purpose of this discussion is to talk about some of the interesting points about inner Christianity, which actually when you dig into it has nothing to do with religion whatsoever. Anyway, I'll go into that in a minute. So what I was going to do was give you a bit of a background because we've got two and a half hours to fill up here. So I'm going to fill it out with some inane nonsense at the beginning. You can just skip forward in 30 second increments on Spotify if this isn't ringing your bell,
but it's going to. So to set the scene, I've said this before in an earlier episode. I was brought up Christians. I'm a 50 year old bloke. I was brought up Christian. I went to church with my mum and dad and sister from as early as I could remember, light church. It was all I sort of knew. It was just like part of everyday life. All my friends were from church, like nice childhood, brought up, nice childhood, nice upbringing, church was nice. My friends there were nice. You used to have a lot of fun. You used to get a boys brigade, all that sort of stuff. Got to about the age of 15. Never got baptized. Don't know why. Just didn't get baptized because I went to a Baptist church. So not a full immersion baptism church. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So not the sort of happy clappers, not the Catholic church with the incense and the formalities, just normal church, Baptist church, dude in a suit, every Sunday talking about stuff. But it was just, and they just hear all the normal stories.
And it's a bit, it's all right. And he had some, that's a bit boring. And then you go home and if you're dinner and anyway. Then at the age of 15, 16, I said to you before, you can start going out and he's discovered a pub and fake ID and going out and then you're a bit hungover. And then you're like, I don't really want to go to this thing anymore. I'm not really getting anything out of it. And I'm honest, I got nothing out of it at all other than, oh God loves me. Gotta be a nice person. Jesus loves me. I'm supposed to love Jesus, but I don't really know how can I love something that I don't really know. And that was kind of it. And then the stories about Arks and Rainbows and Sampson's and Delilah's and Devils and all that sort of stuff. So there was all those stories. And then you stop and you don't go to church. I don't know if there might be people that have never been to church, but it's probably what you think it is. It's exactly what it's like. It's just a bit, you turn up on Sunday for a couple of hours. They go through, there's nothing, you never go out of a church service
and feel like, you never feel there's been a eureka moment where you've gone, oh my God, that was like the most profound thing I've ever contemplated. You've just, you've gone through some passage in a Bible and it doesn't really mean anything. It's all just been out. It's the same message, you know, love God, love Jesus, Jesus loves you, da, da, da, da, da. And then I, so I went away, stopped going to church. My, and for you, maybe, I don't know, well when did I get into the more alternative views on it? It was probably 15 years, 16 years ago maybe. So from the age of 17 to, I don't know, 32 maybe, didn't touch anything, didn't touch anything to do with church at all. And then I had a, well I didn't have, but we did as a family, we had a autistic child. So he's 16 now, nonverbal, lovely, amazing, humanoid sort
of, it's like a lovely little soul wrapped up in a little humanoid alien body. We had an autistic child 16, 17 years ago. And we went through all, we did all these different, has this interesting? This is, this is. We went through all these, and you will, unlike this is saying, no, it's boring down anyway. So thanks for saying that. So we went through all these, say, trial, because you have an autistic kid, you try all these things, all these treatments and therapies and supplements, and all these things trying to find out, how do we make the challenges easier? Like he's proper autistic. You know, he would be on the podium, if it was a competition, he would be, you know, occupying gold or silver on the podium, like proper autistic, not just a little bit quirky. Yeah, he's the real deal. So you trial these things, at first your world falls apart, obviously, and then you start looking at,
how can we, what can we do to make his laugh a little bit easier? Did all the, did all the, all the, the therapies, all the stuff, non-pharmaceutical stuff. And then one day I was in a, went to a first aid course, and I was talking to someone in the, in the lunch queue, about Mac being autistic, and the lady behind me said, I heard, your son's autistic, I'm a spiritual healer, and I just wanted to talk to you about it, because I think these children have been put here for a purpose and, you know, all this stuff. So I thought, well, I've tried all these other things. I'm interested to know what this person thinks about it, because maybe there's more to it than just some genetic issue or some vaccine injury or whatever it might be. Maybe there's, there's a little bit more to it. So she said, oh yeah, she was actually worked in our local, in our local supermarket, really lovely lady, Nicky, if you're listening, as she's amazing.
And she said, oh yeah, well, we'll have a thing, and we said, yeah, okay, we'll have, we'll come and have a coffee with you one day, and we'll talk about it. We just see it at the supermarket. We never went and saw, maybe a year, we kept promising to do it, we never did it. And then we said, all right, let's go and do it. So we went and saw Nicky, chatting, chatting, chatting, and all the interesting things that were said were, we had always said that having an autistic child, autistic children have no ego, which is quite a weird concept, but they don't do anything, well certainly not no autistic child that I've come into contact with. They don't do anything to be validated. They don't want, they don't, they don't, you know, my daughter who's amazing, who is not autistic, everything was certainly when she was younger. Look at me, look at me, look at me doing this. Look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, and autistic kids, even though my can't speak, he wasn't doing it, but like from experience with other autistic kids, there's no ego. And Nicky said to me, oh, it's quite interesting because these children are, you know, these children, before I said anything about the ego, she said, oh, you know,
these children are here and they're ego-less, and they're here to, you know, hold the light, and you know, help with the awakening of, you know, of human beings, all this stuff. So I was like, okay, but that's really cool. And then she said to me, remember the concept, it's a long time ago, but she gave me an audiobook, which was either a new earth or the power of nail. I think it was a new earth audiobook. Bearing in mind, I cannot read anything in a book because Captain Autism, from about the age of three, has ruined every single book we've ever owned if, you know, ripping the pages, eating them, or throwing them off of the decking of the house. And I had a candle books, so everything we do is either audiobook or listening to YouTube things. So I had the Eckhart toll, a pair of nail, no, a new earth. And I used to listen to it in the car while striving and just it absolutely blew my mind. And what I heard was some quote of,
that Jesus had made, and Eckhart gave some alternative interpretations of what those quotes were. And in nearly 20 years ago, I'd never heard anyone say that, and I was like, wow, does that really what that means? So I've got to, so Eckhart, if you've never listened to Eckhart toll, you have to listen to Eckhart toll because it's absolutely amazing what he comes out with. Anyway, so now I've been turned onto this, hang on a minute, is there a different interpretation to scripture that I've never heard of before? So anyway, so we're now, well, max 16. So this is maybe 15 years ago, 14 years ago. My mum consistently, all the while I've not, since I've moved out of home and moved country, she's consistently, as an being a Christian, her and my dad Christian for years and years
and years, grandparents Christian, same church in England, always used to say to me, three things, oh, I wish you'd go to church, I wish you'd read the Bible, and I wish you'd ask Jesus into your life. Everyone's probably heard it, everyone's probably, someone has said it, so someone said that to you ever? No. Without, exactly. I was going for the Satanism. It apparently wasn't going in the game, but it was Dark As Faisal rocking the red and black all the time. And a lot of people, it was a point of pride when I could actually stop them from doing it, just kind of look at them, and the scale came back. I heard from a dearly beloved friend of mine, who's now passed that when the J.W.s. would knock on his door, he would commence the conversation by telling them, just so you know, I'm a warlock. And it usually dissipated from there. Yes, I'm very common, but I don't know, I mean, I don't ever want to go and sit in a church again,
because I don't think I need to. And certainly now, with the interpretations of religion that I now have, I know, I don't have to go and sit in a church. In fact, I think it says somewhere, I'm not going to quote, chapter inverse of the Bible, I'm not going to get things right, I'm not even going to give many references from the Bible to try and illustrate some of my points, because I can't do it, because I just don't remember what they are, and this is a long time ago. I can't remember what I saw about. Your parents saying consistently that you want to welcome Jesus. Yes, yes, yes. So, yeah, and I just want to say, yeah, so saying that you should go to church, I think Jesus said, there basically only needs to be two of you discussing things in order for that to be good in, you know, the Holy Spirit of God, or I'm with you if there's just two of you talking about stuff. So, that's good enough for me. We're doing that right now. Ask Jesus into your life. Well, the thing is,
it's very rare that people question Christian wording, because I don't know whether people know what that really means. Like, whenever you talk to, if I talk to my mum, she'll say things that are very, what do they call it? It's very kind of church speak. It's that same stuff you've heard everyone say. It's like, do you know what do you, have you thought about what you're saying, or you're just saying the words? There's no substance behind it. So, it's asked Jesus into your life. I don't know whether people know what that means. And then the final thing was, I wish you'd read the Bible. And I thought, well, I want to read the Bible, mainly because it's like one of those things, where you want to say, no, I don't want to know it, no, I don't want to say I've done it. I just want to be able to know that I have actually read the Bible because the majority of people I know that go to church, they've all read little passages here there, and this week it's this passage, and skip back, you know, seven books, and we're going to do this passage, and this person, who's read it,
and start to finish as a story, as a chronological story. I don't think many people have. So, I thought, okay, well, I want, so I'm going to do that. That's going to be something that I'm going to do. So, I, audio, because I couldn't read it, because Mac would have thrown, I couldn't sit there and read the Bible anyway, that would drive me around the bend. So, I thought I'm going to audiobook it. So, it was like a 50-hour audio book, probably King James Version, I would imagine, there's thousands of other versions that I could have read. And off I went, normal staff creation story, which we covered last week, Genesis, no, the, blah, blah, blah, blah, all the staff, all the kind of crazy stories. And I thought, I don't know, three hours into it, I thought, this is, it's not enough to this. And then I also thought, well, there's the Eckhart-Tull thing, and he did some different interpretations. There must be some study I can do on the side, whilst I'm listening to this, that might give me a different interpretation
of what these stories actually mean. So, I then, I then, audiobook in a Christianity by a guy called Richard Smoli. Can't remember anything about, I can't remember what I took out of that book to come to my own conclusions. I'm not going to quote anything from there, it's been too long ago, but it was a good book. And then the other stuff that I then immersed myself in was Bill Donahue, which is this, this really worth looking out up on YouTube, Bill Donahue. There's two Bill Donahue's. One is an actual, I think one is an actual preacher. And then there's Bill Donahue, you're recognising, because there's like 80s videos, him standing in front of a whiteboard with these big sort of aviator glasses. He's like a New Yorker. He's quite funny. And he has hundreds of hours of all of this alternative esoteric interpretations of religion. It's where I heard about the Emerald tablets of Thoth,
Zorosterous, and all those things that I didn't really know anything about. I still don't really know anything about them, but that was Ferts 3 Bill, was where I, first of all, was amazing. And in fact, I've reached out to him to see if we could get him to come and have a conversation as well on the podcast, which, which would be amazing. It must be an older dude now. So, and then, and so, what I then found was that the going to church every week had, there was no, there was like this whole bit that is hidden from us. And I don't know whether that's intentional or whether it's by accident, but there's a massively powerful message in the whole of the older New Testament, and this alternative message isn't taught. And if it was taught in church, I reckon the places would be packed. But it's not. So, what you find,
not even going to go into those rules yet, but so what you find is, like for some, like if you were to, say if you were to ask a Christian, what does it mean to be Christian? They would likely say, oh, like, you know, what's the purpose of being Christian? What's, what does it mean to be Christian? They would say, well, I want to be saved, and, you know, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died on a cross for my sins, and that if I believe in him, I'll go to heaven. And that to me just doesn't make any sense at all. But I think 90% of Christians, that is what they will say, and almost that, that explanation flies in the face of what Christianity is supposed to be all about. So,
it, the, it's, well, it's okay. Well, where do I, where do I start with this? So, if you look at the teachings of Christianity, the sole purpose of it is selfless service to others. Like, you know, utter selflessness is the whole point in Christianity. It's not, oh, am I going to go to heaven when I die? It's not, do I believe in Jesus? So, for example, it, so it, will I, I'll have this conversation with Christians regularly? Not regularly, but I've had it quite a few times. Is the only way that I'll go to heaven, if I believe, is it only if I believe that Jesus existed and that he was the Son of God? Because that's what it sounds like. Because if you say, can I, supposing I was to just be a good person
with a guy to heaven, you have to believe that Jesus was the Son of God. Because Jesus said, the only way to the Father is through me, or, you know, you can only find the kingdom of heaven through me. Or someone along those lines is you can only get to heaven if you believe in me, right? But, the, I think to myself, well, there's no substance in that. If, if I wanted to make the best apple pie in the world, could I make it just by believing that Gordon Ramsay was the best chef in the world? Would that, would I then just magically make the best apple pie? Oh, this is, it might be a shit analogy. But, it, it, just the believing in Gordon Ramsay is not going to work. So Gordon Ramsay will say, here's a recipe, here's the ingredients,
follow this recipe, and at the end of it, you'll have the most amazing apple pie. That makes more sense to me. So is it? Then just believing that a person existed. So, so I've got these, so I'm now, so I'm reading the Bible, I don't quite understand why Christians have, Christians have gone to church for decades, have missed the point in Christianity, and I don't want to, I could go into some things here, but then I'm going to ruin the sort of the lesson bit. So, so with, so, yes, this is the issue, say, where do I start, and how do I, how do I get into it? It seems that most Christians want something to be, firstly people want it to be literal, or they interpret a Bible literally, as if they want it to be a literal story, and I don't understand, why would you want the story to be literal
and not have a more deeper metaphorical, you know, why would you want it to be an external thing that is literal, rather than an internal thing that is going to benefit you in the near? Why is that what Christians want? Because they'll fight you on this information. I feel that, to an extent, it's a deferral of responsibility, because it allows Christ's death to be a vicarious form of redemption. You don't really need to do anything. You've just got to believe you accept this story happened, and it takes away the weight of one's own guilt. That, I think, is the cycle of the God tool. Yeah, but the, yeah, but the, but the, but the, but the Jesus dying on the cross bit, big a died to take away our sins, doesn't make any sense. Doesn't make any sense. And nobody has given me any explanation to that whatsoever that makes any sense. And Christians will, I keep saying Christians, I do like Christians, and I would almost call myself a Christian, because I do follow the teachings of the man that was called Jesus Christ. But, so I'm not, so I'm not,
so I'm not, these aren't a go at Christians. But what's the, I don't know what the, what's the relevance of the dying on the cross for my sins? Because one of the teachings, one of the things that, look, you're, and you're going to have to go and check the, the passages out yourselves. But the bottom line is, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to make it in sort of modern day chat. Jesus says at some point, don't pack belongings for the journey. Now, that's one of the things that he says. That clearly says, you don't need to worry about what's happening tomorrow. You just have to worry about that. You don't need to be planning really, not really articulate, I just sit in bed doing nothing. But you don't need to worry about what's happening in the future. So, why would I, if, if Jesus has said, don't think, you know, don't pack belongings for the journey, you don't need to worry about the things that you don't need to worry about tomorrow. So, why am I worrying about dying and going to heaven? If it's the selfless, if it's supposed to be selfless service to others, then why am I worried about what's happening to me?
And if I was to get to the gates at the end, and I was to say, and I get that funny little tick-tock thing that I showed you, if I was to say, well, look, I've dedicated my life to serving others and being kind and patient and do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do. Is he really going to say, what did you do those in my name? Who are you didn't do them in my name so they didn't count you're not coming in? It's never going to happen in a million years. And it's never going to happen in a million years, because if heaven is a real thing, that's what we're basing on. We're basing on the Christians' interpretation of it. Jesus was the bloke called Jesus was the ultimate, egoless human. So, he wouldn't want you, he doesn't want to be worshipped. he doesn't want he's not expecting you to do anything in his, so there's got to be more to it than those silly words. So my view is, well if you want to be a Christian, firstly you surely need to be listening to the words that the dude spoke. That doesn't necessarily mean old Testament scripture, literal scripture in the Old Testament.
Because when the Jesus do came along, he rewrote the rule book and said, well actually you've misinterpreted it. A lot of that old stuff that you're looking at. This is what that actually meant. Does that make sense? I've got a belly, belly even started here. So so, oh man, I'm going, I'm going to go backwards and forwards here Toby. So, so is, so is Jesus a real thing? Was he an actual man or was it metaphorical? And if it was a metaphor, does it even matter? Does it matter if he wasn't real? If the message was to treat your fellow brother and sister with love and kindness to be patient and kind and dead and all those other things, would it matter if the dude didn't exist? Absolutely not. No, right. But you cut back to a Christian that's the beyond end all, but I can't see how I can't see how the ultimate egoless human would be expecting you to do anything in his name whatsoever. So that doesn't make any sense.
So I'm trying to paint a picture is the why I don't think the standard line of Christianity makes any sense. We forget the Catholic Church because we've already covered off how how un-Christian that is. So then so you then think yourself, well okay, so the the Old Testament and the New Testament were written by human beings. How old's the Old Testament? It goes back to fragments or semitic fragments that can claim a lineage back to around a thousand DC, but it's probably a bit younger than that again. Like the Old Testament, the Old, the Baramic books. So the Abrahamic books? If you're taking the, if you're taking, if you're taking, if the, sorry, if the creation story in Genesis is taken from the Samarian Tablets and the internet. You keep on going back further and further for other types, but the actual book itself, the Torah and it's later texts all exist in that within the type of the first millennium BC. And certainly as the Kingdom of Israel and Judah split and have their various power struggles,
you've got certain texts that are going to be repeated. We know that there's the Babylonian Talmud from around 500 BC, which is a series of commentaries on the Torah. It's quite old. It probably predates the coming of Christ or the Christian message by about a thousand years in its earliest form, but it could be difficult to put an exact date on it, especially when we acknowledge like in the previous episode, these are recycled myths. And they all have, they all can hear the dog barking in the background and he's so annoying. My hand or the basket, he's mildly off-putting, isn't he? And my name is Louise. It's time is it? In 35 years. In 35 years? Louise? Louise, where are you? Can you go and sort the dog out please? Yeah, so the old testament, however many years old, is it supposed to be channeled some divine channeling to some human dudes, a fair few millennia ago, right?
So it's still been, well firstly it's still been written by a human, that's the first thing. But let's just say it's divine inspiration, I'll ask the crowd, Lee and his wife and the thing, they were all channeling stuff, they were just channeling the bad stuff, this is the good stuff. So if it is channeled information from the divine, is it going to be, you know, the most complex thing in the whole universe that we can't explain? Is it going to be just some basic kid stories about boats and rainbows and fish and bread and mountains and bowls? Like is it going to be that basic? This is what I was thinking to myself, it can't be that basic, it's got to be more to it. There's got to be more, there's got to be a deeper in a meaning. And then when you look at the other thing, you look at, I don't know, Nostocism because I'm going back a long way from when I was looking at that stuff. But even if you were to take, you know, the bag of Aguita as an example, like is that a, is that a historical event or is that myth?
I would say that the Mahabharata of which the bag of Aguita is a chapter in it, like in the previous episode when we briefly touched on it, is probably given the dating of the Indus Valley civilization, how old they are, as much a historical account of the origins of earlier empires, but also within that, there are layers of as a taric meaning too. So I think I would approach the Hindu sacred texts, the Vedas in a similar way that I would approach and that you are so beautifully explained, your approach to Christianity, where you can obviously see that there are historical aspects to it, although they are open to. It could be absolutely a history book chronologically correct or absolutely literal. It could be, so let's pretend that it still is, that's fine, but is that really the divine channeling of the all-powerful godness, or is there a deeper meaning and so, and there is a deeper
meaning and then so people say, well why make the flowered up story in a rapid around a kind of literal interpretation with real people and places events when you could just cut to the chase and give the person their deeper meaning? Well that's because on a spiritual journey, you need that discovery. I don't, well, again, this is going to be one of those things, I don't think I can explain it properly. Yeah, so you need to, it needs to be some kind of profound discovery that kind of clicks something in your head or unlocks it and just getting it, I think, you need to discover it in order and you'll only discover it at the right time when you're sort of ready to have this realization. So and plus, it will be, it also will stand the test of time when it's passed down in this story form because you can change the outer story to some degree and the inner
meaning is still kept and the outer story has tried to be changed many times with books being removed and this and that, but I think they're, but did the people, whoever they were, who took the books out of the Bible, did they know there was a deeper, more allegorical meaning to those stories and they were doing it to remove some of that or did they just read some passages in it? You know, oh, we don't want that book, we'll take that out, we don't want that book. Anyway, you don't have the answer to that. I think there was absolutely a political angle to it, like we discussed, or when we talked about the Catholic Church in the sixth episode, particularly with the Council of Nicer and later Councils over the ensuing centuries, but also I think there's something that I can venture here just as an idea that the way in which an individual reads these sacred texts is as much a reflection of their own spiritual development. I think you've touched on something very, very important and I know you're going to develop it later on,
that this revelation will happen at a time when it's right for you. So I would say that those who would use a sacred text like the Bible to control people, yes, they're in the know to an extent, but similarly, it reflects the baseness of their awareness, that maybe in their heart of hearts, they did exercise certain mystical portions of these texts because they thought they were doing the right thing, but it goes to show how laden their approach was, that they were trying to bend the truth to suit a human experience rather than as human as realizing that you served truth. Yeah, and this is the alchemical bit, isn't it? This is alchemy here, is the changing from the whole literal to spiritual interpretation and what it does to you internally as a human. I'm a totally different person having found this stuff out to what I was before. So there's death and I'm not saying I'm enlightened, I'm certainly not enlightened. And in fact, I got so into this stuff quite
a few years ago and then as with anything, because I'm not a car toll when I'm not Jesus Christ. So you just, you get into it and you hit a bit of a flow state as you've said, then you, then life gets in the way and then you forget about it. And it was only through us talking about it where I've gone, you know what I'm going to go and remind myself what this stuff is? Because it's so powerful. It's mind-blowingly powerful. But only to the people that are listening to this that are ready to hear it because everyone else just be like, yeah, yeah, yeah, well, you can make anything you want out of that and that's coincident. And I'll go through later some of the synchronicities that I've experienced, which to me are utterly mind-blowing into other people's, just a fucking coincidence, it doesn't mean anything. But that's fine. And if that's what you think, that just means you're not quite ready for it yet. And that doesn't matter. And it could all be bollocks as well. And I'm totally aware of that, but it doesn't. It's not bollocks to me. So to kind of very long story short, and I don't want to cut a long story short, because we've still got a little while to go, you're only 40 minutes, I'll try and make this short story long. And I'm going to give you examples.
But the bottom line is that everything that is written in the old and new testament, everything that is written, not just the parable that Jesus spoke in, but everything has a deeper meaning. And when you realise that, well, in fact, when you kind of have the sort of translation key, then you can suddenly see it in everything. And the more you see it in everything, the more, yeah, because I say to my mum, because I think she probably thinks this makes me less Christianie and less Jesusy. And I say to her, now if you actually got into this, you'd be amazed at how suddenly you're feeling like you have a closer connection to the God thing. The bottom line is that every story is talking about, aside from the astrological, and aside from the anatomical, which you've come before, the psychological and emotional interpretation of the old and new
testament, everything is about balance. It's all about how you align yourself internally to form some kind of equilibrium, some form of balance, which I don't know what it does, it unlocks something within you. It sort of opens a door to something and suddenly life becomes very easy and the world works with you. And the reason that you find out that it's all about balance, and as I say, you could look at this and you could say, well, that's balanced out, because you're just making whatever you want out of those things. That's fine, but you see how often it repeats itself is quite uncanny. So the premise is it's about balancing your... So we're a, we're a, well, I said this before, we're a left brain dominated society. Left brain and right brain, it's a fairly widely understood concept, even though I've read, well, I haven't read, as we know,
I've audiobooked some stuff, modern discovery about the left and right brain and what those different hemispheres are responsible for. And, you know, the original, so like, concept is that your left brain is your masculine aspect and responsible for language, numbers, logic, everything that you need to perceive a physical and logical world around you. That's all done by your left hemisphere. And your right hemisphere, supposedly, is your feminine aspect, which is your... everything that perceives your non-physical world around you, whether that's, you know, I think you can't put your finger on appreciation of art and music, intuition, creativity, spirit and spirituality. You can't appreciate spirituality and the metaphysical from your left brain because your left brain wants to be able to put a finger on it and make sense of it. So, but we are either deliberately or by accident, we are heavily left brain dominated as a
society because it's all about numbers. I mean, look at your fucking whole, your trapped in a system that is numbers on a bank balance. Your whole existence is going to exchange your time and effort for some numbers on a fucking bank statement. Right, that's how that's how banal our existence is. And then it's, you know, the real masculine aspect, the competitive aspect, survival of the fittest, competition, you know, ego, consumerism, you know, all that, that capitalism, all that stuff that is heavily left brain dominated, and that's the world that we live in. And that's why the fucking world... Well, I don't know whether you and I might be... you and I, Toby and everyone listening, might be different, but that's why there's so many fucked up things going on in the world because it's so... everything is literal, everything's been taken literally and it's all, well, I'm better
than you, I'm stronger than you, I want what you've got, you know, that's that is playing, it's manifested in the world so, so much to the point where we're almost, are we at World War Three, you know, on the press of Israel World War Three, I couldn't give a fuck actually, I'd quite like it to happen now because I know about it for 50 years and I also think to myself, if the anti-Christ is coming, if this is that era where the anti-Christ is coming and is it the thing, I'm like, what's the chances of that? I'm alive for that, this... Yes, I'm a balanced... Yes, I'm a duality, yeah. I've managed to pick the platy time when the anti-Christ is coming. What are the chances? So anyway, so the Bible is talking about, well, excuse me, I'm still recovering from a bit of a cold, so sorry about the snorting noises. So the Bible is all about accessing your spirituality and your right brain, your feminine aspect, balancing it with your left aspect, that's the kind of purpose of all other stories. It's the same as I'm going to butcher this,
the who... you must know about the Bhagavad Gita and the five brothers, the five brothers who were born of the king and then they went the king, their father died and they went sorry if I've got this completely wrong, the five brothers, apparently, who were they called? I can't name them off the top. Oh, Toby! I'm fucking his pay. We will possibly have a Swami from the Harry Krishna movement later on and we could probably put it to him in a few weeks' time, actually bring that up. The figure that I am most familiar with is Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita. Arjuna, yeah, he was one of the sons. Arjuna goes and wakes up on the battlefield and has to engage in conflict with his family who have the armies of God while he has God. Here we go, yes, here we have... There is me! Oh, anyway, this five brothers. The bomb line is, we'll just skip to the end.
The basic story is, there's five brothers, they're born to a, I don't know, the good king or whatever, the king, good king dies and they go to live with the blind king and the blind king is supposed to represent your left brain, your masculine aspects and the five brothers are your five senses and that you're now, the five senses are now being controlled by the blind brother. That's the bright, the blind uncle. There's a metaphysical aspect, there's not a metaphysical aspect, that's not the word. There's an esoteric interpret, that's just that rut roughly. Absolutely. That's the story of the Bhagavad Gita. Say, is that, that's not, maybe it's literal. I think you have an overlap with Nostocrystianity where one of their terms for the full and aspect of the creation of Isola Lesa God, the left brain God is, they refer to Missamel, the blind God, the one that creates with no knowledge of the true source and it's interesting because you had a brilliant reference to the left
brain and the features of that, the numerical features that which deals in logic, that which deals in fixed consequences, it's no wonder then that when you look at the imagery associated with Freemasonry, they refer to their creator as the grand architect of the universe, G for geometry, that which measures, that which utilizes the left brain, to control, and our control system, like you so brilliantly summarized, which is created a lot of the horrors of today is entirely left brain dominated. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, so, so when you, so if you go into the biblical stories with this knowledge that everything is relating to accessing more your, well, it's basically all the stories that are about masculine and feminine or Eastern way. Like, it's a, in fact, you can pick out and I've mentioned this before. So if you take, we went into this last week and I didn't explain it
properly actually because I left the bid out, but when you break down the name Israel, which we said yesterday, I asked for ISIS, your spiritual feminine aspect, ra, some God, Egyptian, some God, ra represents the mind, ISIS represents the spirit, ra represents the mind, that's feminine and masculine and L, which we didn't say last time, L obviously is of God if you have Elohim, if you have Michael, Gabriel, El, anything El was... Okay, so some kind of godness. So, so the word Israel is implying, masculine and feminine aspect, left and right brain hype, essentially higher and lower consciousness. This is what, that's what it is. So all of those things kind of, and again, not a biblical scholar, not an esoteric, fucking spiritual genius, but the bottom line is masculine, feminine aspect, left and right brain, higher and lower consciousness, all kind of
interchange with themselves. When you look at things like, so if you were to say to a Christian, what's the Holy Trinity? Oh, Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. He said, what does that mean? Well, it means it's God in three persons, you know, and you're like, what does that, what is just that is nonsense? It might not be nonsense, and I do apologize to anyone if I'm offending, but just explain what it means to me. Trinity isn't. Yeah, it's because it doesn't mean if it's, if God is the Father, but God is up there as a, as a some entity that's in there in the thing, then surely the Holy Spirit is the same thing. And then the Son is the thing, but you can, you can break that down. The Holy, the Holy Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Well, if you said Father, Spirit, Son, you've got the same thing. You've got Father, masculine, mind, you've got Spirit, feminine, right brain, and you've got the Son, which is the thing that you create. You become, once you have balanced those two things. So whether the Holy Trinity means
the Father, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, or something in three-puzzle, what it may be, it means that, but don't mean anything to me. That doesn't mean anything to me. And the whole, this whole interpretation is about what does this mean to me? What do I get out of it in the present? Not what, why I don't want something external in the future doesn't make any sense. I want something that I can get out of it right now at three o'clock on a Wednesday afternoon. I want to get something out of it. Now that's my, that's my point in it. So you look at all of the, all of the, we're not waffling on with Toby. Absolutely not. I'm really enjoying this. In fact, I'm going to make sure I steal every little bit of note I can have after this. This is my mind. I enjoy it a lot. Dale, so please continue. So, so then you look, you now read the Bible stories through this lens of balance. And every single story refers to it. Whether there's a reference to
Eastern West means the same thing. If there's a reference to Sun and Moon, it means the same thing. I don't know whether Sun and Moon is referenced matching the Bible. I don't know, but if you see it in there, that's what it means. Solomon, Temple at Solomon, Solomon, Sun and Moon, absolutely. The star of David, as we said before, the cipher Israel, the actual, the logo is a masculine of feminine aspects overlaid on each other. Can an able Adam and Eve, can an able, there is, there is always so there was, you know, cane was the masculine one, I think, able was the softer gentle was he? I can't remember. Yeah, it was. Jacob and he saw, said this before. I can't remember. Yeah, the hairy man. And I think Jacob had to trick his dad into leaving him the thing. Anyway, yes, yeah, yeah, yeah. So Jacob was the soft and meek, the shepherd.
He was the shepherd, soft meek, the spiritual, a shepherd, you know, the shepherd, the lamb of God, the shepherd, you know, that's the epitome of spiritual representation. David and Goliath, you know, the Goliath, the big, the giant soldier versus the young lad who defeated him with five stones. And if you're David, you're the spirit, you're a spirit. So Goliath is the ego and the left side and the masculine aspect and the lower consciousness. But David is the meek, gentle shepherd, who's the spirit. And his spirit defeats with the five he, the five stones in the, in the sling represent the five senses, the five senses are guided by the spirit and the spirit defeats the ego. That's the purpose of that. So if you, if you have
balance and you're accessing your spiritual side, and your senses are controlled by your, your senses are, what's the word? You're, I want to say through the kind of lens of the spiritual side, your action, your passions are, yote to something higher than just the sense of self. Yep, yes, that's perfect to be exactly right. Is any reference to Israel and Egypt? Egypt is the lower mind. Israel is the higher consciousness. So the lower conscious, first the higher consciousness. So if you take for example, the story of Moses leading, oh, might I just say here, these are a bramic, this is an a bramic faith, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, a bramic faith, but based on the books, the, the a bramic books, Galatians 424 in the New Testament. It essentially says, which
things are an allegory describing the story of Abraham, Sarah and Hagar. So, and I can't remember what that story even is, but you can go and look it up yourselves. So, don't be lazy. Look at up yourselves. Now, that might be saying, well, that, that literal story could be interpreted east allegorically to mean something else. It's still a real story, but you can take the real story and you can make this little sub, or it could mean the whole of the book of Abraham, Sarah and Hagar is allegorical, which means is the whole a bramic books allegory. Does it, is it all allegory? Galatians 424 says it. It essentially says, the whole Bible is allegorical. The Jesus dude says, I talk to them in parable, you know, everything I say is in parable. So, Israel and Egypt, Moses leads, of course, feel free to correct me on any of my incorrect information. Moses leads the Israelites out of Egypt. They've been held by the Pharaoh, leads them out
of Egypt, crosses the Red Sea to find the Promised Land. That's the, that's the story in the Bible. The, if you look at it through the lens of balance left and right brain, the Pharaoh represents the ego. Egypt represents the lower mind. Israel represents the higher consciousness. And Moses, which is you, the reader, in the, in the now, at 10 past three or three o'clock on Wednesday afternoon, it's not Moses, the dude, 6000 years, 5000 years ago, it's you, the reader reading the book right now, is telling you that if you can part the Red Sea or read in mysticism as the emotions, a body of water we said before is the psyche. So, if you want to reach the Promised Land, which is the, the thing that God has promised you, the, the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow where life is going to be blissful, then you need to escape your ego, move away from your lower mind, your lower consciousness,
and transcend thought and emotion and you'll reach the place where you can be with God, communicate with God, I have a blissful life, right? That's just that, that's that story. Supposedly, could all be bollocks, but I get something out of that. I don't get anything out of Moses leading people across a Red Sea. Oh, let's go and see if we can find out when the, all the tide goes down here at this time of the year and that's probably when they learn, then you put the staff in the thing and the water came out and we think we can find the rock with the water came, you like, we have whatever, but what sound, well, there's no good to me, there's no good to me, but it is quite good to me if it says, hey, if I can work out that I've got to balance this thing internally and if I can transcend thought and emotion, then suddenly my life's going to feel a lot better. That makes good and end and I'll go through more of these, but if I just stop and take that, if I take that into my life, when I was reading all this stuff, by now I've got a five year old autistic lab that doesn't speak and so Louise, who's my amazing wife, I'll be listening to this, she and she's amazing,
absolutely amazing as a mother and she's been amazing with Matt, she's done all of these things with him and for him, but she used to, things did used to get on top of her and she would get you know, she'd have the little breakdown and you know, why don't you get a bit angry or sad and what if, what if, oh, now only if this hadn't happened and what's going to have she used to say, what, you know, is it, supposing you never has a girlfriend, supposing you never drive a car, what's going to happen when we die? So if you take that just as an example of anything that you're going through in your life at the moment, whether it's the bills you can't pay or whether it's the the relationship that's breaking down or the death you've had in the family or whatever it is, you're, you're using the, using this information, I'm able to take out of that, well that's the, that's the, the, the thought and emotion, the thought is building up this horrible narrative in my head that's going to make me sad and now I'm going to think about what's going to have, what is
going to happen when I die? My son can't talk, he's now 16, he's never been able to say a word to me, how am I going to explain to him where, where I've, you know, how's someone going to explain where I've gone when I'm dead? Is he going to think I've just disappeared? Who's going to look after all this stuff right? So, but I've come to realise, I don't know, he's worried about any of that stuff, if I, if I can stop that narrative in my head, then I don't get the emotion that comes with it. So, I'm, you know, I'll say Louise again, when, when sad things are happening, I don't get emotional about it and it's not because I'm a heartless serial killer, it's because I refuse to listen to the narrative that is painting this bleak picture that is, and I think people get addicted to that as well. Absolutely. But you're painting this bleak picture and building this narrative and that narrative is causing an emotion and that emotion is putting you in the, in the state of discomfort that you're in and I just choose not to, not to do it and the more I've done it, the better I've
got of it and now things don't really bother me. So, that's, so that is a snippet as to what do I get out of this story? Well, what I've got out of that interpretation of some of those things, that Moses story is that's physically helped me get over a massive challenge in my life. I've got something from that. If I'd have gone to church, someone would have said to me, oh, we're prey for you and we'll do this and we'll do it. Lovely. That's really nice and they're all lovely people. But I'm still going home and I'm still having that internal narrative because no one's said to me, hey, look, this is what that shit means. Why don't you give that a try? So, the story is amazing. The story of Noah's Ark, we touched on this the other day. Noah's Ark will Noah is preparing for a flood and a flood is water and a, you know, a flood is a body of water. So, surely if you look at it through the lens of the balance and the left brain and the mysticism of the wording, then the flood that's coming is, well, are you ready for the turmoil
of your mind that's going to fuck you up? And how are you preparing yourself for that? Are you aware that's going to happen because you are going to get it? You're going to go through, you're either going through it right now or you've been through it. I'm not even talking about having cancer. I'm talking about, you know, when you get that thing and you go, oh, is this cancer? And that's it. I'm sorry if someone's actually actually going through this, but I'm just trying to give you an example that suddenly the mind's like, oh, it's like it's alive and it's playing all these horrible things. So, it might be jealousy or it might be anger or it's something that's happened to you or whatever. So, are you just now going to just go into that narrative and laugh's going to become horrible? Or are you starting to think, oh, all right, that's going to happen? So, how do I safeguard myself against that? When I start to get those thoughts, what I need to do is I need to create some place of refuge for when that shit starts happening. I'm going to be able to quiet knit or I'm going to be able to escape. I'm going to be able to close the door on it. That's what the story of
Noah's Ark is supposed to mean. Did he really take one of every, you know, a two of every animal into the obviously two means male and female? Yes. Right. So, two of everything into the Ark. Like, of course he didn't. He's no way that that is not possible. Which ones did he leave out? Did he leave as, you know, some of the comedians, I said, did he leave the fish out and the ducks? Because they were going to be okay surviving, you know, in the water. So, that doesn't, that's not literal. It can't possibly be literal. So, you obviously haven't been to the museum in America where they spent, I believe, upwards of a hundred million dollars to try and reproduce the Ark experience when a fundamentalist Christian believed that such a thing was possible. And in order to prove this, invested the vast majority of his great fortune into building a boat that I believe it extends or something like a kilometer. And you still wouldn't get all the boats. You still wouldn't get anywhere near the animals in there. But I swear if this world doesn't come so close soon, I do want to get a ticket to that museum or walk around because
the Ark experience is something worth looking at. That's mad. But this is the mag. They've done it and they've done all the looks for you on the mountainside. The men's are at the way. They've done it. They've done it. They've done it. They've done it. They've done it. They've done it. They've done it. They've done it. They've done it. This is, and it's true. This is the madness of when people run with a physical interpretation, you wind up with someone who's obviously got a lot of material positions actually trying to convince them. Well, oh no, no, no, no, no, I will build an Ark out of wood and I will spend a great deal of money on it. And then I will charge people for the privilege of walking through my mighty boat. I want to go there. Don't get me wrong because I've got a sick and twisted sense of humour. But this is the absurdity of running really physically. And maybe it did happen. Maybe it did happen. But what do I get out of it? How does that help me with my autistic son that doesn't know when I die that I've disappeared somewhere? Does that hurt? Oh, but yeah, but he, you know, and then he said that there's a flood and they sent a rain boat. So he's never going to happen again. We want to do that. So I'm not getting anything out of it. So that's that. And then the animal and I was, you know, how do you get well, what does the animals represent? Well, does that? I don't know. But when you look at it through the
lens of the balance and the masculine and the female aspect, does that mean? Yeah, everything that you take into this place of refuge with you has to be balanced. It has to come from, yeah, you can't have the right brain without the left brain. It's not about, oh, I'm suddenly, I don't want the left brain. It just means that your left brain action is being guided by a higher self, by higher consciousness or your right brain or your connection with some spirituality. So does it mean? I don't know the answer. Does does it mean that the, the, the two animals, the male and female animal represent baseness, earthliness. It's the base form of humanity, anything that's relating, anything that's mentioning the earth animal, it's like base nature. So is it implying that everything you bring into the arc with you into this place of refuge has to be balanced? So maybe that's what it means, but you can still, it still fits in nicely. And then you have the story of, oh, say then you got Jesus walking on the water. So maybe that happened, a lovely
story and maybe he did walk on the water. But I think he was asleep in the boat. The, the, the storm had come, the things were falling overboard, the disciples were all scared. Jesus was asleep. Obviously that means if that is metaphorically you, you know, you should just be, you know, the, shits falling apart around you, but you should be able to just be relaxed and calm. And then he walks on the water. If water is, it represents the psyche. Does that mean he is transcending thoughts. He hopped over the edge of the boat. It's transcended thought and the storms calmed. Great. I mean, I love the fact I'd love to know that Jesus was a real dude and that he walked on water. That's lovely. What does it do for me right now with Mac, you know, and nothing, but the thought of, okay, well, I don't need that stormy mind. I don't want that turmoil of the mind. I'm going to just let it go and relax and know that everything's going to be okay and it will be okay. That's that story. Absolutely. Jesus walking on the shores of Galilee with the disciples who had been fishing
all night and he said, and the headquarter thing, do you remember this storm? I don't know the story, do you know the story? You go to it. So he's walking along the shores of Galilee. The disciples have been fishing, haven't caught anything. And he said cast your nets to the east or cast your nets to the right side, right side. They cast their nets to the right side. They pulled up an abundance of fish, 153 fish to be honest, which in numerology is nine, one plus five plus three is nine, nine is supposed to represent human consciousness. So, so they're like, why 153 fish? Why did Jesus say cast your nets to the east or to the right side? Why didn't he just say just toss your nets in on the other side of the boat? Why did he specify a place to put it? So again, when you look at it through the lens of the balancing and the accessing of the right brain, that's saying cast your nets, cast your thoughts to the right side and that's where you find abundance. Not in the left side, which is all logic and numbers and consumerism and materialism and all those other flakets.
So those are three or four examples of that's I mean, that's to me, that's clear as that's clear as day. And then you've got the references to lion and lamb, wolf and lamb, the Messiah will come or return when the lamb lays down with the wolf and you think, oh, does that mean suddenly all the nasty predatory animals will all become nice or does it mean? Well, no, you suddenly, your predatory mind is now being guided or being softened by the spiritual side. Is that so again, all looking through the thing? And then, oh, and I can't remember some of this stuff and I will look into it, but there's different, you know, there's references to sister and there's references to wife in the Bible. And I'm fairly sure that sister refers to the emotions, whereas wife refers to the higher mind. There are, there's all kinds of manner of different things. I've done that, Moses walking on the warden, Noah's Ark disciples, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it.
Oh, yeah, no, this is I can't, I can't guarantee this information is correct, but I'm about to share here. But there's a lot of numerology in the Bible and I don't know where this comes from and I've got to research it a little bit. But there's a lot of numbers in the Bible. 153 fish, 666 is the number of the beasts, 666 tenants of gold that King Solomon had. And you know, Jesus at, well, we hear about him when he was born, we hear about him when he was 12, we hear about him when he was 30, and we hear about him when he was 33, well, one and 12, one and two is 3, 30 and numerology is 3, 33, I like to master number. 33 means teacher or master teacher. It's 33, you know, obviously it's an important number, it's an important number in freemationary. They've, they've, they've, they've, they've, what's up the spine? Spine, that's a developer, I'm not exactly. So the, so enumerology, mysticism,
these numbers are supposed to be, this is what it's, this is what's supposed to be represented by the numbers, but I can't tell you where this comes from and I'm going to have to dig around a little bit. One, they're supposed to represent God. Two is supposed to represent body and soul, so you and God. Three is supposed to represent new life, resurrection or a new beginning. So Jesus died for, you know, was in the thing for three days, for he rose again, Jonah was in the belly of the fish for three days. There's probably a thousand other references to three. Four, oh yeah, this is quite an interesting bit. Four is supposed to represent the fourfold nature of sort of man. I think it's like the evolution of consciousness. So the evolution of consciousness, then this is where it might start getting a bit, I apologize, this might start getting a bit bunkers this stuff, but there's supposed, there is supposed to be four sort of levels of kind of human enlightenment. So obviously you start as kind of physical and earthly, you know, that's your
kind of base nature. Then you've got your sort of psychology emotions, your sort of your next layer up from your base nature. Then you've got your spirituality and then you've got the divine and these are the kind of the the the stages that you're supposed to evolve through. I think there's some four, I think there is some reference to four stages of awakening in Buddhism. So I think there's some links again to that. That in the Bible, in the Bible, as Bill Dunley would say, the references are, those four stages are represented by references to on one side, stone, wheat and grain, bread and flesh. Those are the four stages of human consciousness and evolution. So stone, grain, slash wheat, bread and flesh, and then on the other side, it's water,
grape or vine, wine and blood. Those are the four. So when you hear those stories about, you know, Jesus turned water into wine. Well, does that mean he's he has turned the base physical carnal minded spit souls into spiritual beings? That is interesting because I know in the occult traditions, typically the layers of quadrousness raises, goes from mineral through vegetable, through animal, through man and then through the angelic realms there after. So that fits perfectly with the answer. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I can. But I mean, again, it's all, you know, you can take, all of this cool just be nonsense, but it is quite sort of profound some of the realization you have when you do match this up and it really does do something to you, or it does nothing to any, you know, maybe it's only doing something for one person out there who knows. And bread, wine, water into wine, bread, yeah, you know, this references to lots of
there's lots of references to bread and flesh. What a wine of communions and eat this and this is the flesh of me anyway, let's not worry about that, but that was something I was going to bring up, but I can't remember enough about it. And then this load of references to everything is in the east in the Bible. The wise men came from the east, but they followed a star in the east. If you're coming from the east, can you follow something in the east to get to here? If you're, if I'm here, and there's a wise man in the east and he's following a star that is in the east, is he coming to me or is he going in the opposite direction? Who's going in the opposite direction? So that's the garden of Eden was in the east. Everything is in the east, east, east, you know, it's a sits at the right hand of God, right, right, right, right, right, everything is the east or the right. It's where the godliness is. Right, yeah, people that. That's very true, even though the rising of the sun, the rising of the sun. Yeah, the rising of the sun. And
you know, then I start thinking, I don't know, obviously I can't make sense of everything. And as I say, this is just my own little shit here. I don't know if it makes any sense, but I look at everything I think, you know, pole shift, literal, but does that mean that, you know, where, you know, you start thinking, is it referring to, you know, a change in, you know, the sun rises in the east and then, you know, it sets in the west, is it? You know, so you start, not that I know what I'm talking about here, but you start looking at all these things. Is that the, is there some kind of deeper meaning to that sort of thing? So anyway, all right, so, so this is all, so all of these things, I've looked, there's so much information about it. And I can't really wrap it up in a, in a, in a few sound bites on a, on a, on a couple of our podcast, but this is what I, like, I spent a lot of time looking into this. And I ended up thinking, well, there must be that can I distill all of these stories down into lessons, like, like, like, because I like a bit of order,
I thought, are these all just, they're just like a billion different random instructions? Or, can I take all of these stories and all of these esoteric interpretations based on balance? And can I find out what are the, are there lessons on how to live and do all of these stories, can you kind of categorize them into one of those, one of those lessons? And out of that, I distilled down, I distilled down 10 rules for how to live your life so as to live in harmony with the universe. I'm not talking about gods. I don't, I think if you're thinking God is a man in the clouds with a beard that's watching everything, then I think that that might be why, well, certainly why Stephen Fry's interpretation of God is incorrect. And probably Dawkins, Richard Dawkins, because God to me is not, there's not a geeseer. It's a thing that's out there. It's some kind of
magical force that you can interact with if you, if you understand it properly. So I've distilled down these lessons based on, so I would like to think, and I can't give you examples of all the stories and why they fit into these. But trust me, you can go and do it yourself. It's only 50 hours of audio book, the King's James Bible if you want to go and do it yourself, and then just send me, just if you can just send me the answers to what stories in the Bible relate to these 10 points. So life rules, rule number one, live with love at the core of everything you think, say and do. So now hang on, before I carry on with this, this here is the narrow gate. This is the narrow gate. So biblically, in Matthew 7, 13 to 14, if you want actual Bible verse, Matthew 7, 13 to 14, enter through the narrow gate for why does the gate and broad is the road
that leads to destruction and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few will find it. That's right. That's Jesus, the big J.C.'s words. I think he was a call dude. So, it to me, and this isn't the ten commandments, and the ten commandments are obviously, yeah, don't kill anybody. And that's fair, I think we all agree that they're good commandments. But these are the ten rules. Number one, live with love at the core of everything you think, say and do. Number two, treat everyone with love and kindness no matter their circumstance. Well, you might think, well, number one covers number two, well, it does, but this is emphasising treat everyone with love and kindness no matter their circumstance. I may struggle to treat Benjamin Netanyahu with love and kindness no matter his circumstance, but I have to. Yes. I have to. Don't let the ego rule your life. That's number three. Number four, live through spirituality, creativity and intuition. Number five, don't judge others. That's the
set where you can bunch that into one and two, but it's just because how many times, how many times a day do you drive? You walk a lot, look at that person's fat ass. Look at that's ridiculous. I don't know what that person does. Number five, don't judge others. Number six, live in the present without fear of the future or regret of the past. Seven, give without expecting to receive and tell nobody about it. So like you have all these things on TikTok where all these people are going around. They're being lovely to homeless people and they're sharing it and whenever you do a good thing for someone, you always feel like you want to tell someone about it. So you cannot tell anyone about it. Be grateful for what number eight. Be grateful for what you have not desiring for what you don't. Number nine, resist the temptations of the lower mind. So desire greed, lust, gluttony. It doesn't mean you can't do it, but you're supposed to be trying not to do it too much. And number 10, don't get caught up in the pursuit of material possessions, wealth and riches.
Right. So that is the 10 rules for living. There was something I was going to say there about. Yeah. So what if you follow, if you follow these 10 rules, like you follow it to the letter, but this is the narrow gates. That is small and narrow. The road is narrow that leads to life and only a few find it. So not only do not many people know that these 10 rules are and some people say, let's just a Christian that I just know that it's being a Christian. And I would say don't let the ego rule your life. And that would answer them for that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Good. I like that. Because yeah, so if you follow these 10 rules, which are really hard to follow, like super, super almost impossible to follow every day all the time, almost impossible. Narrow gate hard to
find very hard to follow, really, really hard to follow. But that is that those are Christ's rules wrapped up in parable and allegory. Those are the rules on how to live your life. If you stray from if you don't live your life with these 10 rules, then which is what we all do. And that's the wide gates that everyone finds. If you don't live your life these 10 ways, then you're living your life anti Christ, which is anti Christ. It's the anti Christ. You're doing the opposite to what the Christ thing is telling you to do. So if you can live with those 10 rules, I guarantee you that weird and good thing will start happening to you. And I'll give you examples of what's happened to me and you might not be interested in them, but I'm going to share them anyway. But you have to take these rules into account while you're following the rules. And I don't know whether that's going to make any sense, but you can't do these 10 things in order for something to happen.
So if you're only doing these 10 rules in order to see something happen, it's not going to happen. You can't test God. That's, you know, that's supposed to be the, you know, oh, well that means you're not allowed to get God to pick a chair up or, you know, do a thing or make that mountain move. Now that, that means you can't force the metaphysical. You can't observe, in fact, well, we've even shown it if you look at the string theory, you can't, if you observe something, if you are putting intention into it in one, in one way, you're going to affect the reality of it. So you have to submit to these 10 things and do it completely on the expectation that's nothing going to happen. That nothing's going to happen. I guarantee you that the freakyest, weirdest good shit's going to happen. It's like it's weird. It's weird. And obviously, what, you know, give without expectants receive until nobody abounding, give without expecting to receive, give without expecting to receive. So these 10 points are giving to others your higher self. That's what that is. So you're
giving it, you can't be giving to others your higher self if you're expecting to get something back out of it because it's not going to work. So you've got to submit to those, oh, so then, then, what's his name? Steve Fry will say, oh, you're supposed to submit to God, submit, you know, how, how could an all loving, whatever God. I think I'll come on, Stephen, you're supposed to be one of the most intellectual guys on the planet. What it's saying is you submit to this higher part of yourself. So you're, you're circumcising yourself from your lower mind. That's what circumcision is supposed to represent. You're not cutting off the skin of your penis that was put there for a reason. If you're circumcised, and there's no problem with it, but you're supposed to be, I think there's a Bible passage somewhere that Jesus says, that's not, you know, that's not a literal. The circumcision thing's not literal. That is a new covenant baptism was supposed to replace the old covenant of circumcision. The old Ludwright is replaced with the Christ consciousness as we're discussing
Christ either as a historical figure or an allegorical state of being that one gets to in practicing these rules. That covenant, that baptism, the cleaning and cleansing of the waters as it relates to what you should beautifully explain before, down the quietening of the mind, the balancing of the mind. That's the new covenant. That is the intercourse with God, one of a better term that takes place when these are put into practice. I wonder whether the baptising is a metaphorical thing. I wonder whether that means, you're submerged in the water and then you immerse yourself from the water, immerse yourself in it. You don't immerse yourself out of it. You immerse yourself in it. Then you immerse yourself clean. You immerse cleanse. You immerse yourself in. Not immerse, not immerse in. Not immerse out. That's the wrong way around. But yeah, is that could that could also be missing? I'm looking at all the things now. It's very important to look at because one of the things that we mentioned when we were talking about the nature of what the emotions of the psyche is
reflected by water in the occult traditions, which we talked about before. Water is always associated with the astral plane of reality. We may, I believe, have touched on it in previous episodes, but just as a brief summary of the systems as they're espoused through hermetic teachings. Typically, they talk about the physical plane of reality. That's the flesh and blood. That's me shaking your hand. I can feel you. You can feel me. Then there is the astral plane of reality. Usually associated with a lunar feminine aspect, emotional, vivid dreaming. Then there's the atheric aspect, life force, energy. A little bit more masculine associated with which sustains and creates. Then there is a mental plane of reality with the higher thoughts. All of these into play until finally one might be lucky to break on through to the spiritual plane. But only when all of those other planes are balanced in alignment, the irony of this structure is that a lot of people think even in magicians that they go to these incredible planes of awareness. Some very, very
developed atherisists have suggested that what we might just be playing around with when we're still lost in the realm of the ego is only things as high as the astral plane of reality. The choppy waters of the mind, sexual fantasies, a vivid wet dream, if you will, which is a wonderful thing to experience. But at the end of the day, you just wake up a little bit messy and in need of a shav before you repeat it all over again. I think that a lot of the references to calming those waters are a case of breaking through that. One of those lessons which you mentioned about the base nature, I'll just have to have a quick look so that I don't butcher it. I think number nine, Dale, resist the temptations of the lower mind, the ziagreed lust glutney ties directly into that. It's not to say that we don't have moments where we feel a bit horny, we feel a bit hungry, we need something to survive. It's that if you just purely program into that as we do, you know, as I'm guilty of having done, as I still occasionally go back into anas, this world
encourages us through the sex, drugs, rock and roll advertising, you will never get beyond those choppy astral waters. You will never come. I mean, how many people are relying on the alcohol the whole time? Nice, good, honest, nice folk. I mean, in this country, you notice it more, I'm sure it's England, but I noticed it more here. It's if you don't drink alcohol, you're almost at it weird. Absolutely. A man told me once I remember that one of the first times where I attempted to go completely sober from booze. And he was in, he was an interesting fellow, you know, a kind chat, but he had certainly, you know, come up in Australia in the 60s and 70s with the drinking culture. And he told me quite seriously, he goes the biggest thing you're going to encounter when you go sober is that people won't trust you here because they'll think you're trying to get one up on them that you'll be kind of observing them keenly while they're opening up. And I thought, God, what a what an awful way to approach. I mean, I'm very grateful that he said that, but I thought what an
awful mindset to have. Because deep down the ego, well, I think the old, the old saying misery loves company. It becomes very mistrustful when it sees hang on a minute. You've got clean. I mean, I've seen it in many scenes that I've associated with. I remember associating with a bit of an opiate scene when I was younger and the the worst thing that would happen was the fellow junkies kind of bringing one another back down into the pit. And you can, oh, he's a vile experience. And but you can then interpret that on a, on more of a metaphysical level where I remember seeing people in that state and with absolute love to them. I hope that I hope that their journey yields the results that their souls need to wake up to the beautiful reality available to all of us. But I interpreted that as a bit of a lesson on a, on a deeper level, but man, all these people exist within me. And to quote a beautiful passage, which again, I'm probably going to butcher a bit, but Christ talks about when he who saves the woman who's about to be stoned by the mob, you know,
let he who is without sin cast a test and I always try to remember that. I mean, don't get me wrong. I always like to comment on things. It's part of what we do on this podcast. But there's always that check one cell. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So in fact, that was it perfectly said that because a bit that I forgot and I'd just remember it while you were talking. You find that, uh, Christians, sorry, it's like exerting it. A very, the reason that they're disliked by a lot of people, which is bizarre because they should be the most liked of all people on earth is because they're a bit judgy. They're always judge, always judging gay people at home as sexualities are sin. Well, so is eating shellfish in the same passage, but I bet you're still eating prawns. So, you know, stoning adulterous women outside the city walls, you know, all that sort of stuff. So that's all nonsense. So is the, you know, the angels came down and the crowd wanted to come and kill and rape the angels of the man that was the thing. So the man let his daughters and the daughters could go
out and they could have the daughters instead. And then the guy, the thing who was going to sleep with his daughters, you know, it's all that's fucking weird. That is all fucking really weird. So, you find that Christians can be a bit judgy and they're judgy because they're forcing the rules on, they're, well, if they even know the rules, forcing the rules on other people. And that's not what Christianity is. Christianity is a private pursuit on your own and these are the lessons on how to live your life. And as an example, if enough, if I said this before, if you, yeah, I did say this last week, if you say the lesson is don't steal from anyone. That's the lesson for you, Dale, reading the Bible. But if you're stolen from, give them your jacket and the other shit. So that's not, the lesson is not, oh, don't steal. So I'm
judging you if you steal. The lesson is just for me. Don't fucking be an asshole and don't steal from people. And if you are unlucky enough to be stolen from, give up more. And why do you give up more? Well, you give without expecting to receive. That's one of the first things. But secondly, you're the psychological aspect of that is you're releasing it. If someone owes you money, if you, you can get angry about it in a liter way at you, you'll start feeling, oh, that feeling is hot and that is disc, that's discomfort in the present. Whereas if you were to ring up the person and say, keep the money. I don't want it. Do, you know, do something with it. Happy to give it to you. Obviously need it. You've released it. And suddenly you're like, you'll almost get goose bumps and you'll think, ah, that's, that's what I'm supposed to be doing. So it's not a, Christianity should never be judging because it's not for anyone other than you. And not many, I don't think many people, so when people say you should ask, oh, I used to, I, my mum might listen to these podcasts at one point. She would say,
I, like, I'd go through this stuff. I must tell you a story. I'm, I'm sorry if you're listening. This is an example of the story. So I've, so I've found that I'm not saying I'm better than anyone else. Right. I'm just sharing that these are just the lessons that I discovered and I try to follow. And I'm going to try to follow them again because I haven't done it for many years. But when I did, I really did experience the God thing and I implore any of you out there to follow these and see what happens. And I'm going to give you some examples of it a little bit later if you're still listening, which I hope you are. And my mum, you obviously older lady in her late 70s. She was an aerobics instructor, like, she would put on, you know, she'd do classes in the, in the local hall and people to get anyway. Did that for years and years and years? As Christian, been to church for decades since she was a kid. And as I've said before, I feel like I wish she was a wizardy, warlocky person and could have given me all this stuff. And then you feel like, yeah, you've got you understand,
you know, there's profound things that you're saying there that are making a difference in my life. That's what I wanted from, that's what I want from my parents that have been to church for 70 years. So she went on, she went on, I think she came here once and she gave her, she asked that someone to take over her lessons for her, not very much, manny. But could you take over the lessons? You can use that stuff. Could you just look after the lessons while I'm away? Anyway, she came up and I'll hold it up. The woman had taken over the lessons, like, and basically said, I've taken over your class, right? And my mum was, oh, she'd just been what she thought was diagnosed with cancer. So she's got all this horrible stuff going on. Thankfully, it wasn't cancer. But at the time, she thought she'd been diagnosed with a variant cancer. And then she's got this, which she said, she said to me, I can't, absolutely live it. I can't believe, she said, your dad's written a letter to the lady with going, we're going to read it, we're going to write this letter, I said, Mum, do you don't you think you've just, you've worried that you've got cancer? I said, isn't it really worth it? I said, I've got a better idea.
I said, why? And so the lady's got her classes. She said, I've taken over the classes. She's written over the classes. And so I said to my mum, why don't you ring the lady and say to her, I'm so glad that you've decided to do that. What an excellent idea. I'm getting a bit old now. You would be much better at it. And why don't you have all of my equipment and stuff as well? And I hope you do a great job with it, right? This is what I've said to Mum, because I was like, she, I think you've got been diagnosed with cancer. And my mum said to me, oh, Dale, I wish you'd asked Jesus into your life, that is just the sort of thing that Jesus would say. Right. So my, and that to me is like, well, haven't I asked, isn't this asking Jesus into my life? Is this way of this practice again? Exactly. But yeah, it's gone totally over her head. That's an example to me of that I'm not saying I'm better than my mum. It's like the indoctrination of this Christian way of thinking and they can't see the wood for the trees. Yes.
And at 77, I want you to, I want them to be able to, because how much better would you feel? I mean, and you didn't really mean anything anyway. It was a few hundred bucks a week, whatever it was going to be. So that was that. So that was that was that was an example of that now. I found when I, so when you follow these rules, it's like you, you click into some spiritual, what's the word? You sort of lock into some kind of spiritual connection. And it's really weird to explain, but I find that I that I go through, it's like, it's almost like, it's almost like a drug in that you're chasing this feeling and you can't chase it because if you chase it, you're not going to find it. But when you're when you, you follow these rules and you kind of lock into this into this connection with the, with the universe and this stuff happens, but you, it's really hard to stay locked to it. And it's like, I in my head, I picture these,
you won't be able to see what I'm doing here, but I, but Toby can see, and there's a matter to, and what you look, you can, I just listen to the areas. It's like these turning dials, and they connect and they lock just for a minute and you get this glimpse into this spiritual world and then they slowly go and die. You desperately trying to find it. And then you might have an instance where like, the synchronicities happen. So for example, I've had loads of synchronicities happen and like really good ones and they, and people just think, well, it's fucking bulwark style. I don't care because it's for me. Yes, yes, yeah, okay, perfect. So I've got some really out there ones. So I share these. I'm on the edge of my seat. Okay, brilliant. So some, let's, some just some little things. There are a couple of small things. So when I first got into this stuff, I just started my own business and it was really difficult at the beginning. You know, I didn't have much money in the bank and I'd taken a bit of a chance. And it was getting
quite like desperate. Like I was like, I've got to get some deals. I've got to start coming in otherwise. I'm going to have to give up. And Mac, or Captain Autism, who was only maybe, I don't know, maybe three old enough to be walking. He brought me his shoes, which he never does. He brought me his shoes. It was maybe eight or nine o'clock at night. And because he's done something to get my attention and he's autistic and he doesn't talk, I was like, all right, cool. Well, let's put a shoes on and we'll go for a walk. And we walked down to the bottom of my road. And there was a, there's like a church with a signboard, you know, when they have the thing on the, you know, the service this day, whatever. And on the word, and this will mean nothing to anyone. But the words on that board were live life fearlessly. You're here for a purpose, right? And this was, I wouldn't have ever have gone walk down there. I've, that would have been on that board for ages, but I'd never seen it. But I saw it that night when I was like, and I was like, that's a sign. The sun's brought me to the shoes for starters, that doesn't happen. I've gone down. I've seen this thing. I was like, all right, that's a, I'm taking that as a sign. And I've loved that. I've loved that. I've never heard, never heard
anyone say that before. I've never seen it since. But love that as a, as a kind of mantra. And then I had all these, we had all these other weird things happen, little weird things that happen. I had a, like, I, you know, Mac had pulled a book when it, but the days when we had books, there was a book on the bed that was a Lin McTaggot's The Field. I don't know if you've ever read it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Amazing. All about the power of intention and, you know, and the quantum field. That was on the bed. Didn't even know I had it. It was one of those books that you, you know, when like someone said, oh, do you want this box of books? That box of books? Did you like that? I mean, check them all in the book, in the bookshelf. And this book was on the bed. And it's like, I'm, and that was, I would, I was well off the spiritual cycle. It had gone. And that was one of the things that got me back in again. Like, no, no, no, no, no, it was just on the bed. But he'd taken it out. It, you know, not, not for any reason. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
But that was just a book that's on the bed. But I mean, you know, Matt could have, that he didn't do it with any purpose, but it was that book was there. And I read it and it was amazing. And then, you know, little bit, this will be really out there that you, that no one, you just think this is ballocks, but Florence, my daughter had gone on, gone to a party in a, like a, like a field and books and woods and things. And she fell over and got a, got a, a tweak in a neck at Lucky, Mr. Artery, but it's a thing in the neck. And she went to the hospital and the hospital said to us, oh, she needs a tetanus injection. And so you're, because of Mac, we've always been very, we don't, we now don't just do what we're told. We have to go and look at us like, I don't really know what tetanus is. Let me go and check it out. How, what's the likelihood that it's tetanus? Okay. Now the chance is, how do you get it? Da, da, da, da, da, because we don't want to really have vaccines. This is a, this is a stupid thing. And this, this will mean nothing to anyone. But I was, we were like, do we give it to her? Don't we give it to her? Because if you don't give it to her, and she has like a tetanus and dies, you know, that's quite, there's, there's a little
bit worried. And she was a young thing at the time. And, and I drove, I had to drive down to the farmer, the 24-hour pharmacy. And when I was driving down to the pharmacy, I was listening to this, all mean nothing. It's going to be so stupid and no one would think anything of this. I was just listening to Eddie Isard, who I used to love as a comedian. And I was listening to this sketch, or something had come up, or it was a, something sketch of something to do with Eddie Isard. And this was at the time when we were all really worried about, no, we're making the right decision, we're making the right decision. I went into the pharmacy in Australia, but like it's not known for, they're not everyone loves English comedy. And I got out the car and this is Eddie Isard. I went into the pharmacy and the pharmacist said to me, have you seen the Eddie Isard sketchery talking about vitamin C? And I was like, yeah, I have, I know it really well. But now I was like, fucking, that's the weirdest thing. Like, I've not even seen Eddie Isard for years. And now I've just watched this thing and now the pharmacist has said the same thing. Now that mean nothing to anyone, but that to me was a, there's a nudge like, it's all right, you know, this, where there's
something's, something's something is watching what's happening. And we need to get your attention was what it was. Whether it's just a coincidence, fucking, there'll be people that will switch up, and maybe think that's just utter bullshit. Anyway, it doesn't matter, but that was just another thing we think you're getting a little, or you might see something on a registration plate or something, something that gives you a little nudge. It's like, fucking, that's weird. Anyway, but the craziest synchronicity story that I've had, which outlines all of this, was, and this is a bit of a long-winded story, but it's an hour and forty two. And if it goes on for 15, 20 minutes and so be it. I've got to, I've got to paint this whole story because this is basically what, what showed me there is a god thing that's, what that's watching. And again, could be coming to us as an utter bullshit, but this was, this was what categorically told me that there was something metaphysical out there. I worked for a business, this was a sales guy for a business, I ran this company. I'm not going to, I'm not going to say what, what I do, but I made a sale. So I was
engaged for six months on a contract. I made a sale where I couldn't send the invoice out for three months. That was what the, in the industry that I mean, you, when the, when the, when the, the delivery of the goods has happened, you send out the invoice. And there's no actual physical goods. While I'm working at this company, first couple of months, I make this, I fuck it, I make this place, but I'm in recruitment. It's not that fucking glad. I just didn't worry, we all are saying what I do, because it's a bit boring. If I make this placement, I place this guy with a, with a, with a company where I know the hiring manager sort of personally, it's a work of acquaintance, but we've become quite good friends over the years. Anyway, he, he, I place a guy with him and the start date is in three months time. And so it's a $12,000 fee. It wasn't big. $12,000 fee in recruitment terms is not very big. And so, but the, but I'm not sending the invoice out for three months, because the guys are going to start for three months. The week before the guy is supposed to start,
we get told there's five of us in the business, in this little business that I was running. I get told we're, we are merging this company into the bigger company. Basically, you're all major redundant, you know, but I'm on a contract. So I'm just that's it. You contracts finished. You've got one week's notice in the next week, right? So the end of the week is the Friday and then on the Monday, the I'm supposed to be sending out this invoice for $12,000 for this, for this guy. Go back a few months and a couple of the guys in the office had asked if they could borrow some money off of me. And I didn't know the three people asked me to borrow money at separate times. Two of them, one of them I knew really well, one of them I knew reasonably well, one of them I didn't know a toys like a brand new guy that had started. I let them all the money, took ages to get the money back. The one guy, the newest guy who I didn't know who borrowed the money, hadn't paid me back at all. We finished the, so these people are borrow money. We've, so the company finishes.
I leave. I've got one guy that still owes me money. On the Monday, I say to, well, I say the week before whatever. I say to the guy that I know, I'm not going to send the invoice through this company because the company's winding up. I'm incriminating myself here. I'm sending the invoice. I'm going to send the invoice myself because I'm going to start on my own, right? I'm going to just send the invoice. I'm going to start my own to forget that. I'm going to delete everything's there, right? So I'm finishing on the Friday and on the Monday, I'm going to send the invoice from my own business, right? I'm going to use it to help me set up my own business, but I don't want to do it because I don't want to incriminate myself. So I then say to a friend of mine who I know's got a business, I say to him, could you send an invoice on my behalf or not on my behalf, could you just send the invoice to this company? They'll pay you and then you just give me the money back. They said, yeah, that's cool. He could do that. So the backstory is, I've lent some money to some people. I'm now doing this underhanded thing where I've got this thing. Oh, this is
a story. You can follow me to it. Right. So I, so I, so I've someone who's been money, the invoice has been sent by my friend to this company. Skip forward months, the invoice has been paid by the company to my friend. So my friend is now sitting on $12,000. I have set up on my own after finishing up with this company. I didn't have much money in the bank, but the money I had in the bank was, okay, I've got this many months to survive. Plus, I've got this $12,000 being held by my friend. So that's a safety net. Anyway, months go by, months go by. I'm watching an episode of Judge Judy one night. Right. I love to, I love Judge Judy. And, and it's an episode about someone owes someone some money, right? And it might, I get fucking angry because I think of this, because I think of this guy that owes me six, it was only $600, $6700. So I sit there at night, 10 o'clock at night, and I thought, I'm going to send this bastard a text message because he owes me six hundred dollars. I barely know him and he's not paid me back. So I sent him this text message saying, I can't
believe you've done this, you know, really bad. I expect you to, you know, pay me back. I send it. This is 10 o'clock at night. I swear on my, while I smell my own life, rather my children's lives, but I swear on lives, and this is absolutely the truth. At 10 o'clock at night, months later, from when the invoice has been sent by my friend, the company has paid the invoice. I send it at 10 o'clock, my RC email, a text message. The very next day, the phone call, the first phone that rings eight o'clock in the morning is my acquaintance in the company who's paid the bill to my mate, and he rings up and says, oh, we've got a problem. The company that you worked at has sent us a message saying, we need to send you an invoice for $12,000. Right? So he's already paid it to my friend and now the company that I worked at that should have got the invite, have now sent to a message saying, who do we send the invoice to? You know, this $12,000. And then no, no, would have a lie. This is this is only the start of the story. So this is a 10 o'clock night. I said, is this interesting?
Yes, absolutely. So at 10 o'clock at night, I promise you at 10 o'clock at night, four months after I've left the company, the invoice has been paid for years. At eight o'clock, the following morning, the phone rings, and it's my mate at the other company saying, we've got a problem. And I knew exactly what had happened. This is the universe is saying to me, how dare you get the art hole about someone who owes you some money when you've just essentially done the wrong thing and shafted this other company for $12,000. So I immediately texted the guy, I said to the guy at the company, don't worry about it. I know what's happening. Ignore it. You'll never hear about it again. It's just going to go away. I promise you just ignore it. I texted the guy, open your money. I said, I'm so sorry. I sent you that message last night. I didn't mean it. Really sorry. Keep the money. I don't need it. Don't do that. So that's that. That's the first bit of the story. Then, so my friend of mine who owed me the money has now, so months go by and my friend says,
oh, his business goes down the pan. He keeps saying he's going to send me the money and it transpires that he doesn't have the money because he spent it all. He doesn't have the money. His company's gone down the toilet. The $12,000 safety net has got, but it didn't, it doesn't matter now because the safety net of the $12,000 was just a psychological safety net for me, which made me feel comfortable with my job, my business had picked up. Anyway, so I say to him, now I don't worry. So I said to him rather than get the art hole, which you would do with $12,000 when you work for yourself. I said, do you know what? The universe has kicked my ass a little while back about this anyway. I'm going to just say to him, don't worry about it. It wasn't my money in the first place. I don't need it. You obviously needed it. Don't worry about it. Just keep it. It wasn't my hand. So this is a choice I've made to give up what wasn't mine anyway, to calm it down to do the right thing. And I for an eye, just a side note, an eye for an eye or a tooth for a tooth. Everyone thinks that's about revenge. That is whatever you put out, you get back. That's the, yeah, it's the,
these are all these concepts are all in the, in the Bible. So anyway, I then have, so months go by and I want to, I've got this little polo that I'm driving. I did have a, no, I won't tell you to, don't let the ego rule you laugh. I went to the other before that. So I had this little polo and I wanted a polo GTI and the guy who had, his business has gone down the pan, had bought the polo GTI for his then girlfriend. Like his business has gone down the pan. All he had left was the cars and I said, can I buy your car off you? And he said, yeah, it's still ocean finance on it. I said, that's all right. He said, can we, can you can come down and pick it up, but don't, I can't, you know, don't we won't do any of the financial transaction because I want to leave a few months until I've made some more payments on it. And they don't know too much money. It's like, okay, cool. So I go down to pick up the car down to Melbourne from Sydney. And I fly down for one night. My friend is a little bit down. He's a, he's a quirky character.
We go down and he says, we're going to go out for dinner. We go out for a drink to this bar. He introduces me to two people. One of them is a guy. We swear, what do you do? I'm in IT. What do you do? I'm in IT recruitment. We swap cards. That's it. We don't do nothing, nothing more. Three or four months past, five months past. And I get a phone call and it's the random guy who I'd met in the bar from going down to see Ben, I'll say his name, but gone down to see Ben, who I didn't get the asshole with for spending my $12,000 because it wasn't my money. So I've made the right decision with still friends. I've gone down to see him. I've picked up his car. I've met this guy. The guy says to me, the guy rings me, four months later, he says, I've had a bit of a falling out with Ben, Nukki, Otis and Mani and that. Anyway, he says to me, I've come to the crux of the story here and this might be a big anti-clamax, but he says to me, I'm hiring some staff. Can you help me find some people? I end up putting in four contractors into his business.
And no word of a lie. I make $3,000, $150 a day. I make $3,000 per four people. I make 12 grand because show you the numbers on here. I'm not lying. I'll show you the numbers. In the first 12 months, I get $12,000 a month. It's a 12 month contract for testers if you're interested. I get $12,000 a month for 12 months. I was owed $12,000 of money that I didn't get. And to me, now that's the end of the story, right? But the story is that it just through, you might think that's really shit. And I've just built this whole story up. But this, that example of that process opened my eyes to the fact that there's a universe out there that is conspiring to help me if I make the right decisions in life. And not only that, it was almost biblical. It was almost biblical in that the money I got back through making the right decisions was 12 times the amount of
money that I got back. And when I said that to my mum, I was like, oh, that's like a story in the Bible. And like, yeah, it is. And it might sound like it might sound like the shittest story in the world to anyone else. But there's, I can't, there's no other reason why, and then I ended up doing, I did lots of money with that. I'll show you afterwards. I'm not going to be crass on this thing, but I'm going to show you after to prove the numbers. But not roughly, not 12,000, no, but no, but roughly that amount of money. But that categorically to me said, there's something going on out there that if you make the right choices every day, all the time, things are going to happen. And there's little things that will happen, you know, I think that I need to do, you know, work slowing up, I need to start. I'll sit in here, the phone will ring things like as soon as, as soon as I need things to happen, things happen. And that's synchronicity, synchronicity's happened all the time. That might have been a shit story, but that was categorically the main thing that has made me think there's a universe out there that is working with me if I choose to follow a certain set of rules.
And those set of rules are the ones that I that I found and that I followed and when I followed them, I connected with this spiritual thing. And when I strayed from it, I got my R slapped. And that still happens. Even if I go back to, even if I go back to when I was younger, two instances where, and I wasn't into any of this stuff at all, but two instances, just karma. And karma is, you know, this is, this is karma's law. I, I bought, I remember when you're young, you never got much money. I bought a car, remember the old car stereo is it used to put in with the handle. I bought a car stereo off of someone who obviously knicked it out of a car. And that stereo was stolen from my car and the door skin was ripped off of my car. That. And then I bought a stereo. This is a long time ago when we were first living in that flat me in Louise in England. I bought a stereo off a guy who bought it with a dodgy credit card. I bought it really cheaply and someone broke into the house and stole the stereo and other things. And that's so all these
things are like, there is a, there's definitely a karmic law and I've seen it happen. But I've seen that stuff. So crazy. And that's why I then saw, well, there's definitely this North South godly axis. And that's why I then said, Oh, geez, what do you know about the Oco and then you said to that. And then that's why I wanted to find out, do people manipulate that, that force and that power to tap into that thing. And I think that's why we then we've got onto episode one. If you have list of episodes, I won't go back list of that. That's not it. That's it. That's it. That is a magnificent summary. It's a magnificent summary because it illustrates not only to myself, but also to the people listening, that the process by which manifestation flow states call them what you well happens isn't always down to the hoax focus of ritual. It's obviously down to certain algorithms. If we want to use a left brain approach, yeah, definitely, that exists
within this very mysterious universe. Yeah. We respond to things and the universe responds to us. When we talk about the concept of God as we said in previous episodes, we're not talking about the bearded skyman, the theistic, you know, long design, but also much more lion father figure that we all sort of struggle with their own psyches. We're talking about something that's closer than hands and feet to describe what the Christ is approaching, something which permeates all things, something which transcends the typical juzmus of right and wrong, something that is just looking to enter your life at any one moment. There was a beautiful line that was said to me once by someone they said, God always says yes. And this is something that we need to be aware of as conscious entities in this world. I can't speak for the far reaches of the universe and the laws that apply there, but I can speak for the human experience that everyone, no matter how powerless you think you are, you have far more power than society tells you. With that comes great responsibility with
these layers of awareness, I think, the north south axis. I think it's such a good illustration to have Dale because look, we have our moments of desire. I know I certainly have them. For all sorts of things, I like certain material comforts. Oh, same. Oh, good food, beautiful women. These are all things that come up in my consciousness, but at the same time, one thing that I found as part of the process of one of a better term maturation is that the more you realize about this world, the more responsibility comes with that. Not in a guilt sense, but it's like maybe, maybe what I want to do, I can only speak for myself, I can't speak for others. What I want to do is connect with something that respects the human, but also transcends it. I don't want to, it's like you have a good run on booze or drugs or whatever, you know, racing sport, but there's always that come down. And that's the east west and you can do that. You know, I'm a great believer, you know, if it doesn't harm anyone, then do what that will, you know, to butcher a little
the lemic line. But I also think there comes a point when we mature from our animal tendencies. Yeah, yeah. And we realize there's something wrong. Yeah. This mystery that you've gone a very great way to describe it, because it must necessarily be mysterious, because the rational line will never fully understand it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll borrow from another tradition here that I think summarises it pretty well. In Taoism, the Tao-Dae Chiang, it's opening line, is the Tao, which in this instance is God the Force, the Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao. So they have moments of approaching it. They're like, it'll always escape the rational line. You need to move, in a way that you have so beautifully described in these ten laws for a better term, these life rules. There are ways when you, like in the instance of, you know, the money example that you go, which I think is a very valid example, and it's something that we all, you know, I mean, we all wrestle with money. We wrestle with the concept of money in this world, that when you set aside the ego,
and look, you know, any people, even right think of people, said, no, no, no, it's your right to have this. You have the right type of this, but when you set it aside and something like that happens, you're like, right, I am in control, but I'm not in control. I'm in control of the fact that I can choose to respond to this in a certain way, but also I understand that there's something else operating here, and that is true magic for me. And obviously there are magicians that we've described who have made it their life work to be able to properly manipulate these currents. And, you know, if that's their life's journey, you know, I wish them the best, along with it, doesn't have the control of other people. And they do it, they obviously do it because they want to experience some form of magic, and you don't think you can get it through traditional religion, or you wouldn't think, well, there's no, you know, a Christian's not going to be a baby, a Christian's going to witness a healing. I'm sort of my, you know, I'm curious out as to whether, you know, how often that happens, although Jesus, the dude Jesus did say, if you've
got the faith of a mustard seed, you could tell the mountain to get up and move, and it would get up and move. And if you look at the, is it the book of Thomas that was taken out? That was an exciting one. And in there, I think there's the, you know, the description on how to pray, and if you pray, you know, the correct way to pray is to align your head and your heart, so your intention and fuel as if the thing has already happened. You know, so when, if someone's praying, if sort of if a Christian person is praying to Jesus, oh, please heal so and so, they're sick, or you know, make this happen in the future, the correct way to pray is supposed to pray and act as if or feel or what's the word? As if it's already there. Yeah, absolutely. Gratitude, of course it is. And so believe that it's, and that has already happened. And then if, and Greg Brayden has done some stuff where he's gone over to the, he's gone to the monks and they, he said there was a thing where he, whether he experienced it himself or you saw
them doing it, where they were chanting over the woman that had the cancer and they were watching it on the screen and they watched the cancer, tumours, drink, and he said, how are you doing it? And they said we're just, we are essentially creating an environment where we've accepted that it's already healed. Wow. Like you can see this thing on, like, you know, could be bugs. I've heard this story about the remission of the cancer. I have heard that before and I have been greatly moved by Greg's, Greg, Greg Brayden's species that I've seen over all recorded ones. I mean, you told me the other way you actually went to see the man speak. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, he's a lot of those. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, the eyes are effect and all this. It's done some really good books. Um, yeah, so it's like all of that stuff is like that's, and yet that was taken out of the, that was the book of tumours that was taken out of the Bible. So there is some real magic key, I mean, you're not supposed to call it magic, but there is some real mystical magical stuff that
happens, but you don't, I don't want to manipulate it through ritual and magic and because I think that is the wrong path. And I'm happy. I don't, I don't need like great. I mean, I, I subscribe to the uh, you know, feel as if something has already happened. I try to make that happen with a lot of things in life, not material wealth, because I'm not getting caught up in the pursuit of material possessions, wealth and riches as per rule number 10. Um, so I do practice that type of stuff, but I don't want to manipulate anything on purpose. I just want to live my life in a way that is good to people and kind of nice. Uh, and when you do this, I'm going to read the fun, read the 10 points out one more time just so that you can, so it's, I please, I dare you, whoever's listening to this, to try this out for two weeks and you've got to do it to everything. You can't be, it's two weeks commitment. You're practicing this practice. Number one, live with love at the core of everything
you think, say and do. Number two, treat everyone with love and kindness no matter their circumstance. Number three, don't let the ego rule your life. So don't, when you want to, oh, I just got to tell them that I did that thing when they're telling me a story, don't let it happen. Four, live through spirituality, creativity and intuition. Five, don't judge others. Six, live in the present without fear of the future or regret of the past. Seven, give without expecting to receive and tell nobody about it. Important, a bit in brackets. Eight, be grateful for what you have not designed for what you don't. Nine, resist the temptations of the lower mind, desire greed, lust, gluttony. Ten, don't get caught up in the pursuit of material possessions, wealth and riches. Boom, do that for two weeks. Come back and tell me what you think happened, but don't do it with the expertise of anything that's going to happen. How's that, David? That is a thing of beauty, David. I think that pretty much summarized. It's good to have fun after that. We've managed to convey today. I think that's probably wrong, isn't it? I think that is fantastic. I know having just listened to that then, I'm going to attempt
to do that. Yeah, I'm going to do it as well because I've become, I haven't done it for ages. I feel this niggling, I mean, I feel my sense of self now, you know, making conditions on it, and that's the funny thing that the mind works. Well, maybe I'll do this, maybe I'll do that. I mean, I've had a couple of debates lately with people. You know what? The social media thing. You really, because you do really like the ego desperately wants to win those, and it is quite, it's a quite an interesting experiment, trying to conduct yourself in a way that is just nice. Yes, yeah, because I'm finding right now, even as you are reading that, I'm like, my Lord, it's funny even having this conversation right now, this topic for our eighth episode, I'm seeing how it's going to be a bit of a challenge, but then I don't want to overwrite what will come up for me. It's like, don't sit there thinking about it, just practice it. Yeah, just practice it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's hard. You know, it's only the mind that's going to make it hard. Yeah. Thank you for putting that challenge to me. I will attempt to embody that.
That's good, I know. Oh yeah. That's that. We finished. That's today's, I don't know if we need to do any more, 2005 minutes. It'll probably be six me and I don't talk quite eloquently as young Toby. So 2006 moves I think is probably it. Absolutely. Should we say goodbye? Absolutely. Right. Thank you very much. Probably see you later. Or of what?
